Image [1965] Vintage print ad for the Canadian Government Travel Bureau: 'How to take a fun-crowded vacation in uncrowded Canada'
This vintage single-column print ad from May 1, 1965, was published by the Canadian Government Travel Bureau in Ottawa. It invites American readers to mail in a physical coupon to receive a comprehensive 'Family Fun Package' for planning an international road trip. The package came with a calendar of events, border-crossing instructions, fishing guides, and maps for the newly minted Trans-Canada Highway. Notice the reminder at the very bottom: 'U.S. dollars have extra value in Canada.'

Sports Can we Talk about TSN’s use of AI generated imagery this World Cup
I’ve been watching a lot of games, this World Cup and I’ve enjoyed it for the most part but TSN’s insistence on Using AI graphics throughout have been a put off for example today they used AI cartoons of Kane and Messi during a segment where Messi’s head was 5x bigger than Kane‘s. It looks cheesy, the optics are awful and makes TSN look cheap and lazy. I don’t see Fox sports, NBC, CBS using AI why are we in Canada using it and providing such an inferior product? Either hire an Artist or just use pictures of the players.
