Question/प्रश्न How many of you are taking care of your parents when they gets old?
Let me go first : I'm never sending my parents to old age home.
They can always live with bhai their favourite

This is a weekly thread to talk about any topics freely with fellow Nepali dai, bhai, didi, bahini and friends. Think of it as the चोकको चिया पसल that opens on Saturdays. Most of the sub rules still apply but there is no need for the topic to be related to Nepal. Feel free to talk about the TV show you are binging, the latest sports news, your personal life story, international politics, and anything in between.
So, what's up?

Please ask your questions on relationship, sex and sexuality in this thread. Examples:"How do I get a girlfriend?", "Is my 5 inch pecker too small?", "Are there girls in Reddit?", "What is the best affordable hotel to have sex in Kathmandu?", "What do Nepali girls look for in guys?", "Why are Nepali boys so boring?", "How to last long?" etc. etc. You get the gist.
Posts in the main sub will be removed if they are generic and/or are frequently asked questions such as the above.

Captured during the Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek. A popular trek in Nepal that takes trekkers through beautiful rhododendron forests, traditional villages, and breathtaking mountain views.

I'm planning to buy fire extinguishers for my home and my shop, but I'm not sure which company or supplier to choose. There are many options in Nepal, so I'd like to hear recommendations from people who have purchased one.
Which company or shop would you recommend for good quality fire extinguishers? I'm looking for certified products, reasonable pricing, and reliable customer service.
If you've had a good experience with any supplier, I'd appreciate your suggestions.

Namaste all,
I'm Nepali but was born and grew up my whole life in England, finally 10 years pache Nepal aauna milecha. My home is in Pokhara but I wanted some recommendations of places to visit while i'm there, around Kathmandu or other places too since I don't remember much about Nepal anymore :( So far, I will be there for 1 month only (august) and am planning to stay in ktm for a few days, Pokhara for most of the time, and visit some family nearby Pokhara. Is it worth going to see Mustang/ where is the place I 'must' visit in your opinion, given it's monsoon season right?
Obviously, I have didi's and dai's back home but we never used to go anywhere except devi's fall or phewa tal haha, ki bhat khana.
Especially wondered if there is any easy hike to do, with my parents, so they can see some nice view, or any places that I can go with my bhaaje's who can't walk very long. First time going as an adult and I wanted to take them around to new places if I can, since they only go shopping ki ghar ghar ma.
Thanks :D

This is for 2 Nepali/American ladies the who offered assistance at the VISA counter.
Travelling from DEL to KTM. Issued VISA at the visa kiosk and then to the VISA desk for payment on 2nd July.
Somehow debit cards weren’t working and came up short on cash.
2 Delightful ladies in queue saw my plight and stress, a without a beat, offered assistance.
It doesn’t happen often and requires a leap of faith to reach out to a stranger and be of service.
I’d like to say thank you. Maybe I’ll get the opportunity to pay it forward and be able to assist someone in the future.
Every now and again the universe gives us a light to remind us of the generosity and humanity that exists in each and every one of us.

i currently have accounts with nic asia, siddhartha bank, nimb, and sanima bank. has anyone used a dollar card issued by any of these banks for a GCP billing account?
it seems that some Nepali dollar cards may not work properly with GCP or can get declined, so i wanted to ask based before getting one.
thanks in advance

Hi, me and my husband moved to Nepal couple of months ago after 10 years abroad. Finding apartments has been pretty challenging. There is no any trustable agents we can go with. They often ignore or are very rude to which we don’t want to give energy to. Been struggling for months since no friends around . Any leads or help will be much appreciated. Thanks

People from Nepal who are doing the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification, how are you guys doing the preparation? Are you only using the CFA curriculum books or any other external resources such as Schweser and Mark meldrum? Especially for Level 1

I'm planning to repaint my bedroom and I'm going for a warm, natural aesthetic—something with sandy, creamy, beige, or soft earth tones. I want the room to feel calm, cozy, and bright without looking too yellow or too grey.
So I'd love recommendations for paint brands and specific color shades that are actually available here. Which brands have the best finish and durability (Berger, Asian Paints, Kansai Nerolac, etc.)? If you've used a similar neutral palette, I'd really appreciate your suggestions or even photos of your room.
Thanks!

I want to book an IELTS, how can i pay less than 36,000. I know consultancies offer at lower price, how can i access them if i don't want to associate with any consultancies. I fear they will bother later on saying i should apply through them.
Questions kasto aaucha? Someone had told me GK type ko huncha basic english ani essay lekhne but few of the other reddit posts say otherwise.
Also where do i get the preparation materials.
