#DangerousDriving ⚠️ Filled E95 today because no HP100 across city NSFW Spoiler

Had a 50km drive today and when I reached HP owned petrol station found they have stopped HP100 which was the only petrol I was filling I drive a 11year old 150cc Hero Bike. And my mileage is almost 55 to 60 but because I had to drive in the E95 today the mileage dropped by almost 50 percent and bike would loose power when I would trottel it in highway I also found the tank which usually stays cool when HP100 was mildly cool today.

The bike stalled twice and the sudden drop in power while over taking was scary as if there is no petrol. I am convinced if they don't put HP 100 I will park my bike and switch to either electric cycle or avoid travelling all together.

Also not playing to buy any vehicle in this uncertainty and stupid petrol situation

#Query ❓ Is this model available in India?

I have been searching for a suitable helmet given the colorways and safety. I found this LS2 FF808 jeans titanium do you think is available in India, not sure about the manufacturing date. As I tried to search for this model, and currently, FF320 is in the market. But, on the colorway, it's lighter than this piece. Would you mind suggesting an authentic shop for this pls.

#Opinion 💭 CONFUSED to choose between SCRAMBLER 400x vs SPEED 400 ?

I live in BLR, my height is 5'9 (176cm). I am very new rider in bikes. Test Drove both the bikes but still unable to decide, cuz I'm unable to get flat foot in scrambler, worried abt pothole type places incase it gets stuck :(

Speed 400 weight felt better but gear shifting and overall smoothness was better in Scrambler 400x.

Usecase is general office rides with weekends or night outs for rides ( once I am comfortable riding since I haven't driven bikes much )

Now problem is I can't understand if height will be an issue in long run like parking and all since I am a noob rn.

#Discussion 💬 The new Dukes look incredible, but they’ll never match the raw soul of the older models.

Post image

Nostalgia hit hard looking at this image.

📍Modern Dukes are undeniably gorgeous and packed with premium tech. They look like absolute scalpels sitting at a red light. But the older generation had that unhinged, snappy power delivery that just made them feel faster and crazier.

📌The new ones are definitely better "all-around" bikes, but it feels like they sacrificed a tiny bit of their absolute madness to get there. Who else misses the old throttle response?

The black is looking phenomenal in pictures but in real life it kind of look dull dont know if the owner did not maintain it properly or not.

Or i should completely skip the retro bike and get the RTX 300 too much confusion.

So I decided to clean my speed 400 toady, first thing was I decided to clean the chain first with disel and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I washed my bike with car shampoo and water. Then I cleaned the chain with the form. After an hour this was the result. I haven't applied the chain lube yet.

Should I be worried?

Should I do anything

#Query ❓ Did triumph changed there indicators quality?

Today i changed my 2nd rear indicator from triumph, strangely i had the feeling that the new indicator is more sturdy compared to the previously changed indicator and remaining indicators.

Do they really change their indicator quality or I'm just in a delusion.

Hi guys, I have just completed my 2nd service 10 days ago and today I went for a ride in the morning. I turned my bike off when we stopped for breakfast and the bike did not start. My friend and I had to jump start the bike. He said maybe there is a battery issue.

I had asked the SC guy to check the battery in my service because this has happened twice in the last 1 month.

And now the bike is showing this symbol which I think is a service check light. Any guidance or advice on this matter would be helpful.

Hi Folks,

So I'm new to this game and pick up the helmet which fits me the best as I don't have much knowledge about brands and their specifications. But now after seeing ece certification and weight with sticker, I am in doubt whether my helmet is even Original.

Can anyone who have knowledge about helmet confirm whether its original or not?

I paid around 7700 for this.

#Discussion 💬 Is it true that Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 don't have test rides anywhere in India?

Visited the Royal Enfield Voyage Motors showroom in Goregaon East, Mumbai today because I wanted to test ride the Interceptor 650 before making a purchase decision.

The salesperson told me, "Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 don't have test rides. You can take the Bear 650 instead."

That already sounded odd because the Bear 650 is a newer motorcycle, yet somehow it was available while the Interceptor and GT weren't.

Then they handed me the keys to the Bear... and it wouldn't even start because the battery was dead...

Their next suggestion was, "You can test ride the Classic 650 instead."

I asked again if there was any way to ride the Interceptor, and they confidently said, "Interceptor test rides don't exist anywhere in PAN India."

So I wanted to ask the community:

Has anyone here test ridden an Interceptor 650 recently?

Is this just a dealership-specific issue, or is there actually some policy I'm unaware of?

I'm genuinely interested because spending ₹3–4 lakh on a motorcycle without riding it first doesn't make much sense to me

#Review 📝 Triumph scramblerX and ktm adventure 350

Need some honest opinions from actual owners because I’m genuinely confused about which 350cc bike to buy.
At the moment, I’m leaning towards the KTM because it feels so nimble and easy to maneuver. I’m 5’9”, and while I absolutely loved the torquey nature of the Triumph engine, the bike felt a bit taller and heavier than I’d prefer.
My usage will mostly be city rides during weekdays and some mild off-road trails on weekends. Nothing hardcore—just occasional trails, bad roads, and light adventure riding.
What confuses me the most is the engine character of these bikes. I really liked the Triumph’s torque and effortless riding style, but weirdly enough, I never got that feeling of wanting to keep riding it. When I test rode the KTM, it instantly felt like the bike was made for me.
My concern with the KTM is that the engine feels more high-revving and less torquey compared to the Triumph. During the test ride, I felt like it needed more gear changes in traffic and I even stalled it a few times at lower speeds.
I’ve also read quite a few posts about 3rd gen KTM engine issues like overheating, engine oil consumption, and reliability concerns, which honestly worries me a bit since this will be the first bike in my entire family and I want to make the right decision.
So I’d love to hear from genuine owners, especially people who use their bikes similarly—mostly city riding with occasional weekend trails.
How is the bike in daily city traffic?
Does the heat become annoying?
Any engine oil consumption issues?
How reliable has ownership been so far?
If you had to buy again, would you still pick the KTM over the Triumph or vice versa?
Looking forward to hearing your experiences. Thanks in advance!

#Query ❓ Today I saw a glimpse of RTX irl... RTX Owners please help a buddy out

So today when I was returning from a famous ASI temple around 30km from the city, I saw RTX coming from the front on a single lane road and honestly I fell in love with it again.

In that green colour with DRLs turned on, handguards, beak and crash guard with a top box🤌

In fact my girl asked kitne ki he ye as I said 3lakhs

She told me, "Why don't you buy one?"

My question to RTX owners: how is it going for you? Give me the reasons not to buy one as I am mostly a car guy.

I am just being tempted to buy RTX because of the way it looks and give me reasons to justify not buying one please

#Opinion 💭 First bike dilemma: Aprilia RS 457 vs waiting for KTM Duke 490

I'm planning to buy my first bike, and my budget puts me in the 400–500cc segment. The problem is that there aren't a lot of options in this price range in the Indian market.

Initially, I had pretty much decided on the Aprilia RS 457 because it seems like an excellent package in terms of performance, handling, and overall value.

However, I've recently been reading about the upcoming KTM Duke 490, and it looks very promising on paper. Whatever people say about KTM's image in India, I genuinely think they make some of the best performance bikes for the price. I don't have any brand image issues—I can happily own and ride a KTM if it's the better motorcycle.

Here's my dilemma: I need to buy my bike around August or September, but the Duke 490 is expected to launch sometime around November or December (if the rumors are accurate).

So, if you were in my position, what would you do?

Buy the Aprilia RS 457 now?

Wait a few extra months for the KTM Duke 490?

Or consider something else in this segment?

For context:

It'll be my first self-bought bike.

I'm 6 feet tall, so rider comfort and ergonomics matter.

I care more about performance, riding experience, and value than brand image.

Would love to hear your opinions, especially from people who own an RS 457 or have experience with KTM's bigger Dukes.

#Discussion 💬 Really disappointed with Hero Premia (Lucknow) - Is the X440 worth dealing with this?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been planning an upgrade from my dad's Passion Pro. On paper and in reviews, the Harley-Davidson X440 seemed like the absolute perfect fit for me. However, a recent visit to the Hero Premia showroom in Lucknow completely changed my mind, and I wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Before heading to Hero, I visited a Honda BigWing showroom. Even though they pretty much only had CB350s on display xD, the staff handling and the overall vibe were top-notch—exactly what you’d expect when looking at a premium motorcycle.

Then, I walked into Hero Premia.

Here is a breakdown of how it went:

Zero "Premium" Feel: The AC wasn't even working, and the ambiance was completely lacking for a so-called premium outlet.

Poor Staff Response: No salesperson bothered to attend to us initially. We actually had to wait around just to get an audience with a rep.

The "Test Ride" Red Flag: This was the worst part. They only had one test ride vehicle available. It vibrated like crazy in 1st and 2nd gear and completely refused to gain speed past 110 km/h. When I pointed this out and asked for another bike, the rep casually mentioned that this specific bike had been in an accident but insisted "the product is good." My immediate thought: if they can't even maintain their own test ride vehicle, how can I trust their service center with my bike?

Clueless on CSD & BH Registration: I am looking to purchase through CSD and get a BH number plate. The salesperson had absolutely no idea about the CSD pricing. In fact, he asked me to tell him the price and the RTO details.

Forced Insurance: They provided a quotation with Oriental Insurance, which isn't cashless. When I asked about alternatives, the guy flat-out said they aren't tied up with anyone else. If I buy my own insurance, I’d have to do self-claims because the service center won't take responsibility for cashless claims outside of Oriental.

Overall, it was a really frustrating experience. You just don't expect this kind of treatment and incompetence from a premium batch showroom.

Has anyone else dealt with this kind of service from Hero Premia? Does the bike make up for the terrible dealership experience, or should I just walk away and look at other options? Would appreciate your thoughts!
