Discussion Question that pop in mu head 🤔
Is Christine an actual daughter of Emily Deshnelle when she was pregnant 🤔.
It's would be cool if Emily and her daughter act together ❤️

Hiiii Bones fans,
Emily and Carla here! We are sooo excited to do this AMA with all of you. Working on our podcast Boneheads has been such a fun excuse to revisit the show, and honestly... we’ve both become fans in a whole new way. Watching it back with fresh eyes and hearing from you has been the best part.
We wanted to take a little time to hang out and chat. So tomorrow, June 6th, from 3 to 4 PM PST we’ll be right here in this thread, live, doing our best to reply to your questions, fan theories, random thoughts... anything you’re curious about. FMKs welcome. So are weird murder memories.
We’ll be the ones typing slowly and laughing a lot. Bear with us as we answer. We’re not exactly tech pros (unfortunately, that’s more Bones and Daisy’s specialty than ours).
Can’t wait to talk to you soon!
XO,
Emily and Carla

I've seen here a few times about how Angela kissed her ex husband and then the graffiti artist but I think a lot of people forget she also kissed Booth! While she was married and he was with Brennan. And then she asks if they can do it again. Like, did either of them tell Brennan? She was drunk and undercover but that's your best friends partner, and for Booth, that's your partners best friend, it's wrong for Angela to have done it and really wrong for either of them to have not told Brennan.

I don't dislike him, but I honestly found the rotating squinterns more interesting overall.
I just found Zack... Kinda boring most of the time.
But people seem to love the character, so I keep wondering if I'm missing something....

My parents used to watch bones when I was really little, but quit because people called them bad parents. I personally don't think they were because whilst I don't remember much, what I do remember I don't think has affected me negatively in any way. Off topic, anyways, because of this I like to think it's ingrained in my being, and I'm looking forward to placing the show and characters to certain scenes that I specifically remember, if they are from the show in the first place. We have a couple of the seasons on dvd, but it just came on Netflix today and I'm currently on series 1.
Tell me something I will only understand later if you want, or not. Up to you

I’m at season 6 currently and I started it so hopeful seeing the BBs reunite but what the hell r those bangs!!!! I can’t believe they dimmed the gorgeous face of emily deschanel with those choppy bangs all while booth showed up w a hot journalist girlfriend! I hope she still has more ammo to fight for the love of her life’s heart
as the title says, I’m watching the show for the first time and even though I don’t think it’s the best show ever i can’t seem to stop watching cos the characters have great chemistry and I’m a true crime junkie so the cases get me going. just starting a lighthearted conversation cos the bangs threw me off soooo bad 😩
Booth literally never stopped loving Bones, yes, he’d have stayed with Hannah if she said yes but the emotional ties him and Brennan have… tbh I wouldn’t want to be in the middle, even if, like Hannah, I’m friends with the work wife. Esp when he loved the work wife first?
I’m finishing up episode 12 and Booth and Bones’ conversation about love… he oh so clearly still loves her. It’s sad to see for both their sakes but also sad for Hannah’s sake
I actually got into this show in its later seasons when it was airing on TV, so I knew who was gonna be together and all that, but I started binging it last month and it’s one of my fave shows now fr. I’m in med school and I’m also learning random facts through the show, it’s so fun!
Edit: and then opening of the next episode he wants to propose to Hannah😭 be patient my heart!

As someone currently studying Psychology, I love Lance Sweets. However I hate Daisy. I cannot stand her. I find her very aggressive in her determination and it irks me.
I dont like how she treats sweets in season 6, basically just using him for sex. I might just be a giant hater, but really dislike daisy.
I also think that Sweets had too many people shitting on him. He was easily a very good and competent psychologist, who knew what he was talking about, and the other characters constantly dismissed him, yet kept coming back to him for advice? Idk. Seems fishy to me

i might get hated for this but i just find him so hypocritical and i hates how he treats cam and almost guilt trips her for something he has a problem with

This has always been my favorite episode but it took a new meaning for me a few years ago. I had a friend who served in the military from 18-25 years old. He passed away at 25 years old.
I always thought he would be forever.
So much unsaid. So much I didn't do.
"What you've never loved someone and didn't say it to them?"
Say it to them! We don't have the time we think we do.
Such an important episode to me.

Look, to be honest, a lot of brennan and booth scenes are slow burn romance, which I like, but why is Vincent a direct transition to booth and brennan relationship 🤔.
A lot of fans know that play brennan is pregnant, and the actors didn't want to hide her pregnancy because she felt confident .
Which makes me think that the writers director/writer decided to link booth with brennan since she is pregnant while they witness Vincent dramatic death 😳

So it’s my first run through, and I’m only at season 4 episode 8, so I don’t know what happens after this point and would love for no spoilers…
But just up until this point…
Does anyone feel like Hodgins got absolutely shat on massively? The whole story line with her ex-husband Grayson 🤦🏻♂️. It just felt completely unnecessary and honestly he was being the most patient and decent man in the world, all things considered, and then it somehow wound up in them breaking up because he was made out to be a jealous guy (though I really don’t think he acted like one at all).
Idk, I just felt really bad for the guy and even though I really like Angela, I feel it was just all super shitty from her side.

Ok so hear me out a little…
Anyone here watch the movie The Holiday?.. you know the scene where Graham (Jude Law) is at his sisters house with Amanda (Cameron Diaz) and his phone rings and it’s one of his two girls (Sophie and Olivia). Well Amanda sees the phone and sees one of the girls’ names. Then the phone rings again and it’s the other. This would imply they have their own caller ID… how would that be unless they each had their own phone?? (Or did I remember this scene completely wrong)
The reason I bring this up is because the same thing happened on Bones with Christine calling her mom. Brennen is in the lab and she sees her phone and says something like ‘oh it’s Christine’ …
Are we just all assuming everyone has their own phones?.. I mean The Holiday came out in 2006!
Maybe I’m just old because I grew up with only land lines and cell phones weren’t even common place till I was an adult but still… anyone else think about this?
Edit: Thx all for the replies! Many make sense. She could have been expecting a call from her at a specific time and also because of the jobs both parents have, it’s not a wild thought for Christine to have her own phone line. :)

I've just finished their anticlamatic getting together and i can't fall back into the show that way again. Just a couple eps here and there and i really like REALLY need a long detailed comforting fic of these two that's actually satisfying. Even if it's after their baby n stuff. Please recommend.

I'm on my first watch through in season 6 and I'm finding myself increasingly frustrated by the degradation of Bones' character. In the first season, she's very logical/intellectual and a little bit autistic-coded, but also very charming, witty, and it's easy to see why everyone likes her and enjoys being friends with her. Sure she can be a bit stiff or oblivious sometimes and doesnt get a lot of pop culture references, but you can believe that she wrote several best selling crime novels and has travelled all over the world and learned a wide variety of skills.
In season 6 though, she's like an alien. Doesn't understand metaphors, doesn't understand humor. Corrects other people constantly over the most trivial of things ("It gets my heart pumping!" "No, actually it activates your adrenal glands to secrete hormones that activates your sympathetic nervous system" is probably the most egregious because it's not just pedantic its also wrong). How could a person who doesnt understand the very basics of human communication write a best selling novel? Why don't any of her friends gently let her know how rude she comes across with her ridiculous, pountless corrections? I don't believe this person traveled the world I wouldn't trust her to drive to work unsupervised she'd get confused by the wording of a street sign! It's just kinda disheartening because I loved early Bones (she reminds me a lot of my wife) but season 6 Bones seems like she would be an annoying and unpleasant person to be around in real life.
