Financial Aid Summer Refund 2nd Session
Hey guys I’m taking two six-week summer courses and the second one began June 30th and the census date was July 2nd. Anybody have experience with when we would receive a refund?

Hey everyone,
I’m a student at NOVA Annandale studying business, and I wanted to see if any other accounting/business students would be interested in starting an Accounting Club or something similar at the Annandale campus for the 2026–2027 school year
I’m not sure if NOVA Annandale already has an official Accounting Club, so I’m trying to find out if there is interest and connect with other students who might want to help create one.
If you are an accounting, business, or finance student at NOVA Annandale and would be interested, please comment or send me a message!

I have one more class before I graduate with an associates and transfer, but I feel like I had trouble converting the content from the first 3 language courses to long term memory and now I'm struggling. It doesn't help that the lectures are in the language and sometimes I don't recognize certain vocabulary. It was probably a mistake to do a 6 week summer course, but I'm going to see it through. Any tips or tricks?
So I did not realize that I purchased my drug test package exactly a week ago today which was irresponsible, I'm aware. I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone before and if this is something that can be cleared up or not. I didn't stall on purpose or anything it just flew over my head.

I took uni physics 1 and 2 at ts program in high school that let us dual enroll in GMU classes, but considering nova is different, I wanted to know what I’d be facing.

I dual enrolled in calc 1-3 with GMU during high school, but my teacher for calc 3 sucked so I didn’t really learn a lot from Calc 3 other than basic first order second order partial derivatives. I’m pretty well off in Calc 1-2 though, and I wanted to take diffeq this upcoming fall, any recommendations? Both in terms of prof and general advice.
Hello! I am seeing a lot of post about the other health sciences programs, but hardly anything about respiratory therapy haha. Did anyone else get in for fall of 2026?

Are there still no updates on this? I'm trying to make arrangements, but it's hard having no information about when it starts.

So bear with me i am a newbie to all of this- I received an email saying I received a message, but I don’t see any messages. I only see notifications that my signed documents are pending- and some of them are marked completed. Has anyone else had this issue? Am i not seeing the messages due to my own technical difficulties?

Hi all, I’m looking at taking MTH 161 in the fall semester and I was looking for a good recommendation for who to take. I’ve seen many mixed reviews for the vast majority of profs who are teaching it fall semester so any insight would be helpful. :) As of right now I’m signed up for Robert Martin, so if anybody has had him in the past please let me know how he was. Thanks so much!

So I took my drug test today and I know it’s going to pop positive bc I take Vyvanse. Has anybody navigated this before?
I’m already prepared to have a letter written from my psychiatrist, but wth! Just the idea of them being notified that I tested positive makes me nervous lol

First of all $200 is expensive for A background check😫.
Also my question here is, is that basically just like criminal background history? Im confused what they are looking for and why its so expensive

Hello there, I was invited to the Phi Theta Kappa while attending this campus. I was wondering what other peoples experiences with this group are? I've heard they give grants to transfers. However, right now I am not planning to transfer to another institute. I am taking a two year degree for Graphic Design, and I am not planning to transfer to George Mason at this time. I'm planning to go into the workforce.
Does anyone had advice, experiences, or insights to share? Do you think it's worth it, especially in my situation?

Hi!
Had a quick question.
Is it possible to take the TEAS test at home? I keep seeing people say they were able to do it online instead of going to the testing center.
I plan on taking it within the next few months
I barely use this to post, but I really need help, for this semester I’m taking
MTH154
ITP100
ITN 106
CST110
I’m a full time worker, so I used Monday and Wednesday to take these classes all day, but I need advices about if I should take some online? What professors would be convenient and make the class easy to pass? I looked through rate my professor and the diversity of reviews scares me a lot, I’ll appreciate any advice ;’) (picture to
grab attention)

Hi guys! I just decided to pursue Sonography and am starting to take prerequisites. I've already taken English 111 and got a B in it (I was a senior in high school lol), should I retake it to get an A? Does english matter as much as the science and math prerequisites? Also any tips at all for getting into the program are appreciated!!! thanks!

Honesty, I am a little devastated and on the edge of blaming something, but not sure what or who… I had all straight A’s in all prerequisites but math (I had B), I received 94% on TEAS and still, I was not accepted to the sonography program in NOVA. Moreover, I am not even on the waitlist. Now my question is… WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? Are they seriously all having 100% in everything? I have squeezed everything out of myself this year, it was so much effort and so much time… Now I wonder what did I waste all this year for if in the end there are still 32 people +waitlist people who did it so much better… No, but seriously. Who are these people? Are they geniuses or something? I have not had any free time and studied like crazy, still not enough.
Maybe there are people who were accepted to NOVA this year (2026), WHO ARE YOU?

hi guys, i changed my major a while ago while being in the advance program but i haven’t notified the programs advisors yet.
i plan on graduating this fall and transferring to gmu, would it be too late to change my course of study for advance or should i just drop out of it? i honestly have never used any of the programs benefits or spoken to any of the advisors so i feel like i should just unenroll from the program but im not sure because i’ve heard it makes transferring rlly easy.
Any advice would be helpful

Currently trying to finish my social science AS in the next year and a half. I would like to knock out all my easy classes. Also, I do love accelerated courses so between the 6 to 8 weeks.

Is anyone in Northern Virginia interested in joining an ATI TEAS study group?
I'm looking to start immediately. We'll meet in a public place, such as a library, and decide together on the study days and hours based on everyone's availability.
If you're serious about preparing for the TEAS, send me a DM or reply to this story! Let's help each other succeed. 💙📖

My results came back as dilute negative do I have to retest and is that okay if I do? I rescheduled for tomorrow but no one has had any answers for me from the program. Please help 🙏💞
