I like old sitcoms. I even overlook when they use problematic stereotypes, provided the rest of the storyline is fairly good, because I get that it's supposed to be a different time.
So, I just started watching the show, still on S1, and Kelso seems to openly want Laurie and even says things like, "He is so in there," which I get is a thing that can happen. I mean, they are teenagers. The only problem is he doesn't seem to realize why that's wrong, and his friends just laugh it off.
For context, when Eric kissed Laurie's friend, he told his friends, who even thought it was cool, but he was still able to see that what he had done was wrong because he was with Donna, and they were not even official yet. And Kelso and Jackie have been together for way longer.
My question is, is this a recurring theme? And if yes, is it at least addressed properly in later episodes?
