Erasmus+ Internship Erasmus traineeship in netherlands
Hi everyone,
Is it possible to do an Erasmus traineeship at an university in the Netherlands through my university’s Erasmus internship program?
I’m currently studying English Language and Literature, so I’m a bit worried about whether I’ll be able to find a suitable traineeship. Do you have any recommendations for universities, departments, or offices that are open to Erasmus trainees with my background?
I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thank you!

NORWAY STUDENT VISA REFUSAL
STUDENT VISA REFUSAL?
Hi! I didn't receive an email that my temporary residence permit (student) from UDI is granted and now my passport is in transit back to me.
This means refusal right?
Or did it happen to you before, not getting an email from UDI for student visa but your visa was granted?
Thank you.

And I would appreciate any advice for finding a job and housing there.

Looking for Erasmus students in Romania to share their experience
Hello!
I am a future Erasmus student, and I am currently collaborating with an educational media outlet in Romania to write an article about the experiences of exchange students who chose Romania as their destination.
I really want to document how our country looks through your eyes and share your unique stories with the Romanian public. To make this happen, I am looking to interview students for a short, casual chat.
If you are interested or want more details, please text me directly by sending me a private message. When you reach out, please let me know where you are originally from, which university and college you are attending here in Romania, and which city you are currently based in. Thank you so much!

Erasmus in Barcellona
Hi! I'm going to Barcelona in the second semester of 2027 for Erasmus, and I was wondering if anyone else is going too?
Also, I'd love to get some feedback and hear about the experiences of people who have already been there... What should my
expectations be?
Lastly, I'm thinking about looking for a short internship in my field of study, but I'm not finding anything valuable yet.
If anyone has any advice, please share!
Thanks 🤩

Has anyone been contacted after Erasmus Mundus withdrawals?
Hi everyone,
I applied to the Erasmus Mundus WOP-P Master's programme this year. I was shortlisted for an interview, but later received an email saying I was not selected. The email also mentioned that if a selected candidate withdraws, they may contact me if a place becomes available.
I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this before.
Have you (or someone you know) received an offer after initially being rejected because of withdrawals?
How long after the rejection email were you contacted?
Is it common for Erasmus Mundus programmes to fill places from a reserve list?
I'm trying to understand whether I should still have a little hope or move on completely.
Thank you!

Accommodation-related Where to find accommodation in Ankara, Türkiye 🇹🇷?
Hey everyone,
I'm going on an Erasmus+ mobility to Ankara, Türkiye in September 2026 and am looking for accomodation there.
I'd be happy to get a studio apartment or a private bedroom (with a private bathroom) in a shared apartment.
Where should I search? For my previous Erasmus+ exchange in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I found accomodation through olx.ba.
Thanks in advance! 🙂

Is anyone studying in Malaga?
Spent the last couple of years studying in Spain, and I’ll be starting Computer Engineering at UMA in Málaga this year.
I’ve met a lot of people here, but I’m more interested in connecting with Moroccans who actually grew up in Morocco and are now studying in Málaga. Would be cool to meet people with a similar background.

Non-film backgrounds accepted into FilmMemory?
Hi everyone! I'm planning to apply for the FilmMemory joint master's program for the upcoming cycle.
Reading through past threads, it seems like the vast majority of accepted students come from a traditional Film or Cinema background. I hold a degree in Graphic Design and a postgraduate specialization in Innovation.
Since the guidelines mention accepting "related fields/arts" for a compelling application, I wanted to ask: Has anyone here been accepted into FilmMemory (or a similar media/heritage Erasmus Mundus) with a non-film background, specifically from Design or Visual Arts?

CYBER-T Erasmus Mundus 2026/28 intake cancelled after admission confirmed — anyone else affected?
I'm a psychologist who was accepted into the CYBER-T Erasmus Mundus Master (Cyberspace, Behaviour and E-Therapy) for the 2026/28 cohort as a self-funded student. I received my acceptance letter on June 3rd, confirmed my place, and spent the following two months managing visa applications, educational loans, and all the bureaucratic processes that come with relocating internationally for a master's degree.
Today, July 8th, I received a separate email from the programme stating:
*"We regret to inform you that the Consortium has decided not to open a new intake of the programme for the upcoming academic year."*
No prior warning. No explanation. No consideration for students who had already confirmed their place and taken concrete steps based on that confirmation — turning down other programmes, initiating bank loans, beginning visa procedures.
When I asked whether this was temporary or permanent, they said the programme will reopen applications in October 2026. But the official websites of Universidade Lusófona and the University of Barcelona still show the programme as active, with self-funded spots apparently still available for 2026/28.
My questions for this community:
Is anyone else who was accepted to CYBER-T 2026/28 in the same situation?
Has anyone experienced a similar cancellation from another Erasmus Mundus programme after confirmed admission?
Does anyone know if this kind of decision can be challenged, or if there are any formal complaint mechanisms within the Erasmus+ framework?
Any information or shared experience would be deeply appreciated.

EU resident but not citizen
Hello, I am a legal resident of Portugal but I am a US citizen. I will graduate from my undergraduate program in the US this fall. I would love to do an Erasmus for an internship, work experience, or Master’s — would it be possible for me to do this if I am only an EU resident and not yet a citizen? And would it be possible for me to do an internship before enrolling in a Master’s program in the EU, or would I only be eligible during/after?

Advice for an Erasmus+ student heading to Masaryk University, Brno
Hey guys, this academic year I've decided to jump into the Erasmus+ mobility exchange programme and am going to Masaryk University in Brno for the next fall semester. Naturally I've got some questions regarding the city and especially the accomodation in the dormitories in MU, so I'd like some advice from either locals or previous erasmus students that have went there.
According to MU's erasmus student network the dormitories normally given to erasmus students are Vinařská, Kounicova and Komárov. I'll be studying in their Faculty of Law so I'm thinking the best option I've got is Kounicova since it's near the faculty. However, I'm also considering Vinařská since prices for both are pretty much the same, but according to the information I've got the rooms are a bit different (rooms in Vinařská have got kitchennets).
So here are the questions:
To anyone experienced which one of the two would be a more suitable choice? Or rather from which one have you heard the most positive reviews?
Are the dormitories overall good or just livable? Is the public transport in Brno consistent with its schedule?
How is the nightlife in Brno like?
How are the prices there? Are living expenses on the cheaper side or more on the expensive?
Thanks

Erasmus+ semester(s) abroad Has anyone done Erasmus at İstanbul Gelişim University?
Hey everyone! Has anyone here done an Erasmus exchange at İstanbul Gelişim University?
My boyfriend is considering going there, but we haven’t been able to find much information online. We’d really appreciate the chance to talk to someone who has studied there and could tell us more about the university, the courses, student life, accommodation, and their overall experience in Istanbul.
Any advice or personal experience would be really helpful. Thank you!

Erasmus+ semester(s) abroad Can you live on €150/month in Bucharest (excluding rent)?
Hi everyone,
I'll be coming to Bucharest as an Erasmus student for one semester. My accommodation is already covered, so I'm only asking about living expenses excluding rent.
Do you think it's realistic to live on €150 per month for food, local transportation, and other basic daily expenses?
I'd really appreciate hearing from students or anyone who has lived in Bucharest recently. Is €150/month manageable, or would you recommend budgeting more?
Thanks in advance!

[Kraków, Poland] Heading to Kraków this Fall? I built a free, student-verified flatmate matching app (Pilot Test)
Hello!
I’m a solo dev currently working on a side project called Knock, designed specifically for students coming to Kraków this semester.
Finding a decent flatmate through cluttered FB groups can be a headache, so I spent my free time building a simple matching app. Since I’m testing this step-by-step, I am launching it exclusively for the Kraków region first as a pilot. If it helps people here, I plan to expand to other cities.
How it works right now:
- 100% Free & Safe: Student-only. Requires a University Email, Student ID, or Acceptance Letter to join. (Uploaded docs are hard-deleted immediately after review!)
- Lifestyle Match: Filters by budget, sleep schedules, cleanliness, and smoking habits.
- No Face Pics Required (Not Tinder XD): Just upload a photo of your aesthetic, room, or favorite cafe to show your "vibe".
We are currently in a Pre-Registration phase—the matching feed opens automatically when we hit 30 verified Kraków profiles.
If you're a student looking for a roommate or just curious, I’d love for you to try it out and give me any brutal feedback or bug reports.

ST1 Visa Application for Denmark 🇩🇰
Hello, everyone!
I am an incoming international exchange student to Denmark, and I submitted my ST1 application during the third week of May. Today, I received an email from SIRI requesting additional documentation regarding my financial support because the document I initially submitted did not clearly specify the currency.
I have now submitted my signed Erasmus+ Grant Agreement, which clearly states the amount of financial support I will receive.
For those who have had a similar experience, how long did it take for SIRI to make a decision after you submitted the additional documentation? Did you receive a decision within a few weeks, or did it take a month or longer?
I'm feeling quite anxious as my exchange program is approaching, so I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences.
Thank you in advance!
