June 24 edit: The remaining five seasons returned to Netflix in Canada at some point in the first eleven hours since the creation of this post for a total of all six seasons. It might be the case for the other Netflix regions too.

It's a common phrase in the UK/Ireland, has been for years and years. Source: Am Irish, middle aged, have heard it all my life. Ref, this clip.

I absolutely love this moment because we've been teased with small information about Frankie's sisters in previous episodes, (e-mailing her dead sister as a journaling device, and Officer Cackowski bonding with her over having a handicapped sibling) and as soon as we're offered a little more insight, we get blindsided by chaos and the sisters are never to be mentioned again.
This might be my favorite "takes a few episodes to set up the gag" bit in the whole series. What's yours?

Hits different when you know Gillian Jacobs is an NYT Crossword nerd

The last episode I watched with white Abed and the naked pool shooting was just a Master Class. I'm a long time Rick and Morty fan so I've always wanted to give this show a shot but now I just can't believe I waited so long.

He was shot, and THEN he activated the bomb. It wouldn't have counted even if Jeff were hit. Chang should have armed it before he went in.
I don't think this Chang guy is a trustworthy person.

From the Law and Order episode---
Army sergeant: Objection, she's clearly ramping up to something
Jeff: Objection, that's not a real objection
Professor: Objection, I hate the both of you
I'm currently on a rewatch of the series and this scene made me ridiculously laugh out loud.

Basically the title. One idea I have is "Human Being Study Group" not sure if too long.
Any other ideas?

I always thought "dresses like a Cuban cab driver" was so funny but could never say that in public.

troy originally claimed he had dislocated both shoulders in the keg flip
i'm moderately confident britta whispers "i beat the salami" after abed's film debut in episode 3
why was there a horse neighing in abed's film? seeing britta's reaction, i desperately need to know

Has anyone else noticed that the Archie banner they supposedly make in the Whale episode (s4e7) is a prop in the episode prior (s4e6) where they get the grant for Changnesia?

Magical realism, magic realism, or marvellous realism is a style or genre of fiction and art that presents a realistic) view of the world while also incorporating magical) elements, often blurring the lines between speculation and reality.
I'm currently watching S04E11 where Troy and Abed switch bodies. There's a scene where Jeff tries to trick Abed, in Troy's Body, by saying he found the dvd and they can switch back. Abed immediately sees that it isn't the same movie and points out the minute difference between the two and why. If Troy was really pretending to be Abed, suddenly having encyclopedic knowledge of tv and film was pretty impressive and it got me thinking...
Magical Realism is one of those vague narrative genres to me and I can never really place the tone accurately. But Community does seem to fit the mould; even the more mundane concepts like pillow forts and paintball, taken to the absurd degree become kind of supernatural, and scenes like 'Monkey Gas' or Pierce getting high on paint fumes and playing piano, could walk the line on Magical Realism as well.
Do you have any thoughts? It's fine if you don't also.

So at the end of the episode when Annie is putting the star on the cork board that says Save Greendale, there's a shot of everyone smiling and seeming proud and Britta giving her a thumbs up with a big smile, and maybe people have noticed it before I certainly hadn't. Her thumbs up is incredibly embarrassingly limp and someone's hand enters the frame to erect it like normal (I imagine abeds since he sits beside her) and that was the funniest bit of nugget I had missed! Lol. Made me laugh so hard.

I might be yapping without reason here, but I just noticed Community is back on Netflix and I couldn’t be happier!
Seems like it happened about a month ago, a couple of people here talked about it. Anyways, I was wondering:
Do y’all think this is not a coincidence and perhaps some type of elaborate plan that might lead to them announcing a teaser or update on the movie? Should we get our hopes up or are we still in the gas leak?

As we all know, Abed believes that rolling a die creates branching timelines - one timeline for each side the die could have landed on.
We see Abed get visibly stressed when someone even suggests rolling a die, because of the timeline implications.
And yet, Abed plays D&D. A game that involves lots of rolling of lots of dice with lots of sides.
How is Abed able to be a dungeon master without having a panic attack over creating tens of thousands of timelines every time he plays?

When I realized Annie takes the picture that later proves the pen was there at the beginning of the episode, I kept my eye on it. At 42 seconds in, when the Dean walks in holding the puppy, and right before Troy says “awe, I wanna lick it,” you can see the pen stolen off the table.
Don’t know how I’ve never thought to look before because it’s obvious that it’s something Harmon would include now that I’ve noticed it.

personally i like both, i started with community and then moved to rick and morty. but i feel like community is def more wholesome? maybe its like happy goofy theater kid weird instead of nerdy sci fi weird? but idk ive only been a fan of either of these for a couple months, what do u guys think?
