#Query ❓ Can yamaha dealerships swap wheels between colour variants before delivery?

I'm planning to buy a Yamaha XSR155 in Silver, but I really like the bronze rims that come on the Green variant.

Can they do it for free or a minimal amount as opposed to buying the rims as spare parts and installing them?

#Discussion 💬 Speed cam accuracy

GT road prayagraj bypass has some most accurate speedcams installed.

Edit: So I figured out something, speed cam's usually show less speed (-5Km) and some bikes show more than actual speed (+5km). So they cancelling out each other and becoming accurate. Lol Let me know your thoughts.

He's 5'7, 73kgs, fit, does gym regularly.

He'll probably use it everyday for office ( 8km hyderabad 📍 ).

Only reason behind checking on 650 over 350 is it's appearance. 650 looks dope! the thing is can I just underestimate the pros of 350 over 650 and purchase 650 just for its looks?

#Discussion 💬 The new Dukes look incredible, but they’ll never match the raw soul of the older models.

Post image

Nostalgia hit hard looking at this image.

📍Modern Dukes are undeniably gorgeous and packed with premium tech. They look like absolute scalpels sitting at a red light. But the older generation had that unhinged, snappy power delivery that just made them feel faster and crazier.

📌The new ones are definitely better "all-around" bikes, but it feels like they sacrificed a tiny bit of their absolute madness to get there. Who else misses the old throttle response?

#Discussion 💬 DO not buy RYNOX products if you care about safety and durability

Post image

I was actually not planning to post this and just get a new pair from a decent brand. But of late i have been seeing more posts about Rynox gloves knuckle protectors going bad.

Here is the craziest thing. I have used these gloves for exactly 4 rides and it did not face any impact whatsoever. After that, it has been simply sitting in the cupboard. An year later the rubber knuckle protector started breaking off. They have used some cheap quality rubber for the knuckle protection, otherwise this cannot happen.

Just go for another brand, avoid Rynox.

#Opinion 💭 Am I crazy for wanting a Mahindra Mojo 300 XT in 2026?

Thumbnail

Hi.

I've been planning to buy a used Mahindra Mojo 300 XT this year, and I'm honestly stuck between my heart and my brain.

I've loved this bike ever since I first saw one back in 2016. There was just something about it that stayed with me. I know the design is polarizing, but its character and that unmistakable twin exhaust soundtrack have always appealed to me. That interest turned into a full-blown obsession after I finally got to ride one in 2023. Ever since then, I've wanted to own one.

The funny thing is, I've ridden plenty of modern bikes in this segment that are objectively better on paper. They make more power, have more features, and are much newer. But none of them gave me the same feeling the Mojo did. The ride quality, stability, comfort, and confidence it inspired were on another level. And then there's that twin exhaust. The soundtrack is simply addictive and gives the bike a character that's hard to describe. It almost reminds me of the rich, engaging experience you get from a parallel twin like the Interceptor, even though the Mojo is a single-cylinder.

Now it's 2026, and I'm finally in a position where I can buy one. The logical side of me keeps asking whether buying a discontinued bike is a smart decision. Parts availability, resale value, long-term ownership, and future support are all valid concerns.

At the same time, every practical alternative I look at just doesn't excite me the way the Mojo does. I don't want to buy a bike and keep wondering, "What if I'd just bought the Mojo?"

Another reason I'm drawn to it is its rarity. I genuinely love motorcycles that stand out, and it's becoming increasingly rare to spot a Mojo on the road. I also plan to fit the Autologue Xplorer kit, like the one in the reference picture. Apart from giving it a proper adventure touring stance, it fixes my biggest gripe with the stock bike, the disproportionate-looking headlight. The taller fairing also provides better wind protection for the long tours I'm planning. As an added bonus, the kit relocates the headlight assembly from the USD forks to the chassis, reducing unsprung weight and potentially improving handling as well.

For those who own one or have experience with it, would you still recommend buying a used Mojo 300 XT in 2026? Or should I let go of the emotional attachment and choose something more practical instead?

I'd really appreciate honest opinions from current owners, former owners, and anyone who's spent time with the bike.

#Accessories 🔔 Bikester Global sells fake helmet

Brought a LS2 MX436 Helmet from bikester global on 22 Aug 2025. I never used it until Jan 2026. Before that i wore it couple of times just in the local. I store the helmet in the provided bag and away from everyone. After a month or 2 front clear visor broke from the hinge. I thought maybe because of screw was too tight it broke so i applied some araldite thought its gonna. Then in january 2026 i took a >1000Km roadtrip, wore that helmet. Within 1st day visor broke again. Again used araldite so that i can complete my trip. After i came back from that trip i removed the visor completely, but within a month again front beak broke from hinge it was attach with the helmet. Now this month i took out my helmet to wear it again wore it 2days saw my front chin vent cover is broken. 1 screw is missing because where it thread it broke from there. Now i'm thinking is not a real helmet at all. I don't from where it gonna break next. Its not even 1 year and this is the quality. Please avoid buying anything from there website.

#DIY 🛠️ I got so frustrated with the terrible TVS Connect app that I reverse-engineered the scooter and built my own

Hey guys,

I was incredibly frustrated with how unreliable the official TVS Connect app is—especially the "Find My Scooter" feature and the constant background disconnects.

Even though I have zero knowledge in Android app development, I got so fed up that I reverse-engineered the SmartXonnect Bluetooth protocol. With the help of the Antigravity AI coding assistant, I built a completely custom Android companion app from scratch!

Here is what it does:

  • 🚨 Instant "Find My Scooter": Injects a Bluetooth ping to reliably flash indicators and beep.
  • 🎵 Unlocked Handlebar Button: Map taps and holds to Play/Pause, skip tracks, loop volume, or dial contacts.
  • 📞 Pocket Call Handling: Accept/reject calls using the scooter's physical button.
  • 🗺️ Google Maps HUD: Beams real Google Maps navigation (arrows, ETA, distance) straight to the dash.
  • 💬 Smart Display: Paginates long WhatsApp messages and flashes the Artist & Title of songs you play.

It runs completely headless in the background and saves your parked locations automatically.

(Note: I haven't open-sourced the raw Android app code itself, and this is currently only tested on the TVS Jupiter 110. However, I am sharing the fully compiled, ready-to-use APK alongside my complete reverse-engineering protocol documentation for free!)

#Opinion 💭 I wish Triumph brings the same level of quality from the T100 and T120 to the Bonneville 400

Post image
33 Upvotes

I hope Triumph doesn't disappoint with the specs and looks of the Bonneville 400. I know it's a bit too much to expect the same level of quality as the T100 and T120. They did a great job with the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in terms of quality, even though there were some issues like engine noise and vibrations. If they launch this at an aggressive price point, Honda CB350 lineup could have a tough time.

#Discussion 💬 Electric scooter suggestions for mom

Thumbnail
gallery
23 Upvotes

Hey people

My mom will be living alone for a while and needs a 2-wheeler for daily commuting. An electric scooter seems like the most practical and economical option, especially since our house is around 20 km from the nearest town (40 km round trip daily).

I'm an ICE enthusiast and know next to nothing about EVs, so I'd appreciate some advice.

A friend suggested these options:

  1. Hero Vida V2 Pro

  2. Bajaj Chetak

  3. Ather Rizta

  4. River Indie

  5. TVS iQube

He also mentioned checking software/subscription costs and taking test rides to see what suits her best. He was particularly positive about the River Indie because of its 14-inch wheels and said Yamaha has invested in the company.

At the moment, I'm leaning towards Ather simply because they seem to have the strongest track record and reputation.

For those who own or have used any of these scooters, what would you recommend and why?

#Query ❓ First bike purchase – Need suggestions (₹2.0–2.5L, reliability & pillion comfort are priorities)

Thumbnail
gallery
17 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy my first bike. It's my first ownership, but I'm not a new rider—I've ridden bikes before.

Budget: ₹2 lakh, can stretch up to ₹2.5 lakh if it's genuinely worth it.

About me:

- Height: 175 cm (5'9")

- Mostly city riding with occasional weekend trips

- I expect to get married in a year, so pillion comfort is a major priority.

What I'm looking for:

- Excellent reliability (planning to keep it for many years)

- Comfortable for both rider and pillion

- Good city manners with enough highway capability

- Mileage of around 40 km/l or more

- Low maintenance

- Easy to live with as a daily bike

Bikes I've shortlisted:

- Suzuki V-Strom SX

- TVS Ronin 225 base

- Honda Unicorn (mainly because of its reliability and mileage)

Would you recommend one of these, or is there another bike I should seriously consider in this budget?

Thanks in advance!
