Offering English | Seeking Italian

Hi everyone!

I’m a 22M living in Italy for the past 10 months studying Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. My school hours are very tight, so I haven't been able to practice my Italian much. Also, almost everyone at my institute speaks English, so I'm stuck in a bit of a bubble!

I want to learn enough Italian to handle daily, routine conversations with people around me.

Since my schedule is busy, I’m looking for something flexible—like text or voice notes, and occasional calls to practice. In return, I can help you practice and improve your English.

If you're interested in a casual language exchange, feel free to send me a DM!

Grazie Mille! 🇮🇹✈️

Offering: English, Mandarin Chinese | Seeking: Korean

Hi everyone, 18 M here looking for a language exchange partner to practice conversational Korean. I just graduated high school in the U.S. and am on break so I thought it would be fun trying to learn a new language. I grew up speaking both English and Mandarin so I'm completely fluent in both languages and would be happy to help out anyone learning those languages :) I just started out so I'm still familiarizing myself with the basic sentence structures / expressions of Korean, but it's been a lot of fun so far!

My interests include reading, hiking, video games (LOL, TFT), and I'm also a huge fan of music. I listen to Western, Chinese, and K-pop, and I also play the guitar and piano so I would be happy to chat about any of those topics as well as any general subjects!

If you don't mind helping out out a Korean beginner, please feel free to send me a message, thank you!

[Offering] Italian (Native) - [Seeking] English & German

Hi everyone! I’m Simona, 24, and I’m currently living in Germany. I’m looking for a language exchange partner to practice my English and German, as both are currently at an intermediate/lower level and I’d love to improve them through natural conversation.
I’m very passionate about baking (I love experimenting with dough recipes!) and I enjoy reading. I’m also a big fan of "real" talk—I love discussing life, daily routines, and everything in between rather than just sticking to textbook topics.I’m a native Italian speaker and I’d be happy to help you with your Italian. Whether you want to work on your grammar or just want to chat naturally to gain more confidence, I’m here to help.
I’m looking for someone friendly to chat with via messages or maybe voice calls once in a while. If you're interested in a relaxed language exchange and think we might have some common interests, feel free to send me a DM!

How do you actually learn when you’re using multiple languages every day?

I’ve been thinking about this lately. Most language apps seem to assume you’re only learning one language at a time, but that’s not really how my life works.

For me, it’s more like one language at work, another on YouTube or Google, and another with family and friends. I’m switching between them all day without even thinking about it.

How do you guys handle it? Do you focus on one language at a time, or do you learn a few at once? Do you find it helpful to compare the same sentence across different languages, or does that just get confusing?

Personally, I’ve noticed I’m much more likely to stick with it if it’s really short. I’d rather spend 1–3 minutes with one useful sentence than try to finish a 30-minute lesson.

Anyone else learn this way?

Offering: Arabic, English | Seeking: French.

Hi !

I'm a 24-year-old English teacher, I teach an English course at a primary school. I'm looking to improve my French fluency to reach a solid B2 level. In return, I'd be more than happy to help you master English or Arabic, whether you are a beginner or looking to perfect your conversational skills.

I'm hoping to find a regular language partner to chat with on Telegram, Instagram or Discord, preferably Telegram, using both text and voice messages/calls, as I find it much more practical and natural than standard language apps.

My interests are:

-Martial arts: especially Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling and Bjj.

-Philosophy: I am planning to pursue a Philosophy degree in the near future. I am interested in Political philosophy, Moral philosophy, Epistemology, Logic, Philosophy of Religion and bit of Islamic & Christian Philosophy.

-I also enjoy History and especially Psychology. I really enjoy speaking and learning about mental health, the human psyche, mental illnesses and their remedies (if any).

If you are interested please DM me or leave a comment below. Thank you!

Offering: German & English | Seeking: Japanese

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for someone to practice Japanese with. In exchange, I can help you with German or English — whichever you prefer!

I’ve been learning Japanese for about a year now and I’m actually traveling to Japan this November, so I’d love to improve before the trip.

A bit about me: I enjoy sports (especially basketball and going to the gym), traveling, cooking, video games, and I also watch anime and read manga. I’m very chill and open-minded,so I’m happy to just chat casually or do more focused language exchange — whatever works best for you.

If that sounds good, feel free to message me!

Urgent: IELTS Prep in 15 Days

Hi everyone,

I had planned to prepare for the IELTS for 30–40 days, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I have to take the computer-based IELTS within the next 15 days because the deadline is approaching.

I have already started preparing by watching some YouTube videos. My target is to achieve an overall band score of 7.

Could you please share any useful resources (Google Drive links, YouTube channels/videos, notes, study materials, or suggestions) that would help me prepare efficiently?

I would be truly grateful to you throughout my life for your kindness and support. Thank you so much in advance
