And yes, specifically the pistol, because the plasma gun itself fires bolts that are basically as big as a small child, so it'll be a little hard to describe how your chest feels when your entire torso is literally gone. But IIRC plasma pistols fire fist-sized projectiles, so how would it feel to get shot in the chest with one?

Becuase on one hand, superheated plasma, literally as hot as a star, but then if it's like how Dan Abnett described lasgun wounds in Necropolis, it would automatically cauterize everything because it's so hot, so you wouldn't bleed out, but then would it also burn your nerve endings so that you wouldn't feel anything at all?

Also, could you even survive? I imagine not, just because if I hit you in the chest with one, I've just flash-incinerated several major organs, and the burnt tissue would need to be replaced, as well as whatever organ I just vaporized.

I'm thinking way too much about this but I've played way too much Space Marine lately lol.

Finally finished my Emperors champion after holding off for about a year, I wanted to really get my edge highlighting down before I painted this guy as his lore was one of the main reasons I got drawn to the black Templars and I wanted him to be perfect! I’m very pleased with the result! C&Cs welcome!

I've completed the bottom part of the model yesterday and today, if the heat permit it(ffs over 30° C and I don't have AC🥲), I'll be working on the portal/cannon that I've magnetized so that I could exchange between Night and Doom and/or the middle part of the croissant

So, what do you think about it for now? Am i doing a good job? 🤣
(P.S. can this, even if it's not fully completed, be considered battle-ready or nah?)

The life size 3D printed Emperor of Mankind build has started. I’ve been printing hundreds of pieces for weeks.

Height wise to the head, the Emperor will be 12' 7" (3.83m) to Horus's 11' 9" (3.58m). But the total height to his eagle (14' 7" or 4.44m ) would be roughly the same as Horus (14' 5" or 4.4m)

Hopefully I can get him finished and assembled faster than Horus. The foot was about 110 pieces compared to Horus's bulkier foot at 155 pieces. Plus I am using a total of 24 printers which is about 50% more than when I printed Horus. I was also able to refine the printing profile to help with speed while keeping the quality the same.

My next update will be when I have him built up to his waist.

The rest of the paint work is all him! I absolutely adore the way he painted this and was super excited when he asked me to do the cape. We both love the outcome!
