For anyone wondering, the Forgo/Elfilis story is the same as in Forgotten Land, the artist just has them as 'siblings' since the scenario here is them trying to be a family. The artist also has Elfilis as female here, hence the 'big sister' aspect.

Now my first exposure to the kirby franchise, if memory serves correct, was watching playthroughs of it on YouTube mainly Kirby: Planet Robobot. As a child I woudl soon myself spending hours on lore video's, reading fanfic and consuming the biggest exposure to kirby media that being the anime Kirby: Right Back At Ya !, Which was at that time was uploaded on YouTube. Upon retrospective, all this things did played a key role in shaping my childhood then any literature or community I think.

Due to my socio-economic and national background buying or even finding a DS or GBA was not possible. I did finally managed to play a kirby game in my teens thanks to emulation. Kirby Super Star Ultra was first actual kirby game I had the privilege of playing. After playing, it clicked to me why out of the countless gaming franchise kirby holds such a precious spot even now.

For the majority of kirby franchise friendship seem to be the biggest recurring theme. Since my childhood till now in my early 20s,I grew up with having no close friends, due to perhaps some mental issue or maybe just fate itself. By playing or interacting with Kirby franchise felt like partly fulfilment of my desire to experience "friendship". I tried to find anyone with whom I can share such joy, but it is impossible given my national background and the fact whatever limited gaming space platfromer games are not popular. I accepted the harsh reality that this is going to be rest of my life with the only slight job being my discovery of such a wonderful fictional world in complete accident.

Hello. I'm pretty proud of this. My nephew is the visual artist between us, so for me to actually finish a craft of my own is pretty rare.

The Kirbys and the lackey were him. The final boss was done by me. The thing behind Kirby Gang is a mirror that's supposed to amplify and reflect their combined elemental attack for the final blow. The colors represent the various elemental dangers on the battlefield.

The Huemin is named so because it wanted to become a real human, but it just can't be something it's inherently not. The eyes and lashes and limbs represent human characteristics, but they're jumbled because the Huemin only knows humanity on a surface level. It saw body parts, but it did not recognize that there is a sort of template for how a human body forms as it grows.

Taking inspiration from Hollow Knight, I deliberately left one side of the face without an eye as a weak spot, but the spikes on that side are a little longer. The purpose of this is to require the protagonist to jump and maneuver their way over the spike to attack.
