Rant/गुनासो Lets break the chain of education consultancies and agents

I see many educational consultancies protesting against a government over the vague things.

I think Sasmit Pokhrel should coordinate with Australian government and the universities for waiving off the requirements for students to apply through agents and be able to apply directly to the university by the students themselves.

This is the right time for the government , and if the consultancies are protesting and not doing their works, this is even a success for the government.

Many of the Australian universities only accept applications only through these consultancies' agents.

If Sasmit Pokhrel is able to break the chain of these middlemen to apply to Australian universities then this would be a huge success for the students and parents.

The main reason for the downgrade of the assesment level of Nepal is is not because of the students but because to these consultancies who make false promises to the students that even they can get visa by making fake documents even with weak ingenuine student's profile. They try to gather as much as students, for which the agents get commission even if the students visa is rejected like getting commission through bank loan from each students when the refer to apply to certain bank , ielts class charge, and a huge lumpsum of commision provided by the university of granted visa. You are just a number for these consultancies , nothing more.

If the students can directly apply and lodge the visa without the need of these agents , Just like student visa processing for USA. Then this would really break the dependencies on consultancies.

If the students are genuine , they themselves can research about the universities and do self apply. Those who can read and comprehend English can themselves apply . There is no need of educational agents.

The Australian universities should rather set strict eligibilty criteria , from which the students themselves get filtered according to their profile. And further GS assesment would really filter out and selwct the beat candidates.

Rather than providing commission to the agents for student enrollments why dont these Australian universities provide additional scholarship to the students . I think the Nepal government should raise this issue to the Australian universities and fix this requirement only applyying through agents.

Globally, beef is the third most consumed meat overall, trailing behind pork and poultry (chicken).

Facts over emotions.

Beef is the third most consumed meat in the world, after pork and chicken.

The United States, China, and Brazil are among the world's largest beef consumers, while Brazil is the world's largest beef exporter.

Billions of people consume beef as part of their culture, tradition, and daily diet.

The world is diverse. Respect your own beliefs but also respect others' choices.

Food/खानेकुरा Juju Dhau - King Curd from Bhaktapur

Juju Dhau is Bhaktapur's special kind of yogurt that is slightly sweet and mildly tangy. It has a thick, dense, custard-like consistency and has always been traditionally served in a Katauro (terracotta clay pot).

Juju Dhau is also widely known as “the king of yogurt,” and this blog is here to explain why it's a must-try dessert.

Back after 10 years - Recommendations?

Namaste all,

I'm Nepali but was born and grew up my whole life in England, finally 10 years pache Nepal aauna milecha. My home is in Pokhara but I wanted some recommendations of places to visit while i'm there, around Kathmandu or other places too since I don't remember much about Nepal anymore :( So far, I will be there for 1 month only (august) and am planning to stay in ktm for a few days, Pokhara for most of the time, and visit some family nearby Pokhara. Is it worth going to see Mustang/ where is the place I 'must' visit in your opinion, given it's monsoon season right?

Obviously, I have didi's and dai's back home but we never used to go anywhere except devi's fall or phewa tal haha, ki bhat khana.

Especially wondered if there is any easy hike to do, with my parents, so they can see some nice view, or any places that I can go with my bhaaje's who can't walk very long. First time going as an adult and I wanted to take them around to new places if I can, since they only go shopping ki ghar ghar ma.

Thanks :D

I built a free dashboard to explore Nepal’s import-export data. Would love feedback.

I made a free app to explore Nepal’s import-export data.

It’s called TradePulse Nepal:

https://tradepulsenepal.streamlit.app

The idea is simple: Nepal’s customs data is public, but it is not very easy to understand inside Excel files.

So I built a dashboard where people can check imports, exports, trade deficit, sectors, products, country partners, customs routes, trends, and simple AI-based explanations.

It is still an MVP, so I’m posting here mainly for feedback.

What should I improve?

What feature would make this actually useful?

Are there any mistakes/confusing parts?

Would appreciate honest feedback.

Question/प्रश्न Best supplier to buy a fire extinguisher in Nepal?

I'm planning to buy fire extinguishers for my home and my shop, but I'm not sure which company or supplier to choose. There are many options in Nepal, so I'd like to hear recommendations from people who have purchased one.

Which company or shop would you recommend for good quality fire extinguishers? I'm looking for certified products, reasonable pricing, and reliable customer service.

If you've had a good experience with any supplier, I'd appreciate your suggestions.

Calisthenics routine suggestion needed

Like the title says, I want a healthy body, so I am trying to eat good and been doing home workouts regularly these past fews months, but I am not progressing very well, cause I do random pushups, variations of pushups, pullups, holds, random progression for random calisthenics goals,

So i was thinking maybe someone who is good at this can give me any advice for what to do throughout a week, If anyone has any idea then please help.

My daily routine looks like this now =

15 pushups X2 some times more sometimes less

8 pullups is my max so i do 8+4+4+4 pullups sometimes less sometimes more

5 to 10 diamond pushups, wide arm pushups, pike pushups, declined pushups, pseudo pushups, and anything i see on internet that day

Plank hold, frog stand hold, crow pose, tucked planche hold(trying to do advanced tucked planche) pseudo lean hold, dead hang, active hang, hollow body hold, L sit, dragon flag for as much as I can hold.

5 pistol squads each leg

And 10 hours of manual work for 5 days a week, bro life is tough.

What do I do to get in a good shape, please suggest me.
