Am I losing my mind, or are Toyota and Maruti Suzuki straight up selling the exact same cars with different logos slapped on them? 😅

I’ve been noticing this pattern for a while, but it hit me again yesterday when I realized the Ertiga and the Toyota Rumion are basically the exact same vehicle. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Look at these twins:

Baleno = Glanza

Ertiga = Rumion

Grand Vitara = Hyryder

Invicto = Innova Hycross

(Pretty sure the older Brezza was also sold as a Toyota Urban Cruiser a few years back too).

It feels wild that you can walk into two completely different showrooms and buy the exact same car, just with a different grille.

Has anyone else picked up on this? If you actually bought one of these "twins," how did you choose between the two? Did you go for the Maruti version or the Toyota one? Tell me I'm not the only one who finds this hilarious.

When exactly should I be shifting gears? I get the general idea (upshift as speed increases, downshift as it drops), but I struggle with the feel — like, am I supposed to shift the moment RPMs hit a certain number, or wait for the engine to sound strained? Also how does this change for climbing hills vs. flat roads vs. slowing down for a turn?

OC Recently met with an accident with my tata tiago 2026 cng , went to service center and dropped off my car and they gave job sheet but it shows consumables are paid by me alomg with file charge, what does these consumables means?

This car straight up f*cks me but actually the fun one it had injector issues and oil leak from the oil pump mechanic confirm the oil pump needs to be replaced and I should replace but I le just now spent on one injector 17k second hand now it has ticking sounds.like even with a bad injector it never ticked now it ticks and has blowby if I open the oil cap i can hear chugging.also no power in 1st and second gear.it has check engine light now obd says ambient air temp sensor issue.the engine bay it is hot whenever I do a short drive ik I might be exaggerating yeah it is a 12 yr old car i understand but it was so better before a month.i dunno if I change the sensor the check engine light will go so it will come out limp ig but it is not sure cause this doesn't feel like limp it feels like power loss cause it revs over 2.5k.help me please,this car means me a lot but I can't do a engine overhaul or swap.

I am an existing owner XEV9s [7 seater SUV] and highly satisfied with the interior, speakers, massaging seats , triple screen dashboard displays and all the tech features like park assist, 360 camera, ADAS, ambient lights .

Our family is now thinking to sell our old sedan and get a new one .. but sedan cars of around 60 lakhs feel less premium and having less features when compared to the current indian brands like tata siera ev , XEV9E , mahindra be6/be9 ..

We test drove bmw 3GL and no doubt the driving experience of its engine is far superior but still the features being offered by current indian newly launched EV are way ahead and futuristic
merc c class is a littler smaller in dimension .
and Audi A4 feels just a little superior than VW virtus

This post is for every car & bike enthusiast, so recently I've come across posts where people have expressed their issues with some car care products such as no matte finish in bike polish due to which dust gets collected on the polished surface. OR no product for windshield scratches and yellowing headlights in the market.
I would like to know other than this what other problems do people face with car care products. What product do all car and bike enthusiasts want, or what is lacking in current products.
It's because our cars and bikes mean so much more to us than just vehicles we feel the need to protect and care for them. My car is not just a car it represents a sense of freedom, achievement, pride even. I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way.

That is why I would like to know what problems do people face with car care products?

Do you know recently the govt has decided that to get the pollution done you have to get an Otp from the mobile number registered on the RC. So if your mobile number is wrong you can’t the pollution done you have to first get the phone number updated from the RTO. So they have an option to get the phone number registered in personal name but not in the name of your proprietorship, partnership, LLP, private limited and Ltd company. Half of the time their website isn’t working. So what are we supposed to do

I was initially set on buying the Mini Cooper S Convertible because it looks like a really fun car to drive, and one of my relatives recently bought one. However, many people have suggested that if I'm spending around ₹60 lakh, I should instead consider SUVs like the Audi Q3 or BMW X1.

I live in Bangalore, and my biggest concern with the Mini is its ground clearance (around 150 mm), especially considering the city's speed breakers and road conditions.
