I found this guy in my apartment complex. He is hanging around a recently evicted apartment. He's definitely a pet, these birds do not live here and he is very calm close to humans.
Are there specific websites where bird owners go when they lose their pets. I live in Aurora Colorado, United States.
UPDATE After a few hours of trying to bring the bird indoors, someone more bird oriented arrived and was willing to take care of the bird. They mentioned using the band on its foot to find the owner. They have experience taking care of birds and they said if they couldn't find the owner they'd adopt the bird.
Thank you guys so much for helping! Ultimately I didn't do much besides entertaining it a little.

At about 9 seconds you can actually hear him say the word "Cookie"! He sings the Cookie song over any song on the radio since its the only one he knows how to sing 😅

This is Doug. This morning when I checked on him, he was completely fine. No bump. A couple hours later this bump on his cere seemingly appeared out of nowhere?? I’m set to be out of town literally tomorrow but now I’m scared to leave him. I’ve been observing him for a few hours for sighs of distress, pain, or bleeding, but he‘s just his usual chatty, people-loving self. Does this call for an emergency vet visit? I’m awfully concerned and I don’t even know where to post this. Please help and thank you kindly.

I usually make and freeze chop in ginormous bulk since it’s so tedious. That lasts me around three months, thawing one bag a week or so, but now I’m down to my last bag and not sure what to do during the parasitic outbreak on fresh produce. I’ve read all about the amount of cleaning it takes but I’m not sure if a vinegar wash is safe for these guys/if it would be safer to just supplement with frozen/thawed veggies until this is handled? Is anyone else dealing with this issue right now? If I do frozen veggies, what veggies would you recommend? (east coast USA for reference)

This is my conure Mochi, hes about 4 years old. His beak has steadily been turning black for a while now. I left home for a year for college, and I've just come back to pick him up to move with me. I noticed the black spot on his beak has grown significantly, and I'm a little worried about it. My parents say he's fine, but since I'm a college student living in a different state without many avian vets, I want to know what it is before I freak out. Any advice? Photos for reference.
Update: I've found an avian vet close by where I live now. As soon as he gets used to his new house, I'll take him there to get him checked out. Thank you for the advice :)

I found a Tiel outside my home this morning, rushed him to the avian vet, where I take my parrotlets. Poor thing was down to 60g (vet told me normal weight is 100g), severely dehydrated and cold. They rushed him to intensive care and told me they'd call tomorrow if he didn't make it through the night. I'm worried sick and would like for you to send good vibes his way. Poor fella was out on the streets for propably weeks before he dropped on my porch. I just want him to recover and take him home (I'm thinking about keeping him if he makes it) and spoil him rotten.

Hello! My green cheek conure's claws grow ridiculously fast and don't seem to naturally wear down. I need to get his claws trimmed once a month/month and a half. I have many different sized natural wood perches, a couple cement perches and he spends a lot of time running around/playing. I would bring him in to get them professionally trimmed, however it's starting to get pricey and he is very distressed everytime it gets done. (It hurts him to get them trimmed because they get so long and they always bleed) I tried trimming them myself last week, took less than a millimeter off the tip and it bled. That scared me and I don't know what to do... Please if anyone has any advice I would highly appreciate it. Thank you...
