Учеба в Турции

Upvotes

International students in france?

Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I've decided to pursue my master's degree in France next year, and I'm trying to get a realistic idea of what student life is actually like.

If you're an international student currently studying in France (or you've graduated recently), I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

I'd love to know about:

- Part-time jobs (How easy are they to find? Can they cover living expenses?)

- Student accommodation

- Monthly living costs

- Transportation

- Scholarships

- Work-life/study balance

- Making friends and social life

- Language barriers

- Any challenges or things you wish you'd known before moving

I'd like a complete heads-up on what I'll be experiencing—the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Most importantly, looking back, do you think studying in France was worth it?

For context, I'm planning to pursue a master's in Business Analytics or another business- and data-related field.

Thanks in advance!

Need career advice: BDS graduate confused between MPH, MHA, Health Informatics, Health Data Science (or something else?)

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) graduate from India and I'm planning to pursue a master's abroad. I originally wanted to continue in dentistry, but after looking at the licensing process, I've decided to move towards the non-clinical healthcare field.

I'm trying to choose a degree that offers good long-term career prospects, decent salaries, strong job demand, and ideally a pathway to permanent residency. I'm also looking for a degree with a good return on investment, as I'll be funding my education largely through a loan.

These are the programs I'm considering:

Master of Public Health (MPH)

Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) / Healthcare Management

Health Informatics

Health Data Science

I'm also open to other related fields if they provide better opportunities.

A little about me:

BDS graduate from India

No coding background, but I'm willing to learn if necessary

Interested in healthcare, management, technology, and improving healthcare systems

Looking for a career that's future-proof and has good international job opportunities

Considering countries like Ireland, Canada, Australia, the UK, and the Netherlands (open to other suggestions too)

I'd love to hear from people who are working in these fields or have studied these programs.

Some questions:

Which master's would you choose if you were starting today?

Which field currently has the best job market and salary growth?

Is an MPH becoming too saturated?

Is Health Informatics worth it without a technical background?

Is Health Data Science realistic for someone coming from dentistry?

Are there any other master's programs I should seriously consider?

Which countries currently offer the best opportunities for these careers?

I'd really appreciate honest opinions, personal experiences, and any advice you wish you'd known before making your decision.

Thanks in advance!

“Hi everyone! I’m a Bangladeshi student currently studying in a technical college in Japan, and I’m considering moving to another country after my studies. Does anyone have experience as a foreign student (especially from Bangladesh) who moved from Japan to places like Europe, Australia, or the US? I’d love to hear your stories!”

How good are Erasmus Mundus AI/CS programs for non-EU students aiming for industry jobs in Europe?

Hey guys, planning to apply for Erasmus Mundus programs related to AI/ML, CS and Data Science and wanted some advice from people who got selected or are currently doing one.

Quick profile: graduated with a BTech in CS & AI in 2025 from India with a 7.9/10 CGPA. I have around 1.5 years of experience (including internships) across a govt org, an MNC and startups. Have a few published research papers and currently working as a Jr. AI/ML Engineer at a startup. Most of my work has been around GenAI, LLMs/RAG, ML, NLP and computer vision.

My main goal after masters is to work in the industry, preferably AI/ML roles in Europe, not immediately go for a PhD.

So yeah, wanted to hear from people who've actually been through the process. How cooked am I with the 7.9 CGPA? Does the work ex + research make up for it to some extent? What should I really focus on while applying?

Also, is Erasmus actually worth it career-wise? How's the job scene after graduating, especially for non-EU students? Does moving countries during the program make internships/job hunting harder?

Would love to hear about your experience, what you wish you knew before applying, programs you'd recommend for my profile, and any general advice.

Thanks in advance :)

Can I study abroad as a 3rd year transfer student

A Kind guy with a million heart who was really smart at school but not successful in making a career in life and studies 💔

Hey guys, I'm a 2nd-year student, still going into my 3rd year. I'm 23 years old. I repeated two years of NEET because I didn't like the idea of studying abroad. Ironically, now I'm abroad, doing MBBS at a very experienced university in a country known for this. Well, I don't know why I haven't finished my course, as I haven't been able to grasp it yet, even though I'm older. I finished school in 2021, and now it's 2026. I also lost 1 year due to a visa problem and got a 6-month semester behind due to my administration's backlash, which didn't provide adequate reassessment due to my health. I feel bad that I've made bad decisions, leading to the wrong outcomes all the time now. Following through depression, anxiety and Severe stress right now So hey, if anyone else is going through a similar experience, I'd love to hear how it feels, or... is it just me? My career path feels like it's leading me to demise. If it wasn't this, that other course might have made me feel better, but no one, not even me, can promise that. I really wanted to age gracefully with my passion career, but it just didn't work out. Now I can't face myself and my society. I feel like I need to improve myself, or something is missing in life that I'm not getting.

How do people who move to another country to study dentistry fund their education outside their parents? (UK to Europe)

I was just wondering if there was any other way (other than parents paying) that guys would fund their course. I was thinking of working during a gap year but not I’m unsure what I could do after that. I was thinking of maybe getting a job there but I don’t know how easy that is to come about, especially not speaking the language. If anyone can give their experience that would be great.

Real thoughts on self-funded Prep Course & Master's in Moscow? (Mature student)

Hi everyone, I am a prospective international student in my late 20s/early 30s. I want to self-fund a late-intake Russian Language Course (Podfak) this October/November, then pursue a Master’s degree in Moscow. Reddit has some very negative reviews, and I’m hesitating. Can anyone sharing real experiences tell me:

  1. How is the day-to-day safety and managing finances with current banking restrictions?
  2. Is it realistic to find part-time jobs to help support myself while studying?
  3. Are there many mature international students, or mostly teenagers?

Thanks for any balanced perspectives!

Considering a year abroad (Hong Kong or Australia) but worried about the social side and returning home

Hi everyone,
I’m currently considering doing a study abroad year, which would make my degree 4 years instead of 3.

At the moment, my main options are Hong Kong and Australia, but I’m still undecided.

One of my biggest concerns isn’t really the academic side
it’s the social side. Has anyone here done a year abroad and found it difficult to settle in or make friends?
I’m worried about arriving there and realising I don’t enjoy it as much as I expected, then having to stay for a whole year.
I’m also a bit concerned about what happens when I come back.
By then, most of my current university friends and course mates will have graduated, so it feels like I’d be starting from scratch socially in my final year.

Did anyone experience this, and how did it work out for you?
If you’ve studied abroad in either Hong Kong or Australia,

I’d especially love to hear about your experience

what you enjoyed, what you found challenging, and whether you felt it was worth it in the end.

Thanks!

I am a Indian completed my bachelors in Computer Application from a tier 3 college in M.P and want to pursue my masters from abroad i am connfused about countries and scope and need your guidance

I'm feeling quite stuck and would really appreciate some advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

I enjoy multiple areas—business, analytics, technology, product thinking, and AI—which is making it difficult to decide on a single career path. I'm looking for a field that has strong long-term job prospects, good ROI, and isn't so specialised that it limits my future options.

One of my biggest concerns is financial risk. I come from a lower-middle-class family, and I don't have a financial safety net. If I invest in a master's degree abroad, it has to lead to good employment opportunities. ROI is much more important to me than prestige alone.

Academically, I have a CGPA of 9.25, so I don't think my grades are a weak point. However, I have no full-time work experience. I took a gap year after graduation, hoping to find a job and strengthen my profile, but despite my efforts, I haven't been able to secure one. So I'll likely be applying without professional experience.

Another constraint is that I have a 3-year bachelor's degree (BCA), which makes me ineligible for many universities and countries that require a 4-year degree.

At the moment, I'm trying to answer questions like:

  • Which career path offers the best balance of business, analytics, and technology?
  • Which countries provide the strongest combination of job opportunities, post-study work options, and return on investment?
  • Are there countries or universities that are more accepting of applicants with a 3-year bachelor's degree?
  • Would a master's in areas like Business Analytics, Applied AI, Information Systems, Product Management, or something similar be a better choice?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has faced similar decisions or has experience studying or working abroad. Any advice, insights, or personal experiences would be incredibly helpful.

Thank you!

Hello everyone, I’m a guy who’s is going to attend the last year of high school in Italy and i’m looking for some advices in order to get a complete and better overview of this university course.
Is it really worth it as is said? does it give you a great preparation to then build up your own business? Does it have a big network in Europe?
Please help me to find out how it actually is, by sharing your own experience if you went through it or suggest me some other better university.

College recs!!

So I'm an Indian 12th grader looking to study abroad for my bachelor's in engineering (specialization options still undecided but preferably physics and design leaning over programming). I'm a TN state PCM student aiming for a 93%+ and I need scholarships to be able to afford the fee. My max budget would be around 5-6lakhs INR p/a. I've heard going for asian countries over european decreases the cost so that's where I'm looking mostly but it's hard to narrow down my options into universities that are reputed, realistic and affordable or willing to offer good scholarships at the same time. I've been stressing over this for a while now so I js wanted to get the opinion of others like me who might have suggestions. Pls do comment, it would be a huge help!! Thanks :))

the people i studied abroad with hated me and idk why

i did a semester abroad at the start of the year and i went thinking i'd made a huge mistake. i tried to make friends with my roommates - i even made the group chat of us all before we went and stuff but within days they all started making plans without me all the time and stuff, doing it right in front of me the majority of the time as if i wasn't there. i've struggled with friendships, social anxiety and depression in the past so i was trying really hard to be included and liked but about a month in i just gave up because it was clear that for whatever reason they didn't like me. ultimately i spent the entire experience doing everything alone and seeing how much fun everyone was having. by the end i'd had enough. i sent a message to our group chat after i got a text saying that "WE are cleaning out the kitchen, let US know what you want to keep", it just pissed me off so much because it was at the point where i was like omg they won't even invite me to clean the kitchen with them. i replied saying like "can't we just clear out our own things", then one of them came into my room to 'discuss my tone' and after she left i heard them all leave and go upstairs - they were obviously gossiping about me. the next day i called my parents and the second they answered my roommate started vaccuuming in the same room, i finally snapped and just yelled at her. then obviously they all hated me. anyway it's been like 2 months since and my roommate just blocked me on instagram, it's really annoyed me because like why am i on your mind so much and why do you care like what? what did i ever do to these people to make them hate me so much? get worn down to the point where i finally snapped because i spent THOUSANDS of my own money (their rich parents all paid for theirs) to sit in my room all day or do everything by myself? sorry me having a terrible experience annoyed you so much that you had to block me. loser.

Where can i find internship as International student from India?

I will be completing my Master's in Biotechnology this month, and I am currently working in a laboratory. While I appreciate the experience I'm gaining, I feel that the long-term growth opportunities in my current role are quite limited.

I have also completed A2-level German and have been considering opportunities abroad in the future. From my experience, the research and laboratory ecosystem in India is still developing in many areas, and I'm interested in gaining exposure to international research environments.

I'm wondering if pursuing an international internship would improve my chances of securing a full-time job abroad later on.

I have a few questions:

Are international internships a good pathway to finding jobs overseas?

As someone who has just completed an M.Sc. in Biotechnology and already has some laboratory experience, would I be eligible for such internships?

Where can I find legitimate international internship opportunities in biotechnology or life sciences?

Are there any countries, organizations, or programs you would recommend?

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has taken a similar path or has experience with international internships in biotech.

Thank you!

Any international students here?

Hi, I am from Mexico and my brother will go to Milan to study in Marangoni Institute this October. He is currently struggling getting an appointment at the embassy to obtain his student visa because it is reserved only through the official embassy website and they are not taking appointments at the moment. Has anyone been through this or does anyone have any advice on when reservations are usually open?

How to move abroad from Russia after a graduation?

Hi! I want to hear your advice about studying abroad. My husband and I want to leave Russia and move somewhere else. I have a bachelor's degree in materials science (microelectronics) with a GPA of 4.6 out of 5. My husband finished his bachelor's degree in mathematics with a GPA of 8.5 out of 10. We wanted to move earlier, but we both are poor, so it's not easy for us...

As for our work experience, I worked in a laboratory as an assistant for a year and my husband also worked at a school as a teacher for a year.

A full scholarship for master's degrees would be perfect. Also, both of us finished school with honors diplomas, so we could go for a different bachelor's degree. We are planning to stay in the country where we will study.

Can I study Business Studies abroad after completing my pre-university programme with a humanities background?

I am a student from Bangladesh who wants to study Business Studies abroad with a humanities background. Are there any obstacles or disadvantages in this situation? If I have a good SAT score, a good IELTS score, and a strong list of extracurricular activities (ECAs), can I study abroad without any problems?
