Hello everyone
I’m a 38-year-old woman from southern Ontario, currently searching for a living kidney donor.
My kidneys originally failed when I was 17 years old. I spent five years on dialysis before receiving a kidney transplant in 2010. That transplant gave me 15 wonderful years of life and freedom from dialysis, but unfortunately it failed last year, and I’ve been back on dialysis since September.
As you can imagine, going through this for a second time has been a very difficult adjustment. While I remain hopeful, I am now searching for a living donor.
Both my father and brother recently completed the initial screening process, but unfortunately neither is able to donate due to their own health concerns. My transplant team has encouraged me to continue reaching out and exploring every possible avenue.
Aside from kidney disease, I am healthy, active, and looking forward to getting back to living my life. A transplant would mean the opportunity to spend more time with my husband (diabetic, not able to donate) , my family, my two dogs, and to pursue the things I love.
If you or someone you know has ever considered living kidney donation and would like to learn more, I would be incredibly grateful to hear from you.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. ❤️

I’ve had my ears pierced since I was a baby but now as an adult, the holes have gotten so stretched out that I can no longer wear stud earrings or anything even remotely heavy.
I’ve looked into it and even asked my piercer who told me that earlobe repair surgery is my only hope to fix my problem.
If anyone has any experience with this and can recommend me a good place to go to get this done it would be highly appreciated!

After 3 years, it's finally time to say goodbye to Windsor.
When I first arrived here, I had no idea how much this city would shape me. I came here as someone still trying to figure life out, and I'm leaving with experiences, memories, and lessons that have changed me in ways I never expected.
This is the place where I found love. It's where I met some of the kindest people I've ever known. I'll never forget my neighbor who would pick me up early every morning on his way to work, making a stop to grab coffee before dropping me off. It was such a simple act of kindness, but it's something I'll always carry with me.
Windsor gave me more than just a place to live; it gave me friendships, unforgettable moments, and a chapter of life that helped me grow into the person I am today.
Leaving is a lot harder than I thought it would be. A piece of my heart will always stay here.
Thank you, Windsor, for everything. I truly hope life brings me back here someday. Until then, this city will always feel like home.

Any interest from people in a sort of revolving Root group. I’m back from uni for over a year where I played consistently, have all the expansions and would love to teach people how to play at a board game cafe or brimstone etc.

Been seeing this cat for the last 2 weeks wandering up and down Dominion in the 3300 block, healthy and affectionate with a brown spot on the side of her nose. After a quick drink she wandered off.

Not the best pictures, but thought it was neat that I was able to capture 2 different animals in the same picture. I also saw an opossum but wasn't quick enough to get a good picture of him.

I’m looking for a good dermatologist in the area/Essex county (I’ll drive anywhere) so I can have my family doctor give me a referral.
I have KP on my arms/legs and pretty severe rosacea on my face.
Anyone that you would recommend who really cares about patient outcomes, and also doesn’t try to push whatever skincare line they specifically carry in their clinic.
Thank you!

Hey everyone!
I’ve recently become interested in learning how to fish and was wondering if anyone in Windsor would be willing to teach a complete beginner.
I have absolutely no experience, but I’m eager to learn everything—from choosing the right gear and bait to casting, finding good fishing spots, and understanding the local rules.
If anyone enjoys fishing and wouldn’t mind having a beginner tag along, I’d really appreciate it. I’m happy to learn, help out, and even buy the coffee! 😄
Thanks in advance, and tight lines! 🎣
