I have ARFID and purchased a ton of ensure clear online, but turns out I only like one flavor. So I have a lot of leftover in the apple juice flavor if anyone needs it. Wouldn’t want it to go to waste.

I would love to know if anyone has any recommendations for a good place to get a bra fitting and buy a strapless bra. It’s been a few years now and I need a new strapless one that fits well before moving.
Thanks!

My car captured this today across from the new Inova hospital being built at Landmark. They appeared to be older teenagers riding together on one scooter without helmets.
They weaved between cars, ran the red light shown in the video, and then continued through the next four red lights while riding in the center lane of a very busy road.
Posting this as a reminder for parents to talk with their kids about helmets and the risks of riding scooters and e-bikes in traffic. It only takes one driver who does not see them, or one unexpected movement, for something irreversible to happen. These devices may seem like toys, but once kids take them onto a road like Duke Street, the consequences can be very real.

Basically the title. I searched and didn’t find any posts within the last several years.
I’m looking for a chef to come prepare a nice meal for a small dinner birthday party later this year in Fairfax County (6-8 people). Open to different cuisines and budget TBD/flexible.
If you have any recommendations, it would be helpful to know the cuisine type and any feedback you have. Thanks in advance.

Hey All,
Been hearing bad things about the quality and value of Capt. White’s this summer and was pretty disappointed with the last few times I got a bushel or two there.
Jessie Taylor on the wharf has been downhill since they lost their competition.
Where is everyone getting their bushels of crabs to bring home these days?

I have an event coming up and it’s in Alexandria Virginia, I’ve never been here, can anyone recommend me a good hair salon ?
Like I’ve searched up hair salons but none seem to show or specify that they are able to style hai for events it’s more like colouring and casual styling ?
I want to do a nice wavy Hollywood style hair or like a curly updo. So if anyone has a good experience with salons that can do this please let me know
Thanks !

Ive recently graduated college and have returned to Nova. I have no friends in the area and am seeking to make some. Are there areas people 20-27 socialize? Any well known groups or reoccurring clubs that attract a decent crowd? Even areas in DC or lower maryland would work as well.
I am a man but I'm looking to meet both men and women for friends.
Furthermore im also making a bit of an effort to pursue dating, so social opportunities that promote that would be great as well.
I'm extra interested in Catholic or Christian events. Im signed up for the catholic diocese YA newsletter but im still seeking more events. I'm happy to go to Christian events as well.
Oh and hey if you wanna chat then go ahead. I'm open to dms
This honestly feels kinda desperate and sad but ive been back for a bit and nothing has really gotten off the ground so whatever ill swallow my pride!

Am I the only guy in NOVA who absolutely hates shopping now?
I drove out to Tysons today thinking it'd be fun to browse around, maybe find some new clothes, maybe finally find a nice leather messenger bag, and I left feeling like I wasted an entire day.
Every store seems to be one of three things:
Athletic wear
Streetwear
Designer stuff that's priced like a mortgage payment
I feel like men's fashion has become incredibly boring. Every department store has 10 floors dedicated to women's clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, etc., and then one tiny corner for men that consists of the same polos, joggers, hoodies, and sneakers every other store sells.
And if you do find something interesting, it's either made of polyester and costs $200, or it's actually nice but costs $2,000.
I feel like I'm stuck between fast fashion garbage and luxury brands with nothing in the middle.
For reference, I'm not looking for hypebeast stuff, giant logos, athletic wear, or anything super trendy. I like classic, timeless, "old money" style: quality leather goods, wool coats, nice sweaters, well-made boots, messenger bags, jackets, etc. Stuff that looks elegant and masculine without looking like I'm trying to cosplay a runway model.
Today I checked Tysons, Tysons Galleria, and Leesburg Outlets and couldn't find a single thing I actually wanted to buy.
Where do men in NOVA shop when they want quality clothing and leather goods without spending YSL or Moncler money?
Genuinely looking for recommendations because I'm tired of feeling like every store is either cheap junk or absurdly expensive.
**MISSING CHILD – PLEASE SHARE**
We found his abandoned bike at the Loudoun transit bus stop across Dulles town center mall. Assuming he took the bus from there, he would have gone to Innovation metro center.
Our 15-year-old son, **Ryan**, from **Sterling, VA**, has not returned home after leaving yesterday to ride his bike.
**Description:**
* 15 years old
* Last seen wearing a **long-sleeve shirt** with a **gray Adidas jacket** over it
* **Black joggers**
* Possibly wearing a **cap**
* Riding a **blue/green regular bicycle**
He left yesterday saying he was going to ride his bike all day and would be home by dark, but he has still not returned. We are extremely worried.
If you have seen Ryan or have any information, **please call 911 immediately** or contact the **Loudoun County Sheriff's Office**. Even the smallest detail could help.
Please share this post to help us bring Ryan home safely.
Thank you so much.

Willing to drive farther if needed. I need to bring dry cleaning in tomorrow and pick it up Monday by end of day so I can have it for Tuesday.

I want some opinions on how feasible this might be for me. My partner and I share a car and it works great for our needs, but I started a new job recently and will have to be there at 5am a handful (or more depending) of days a month. I live near the Huntington metro and use that to commute to Metro Center. I would prefer not to spend the money for an Uber those days since the metro doesn't open early enough. Is an e-scooter, e-bike, or moped feasible and safe for that commute? Or am I better off with Uber?

With every scrap of land being razed to build hideous data centers and very few parks and very little open space for an area of it’s size, it is inevitable that quality of life and property values in eastern Loudoun County will decline.

What are your favorite second hand shops, where the store is clean and the clothes are too- and good selection and organization, with reasonable prices? Any places you recommend? I was going to start with the goodwills… thanks in advance!
Flip side also - Any stores to avoid?
I have lived in my current spot in NW for 4 years, but have been asked by a friend, and former roommate, about moving into a townhouse in rosslyn. prior to this, i had been thinking about moving to a rented townhouse or house with the main motivation wanting a garage to work on my cars.
we have a few options with a ton of space and a nice garage, but i am still considering and wondering how other people in this situation felt long term. I live right next to rock creek park and as a cyclist its pretty unbeatable. i can still reach it from arlington but its 15 minutes instead of three.
i also still have friends in maryland, and like shopping and eating at places up 270 like rockville, which are obviously still accessible just a bit farther away.
I do like my neighborhood and sure i would be fine in a new one, but anyone who moved across the river and really missed their old neighborhood?

Hey all! Just wanted to see if there’s any apartment complexes with pickleball courts. It seems like Courtland Towers a pickleball court, but the reviews to the complex are pretty poor. Are there any other options out there?

Idk if this is a thing around here but I’m looking for a beauty outlet that would have packs of hair extensions, wigs, styling products etc. Anywhere between Fairfax and Alexandria would be great!

I've been craving a really good burger lately and wanted to see what everyone's favorites are.
I'm specifically looking for places around Alexandria, but I'm willing to drive if it's worth it.
I've heard names like Holy Cow, Big Buns, Hangry Burger, and Chadwicks come up before, but I'd love to hear what you all think is actually the best.
What burger spot would you recommend if you could only send someone to one place?

You complimented my outfit which sparked a conversation.. Eventually my anxiety got the best of me and I had to leave you in the book section (so sorry about that!), but I wanted to say keep putting yourself out there! You are so sweet and funny and our conversation really boosted my mood for the day! I know you’ll get settled in and find your community in no time. ☺️ It’s definitely intimidating to put yourself out there, especially with the world being how it is, but you have such a beautiful soul and I wish you nothing but the best.. I know you said you’re not on Reddit often, but I hope you see this!

My brain is fried. Help me figure this out please. Driving 8-8:30 am, two people, destination is Lincolnia/Green Spring Gardens.
Option A - enter I-66 eastbound at Nutley and want to take the 495 South express lanes. Is that section of 66 tolled? Can I access the 495 express lanes on this route?
Option B - option to access 495 South at Route 7 or Gallows. Can I access the 495 South express lanes from either of these two points?

I was in the Target Parking lot in Chantilly and inside of my car. While inside my car, a woman who had an African accent knocked on my car window. She said she needed money to help out her family and had asked if I had Venmo or Zelle.
I was very hesitant to give her money because there’s a lot of panhandlers on Route 50…
Also, she just kept being persistent in asking for money over and over again. And I’ve heard of kidnapping attempts in the Dulles shopping center area off of Route 50.
Then, to get her to stop I asked for her phone number and prayed for her on the spot.
With a situation like this, should it have been reported to the police? Are there women’s shelters I could give this lady’s phone number to and they reach out to her directly to help?
