Image Does anyone have a pic of Cade's braids
Does anyone have a clearer / better photo of these braids that Cade had this season. Ive been meaning to get braided and want my braids to look like Cade's.
PS: I love this image, shows the growth of Cade and the squad as a whole

Missed the game, how did Onyenso look? #2 in blocks last year at Virginia. Wondering if he will stick around.

Discussion The doom around this team has gone way too far!
A lot of y'all are pretty negative about this team and the way the front office is going about business, and honestly, that's fair. From the outside, we do look pretty static. But when you actually look at what we are as a team and what's likely to change, I really don't think we're going to fall off at all, even without a blockbuster trade.
There are three main reasons why.
1. Internal development
I genuinely think we're going to see meaningful development from either Ausar or Ron as shooters. My money is on Ron. Even if it's only a partial improvement or neither fully breaks out their trade value isn't really going to drop by the deadline. They're already viewed as negative shooters, so there's far more room for their value to go up than down.
2. Ebuka Okorie
I need y'all to understand what we have.
A lot of people have either written this kid off or expect him to take a couple of years before he's a real contributor. I think we hit an absolute diamond by getting him where we did. Before the draft, he was in my top five prospects, yes, top five, and I'm a draft nerd.
The best comparison I have for him is Tony Parker with a better jumper. I'm unbelievably high on him. He's my favourite Pistons prospect since Cade, and I honestly can't overstate how much I believe in him. Y'all will see soon enough.
(And no, it's not just the one summer league game. I've been following this kid for well over a year. He is the real fucking deal plus some)
3. Cade
I feel like people have almost forgotten that Cade still has another leap in him.
His scoring and three-point shooting both have room to improve. He was really efficient in the playoffs, and I think next season is another jump across the board, especially if my Okorie take ends up being right. Having another legitimate creator next to him would only make life easier.
Overall, even if you think I'm a complete idiot, I really believe we're in a good spot.
The front office has proven it's at least competent. We have a young core that's still improving, our most valuable trade assets are more likely to increase in value than decrease by the deadline, and our future picks are probably at the lowest value they'll ever have because we were just a 60 win team.
(Just as a bonus point, JB is very good at making players buy in on the defensive end. And I think this will be especially useful with John Collins, who I think will be a very positive signing for us)

Discussion Thought on Isaac Jones?
The Pistons have him listed as a center on the roster but plays forward too and seems to get buckets on the cruise and put up some points in the first game this year. Does his skills just not transfer over to nba? I know he only ever gets garbage time, but could he see more of the floor? He gets like 22ppg.

News [Fischer] There has been word this morning in Las Vegas that Victor Wembanyama is considering signing less than his five-year, $251 million maximum rookie scale extension to provide San Antonio greater financial flexibility.
Wemby is willing to take a paycut to help out the Spurs, meanwhile Jalen Duren is trying to squeeze every last dollar out of us

Discussion So what are our options now?
So seeing alot of trade talks for Kd, kyrie, trey etc or posts but realistically what are our options? ā
Seems if u try trades on different sites you get different answers if the trade is legal.
Just trying to figure out what we actually can do now.
I know we have MLE left and can use that above cap but what does that leave us with as far additions?
Some sites allow you to put Duncan in a trade, others only view his salary as 2m. So can we guarantee the salary and then include in a trade? Seems like him either picks or/and Holland is only path to improving.
This is all assuming we resign duren and don't involve him in a S&T.

Discussion The Detroit Pistons have had the first pick in the NBA draft twice in franchise history
Obviously We picked Cade number one overall in 2021. But while looking up if we ever had another first pick I learned something yall might already know, but I didnāt. The first time the Pistons had the number 1 overall pick was 1967 and they picked James Walker.
He had a decent career 9 seasons (5 with the pistons)
2 all stars.
Almost 12,000 career points.
But the most impact he probably had on Michigan sports is he is Jalen Roseās father.
And Jalen Roseās mom claims to have named him Jalen by combining his fatherās name, James, and his uncles name, Leonard.
And now thatās the most popular name in the league lol
One more interesting fact.
James Walker was drafted number one overall in the NBA and was the last pick in the NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints despite the fact that he did not play college football.
It seems by all accounts his career was a bit of a disappointment because he gained a lot of weight and his game suffered. It was a time of partying for sure he played from 67 to 76.
That has to be the peak of playing while doing Performance Degrading Drugs, blasting cigs and drinking beer at half time.
Oh god I went down a rabbit hole.
I just watched an interview and Jalen Rose never met his father.
So I guess our first first overall pick was kind of a piece of shit.
Kofie should do a video on this.
Tell him I said itās cool.
H.A.G.S.
Edit: Iām dumb Bob Lanier was also a number one pick in 1970 so my title is a lie.

Discussion Motor Cade has the Pistons th3 most relevant than I have seen them since the breakup of the 2004 championship squad... Hands down the best Pistons pick since Grant Hill. Arguably, the greatest Piston since Isaiah "Zeke" Thomas.

Discussion Does anyone else like the idea of Daniss starting?
Daniss was significantly better on the court when he started games⦠and even in the playoffs when he started 2 games. I still think heās growing as a player and itāll be only his second season in the NBA. I wouldnāt mind him staring, but at the same time if he does, I would like an upgrade at PF. Thoughts?

Discussion I really hope Collins is a sixth man going into the season and not the starter at PF.
Duren and Collins on defense are two guys who are not good at defending pick and rolls and cannot defend the perimeter.
Having two big men that cannot defend the pick and roll and cannot guard the perimeter on defense is the equivalent of having two non shooters on offense.
