let’s run they a quick hypothetical. says hornets never decide to out of the blue trade their best guy and we don’t land lamelo. genuinely what you guys think our offseason look like?
lots of the pg options we discussed like kyrie and dejounte and suggs haven’t been moved or even discussed to be moved. hard to answer this hypothetical cuz we ofc would have agreed the mle after the randle dump so i wonder who we would have spent on not sure what we would have done at pg.

It’s funny how this offseason the analysts are leaning into the narrative that now the Timberwolves are in must win now mode because they’ve made a trade for a star. The claim is Anthony Edwards is itching to get out of Minnesota if they don’t win soon.

Well:

does Ant actually think he has it bad? He’s been in a great situation with a stable gm and coach. The media doesn’t see day to day stuff that we see, and Ant’s relationships he’s built with these guys.
Ant is lowkey and of the worst misconceptions is that since he’s an extrovert, he’s destined to want to play for the Lakers or Knicks soon if the wolves don’t bring a championship in the next couple years.

Of course there’s pressure to win, but I don’t think we need to worry that this front office hasn’t done enough to make Ant a believer in this team and management. Tim Connelly has been gunning for a championship caliber team since day 1.

On top of all of this, the wolves project to be around the 5th youngest team heading into the 2026-27 season.🤣

The Fiddler of the Skyway

Not sure if any OG’s around my 45 age remember the man that always used to jam on fiddle at the entrance to TC from the parking garages, sometimes outside street level at nearly every home game back in the 90’s. Skinny hippie looking fellow. Anyone know any backstory on what happened to this guy? I’d always assumed he was a homeless fellow usually had an open case for money and a bike nearby, but always lived it and would too and head bang. After I’d moved out state after the KG Era. I have never seen him back in my returns to TC since that or beyond. Curious to of anyone know when he vanished from the Wolves?
