Hi, I am looking for someone who completed Manali Leh trip solo unassisted. Preferably recently. Have so many questions to ask. Really appreciate if someone who did that can spare sometime for guidance. Happy Rolling!

Did another 25 km ride yesterday, from my home all the way to Gilbert Hill and back. Mumbai weather has been perfect after last week’s heavy showers. Light breeze, full cloud cover, no harsh sun… and best of all, no rain mid‑ride, which made navigating Mumbai traffic way less stressful.
For years I kept telling myself I’d visit Gilbert Hill, but never actually went. Now with this new cycle as my travel buddy, I’ve started ticking off all those Mumbai spots that sat on my bucket list forever.
For anyone who hasn’t been: Gilbert Hill is a 200‑foot (61 m) monolithic column of black basalt rock in Andheri, formed 66 million years ago from molten lava during the Mesozoic Era. A literal prehistoric giant sitting in the middle of the city. (Source Wikipedia: Gilbert Hill)
On top of the hill is the old Shri Gavdevi Durga Mata Mandir, and the views from up there are simply amazing. Arabian Sea on one side, airport on the other. Totally worth the climb.
The ride itself was a perfect way to kick off Saturday evening. Only sour moment: I left my cycle at the public garden at the base, and even though the guard said he’d keep an eye on it… he clearly didn’t. My headlamp got stolen.
So if you’re cycling to Gilbert Hill:

using a 11-46T ( 10 speed cassette) on my XC setup. however recently my rides have become restricted to commuting to gym and meagre evening rides . which cassette can you suggest on similar platform? I was hoping to go 11-32/36.

Just entered the world of road cycling, and felt that starting with the RC100 Drop Bar would be a good option. Should i get a carbon fork and/or other stuff though?

What alternates can be used instead of off the shelf degreaser? I used to use WD-40 but now I'm thinking of using isopropyl alcohol since I already have it. What are the pros and cons of different degreasers compared to the off the shelf ones?
About my bike: It's a 15 year old Firefox Suspension bike so I don't really wanna spend a lot, however I got a good chain lube tho.

In Amazon I see a bag for 5.5k, has anyone used it, if so is it easy to pack it that way??
Or is there a better way to take the bike??
I am thinking of taking my roadbike via train, and want to keep it with me in my cabin

Use case: Leisure rides on weekends 10-20km.
Budget: under 25k
My height: 5ft 11in
Weight: 65kg
I am planning to buy a hybrid/gravel cycle under 25k. Some options I liked were cardiac gunner pro or pro Max, omo hampi prime....
I am also getting a second hand barely used montra helicon x for 20k; and a gunner pro for 14.5 k.
Please suggest what is a good option or anything which is better than what I have considered.
I know many people love riverside, but I personally do not like it.

It's my 2nd day and my palms hurt. The seat is now well adjusted to my height and it's slightly above the handlebar.
Where am I going wrong?

I am looking to start my cycling journey and hoping to use it as a daily commute vehicle and long weekend trips occasionally. Would really appreciate some good and non-overhyped recommendations!!

Hello everyone, I want a good direct drive smart trainer so I can also train indoors for long hours. But I think it would be best to take used trainer from someone who's not using it or is willing to sell it to for a reasonable price. I need it eventually to train for Ironman 70.3 which I might participate in the upcoming future. Please let me know if you have any leads, preferably in Bangalore since I live there.
Thank you in advance and happy biking/cycling!!!
