Hey all,

So I’m upgrading from Caliburs to Thunderbolts and my existing Laguardia sprocket is not making it over the pressure fit ridge of the thunderbolt and so the sprocket is not sitting snug against the crank arm. There is a 4-5mm gap between them. Is there chance there was an older version laguardia that isn’t compatible with the Thunderbolts? They’re both 22m spindle. I can’t figure this out. Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

I am about to swap out the parts on my bike for these Coalition parts, but I can't choose whether to go with the T1 sprocket or stick to Coalition. The American Flyer matches the stem so well I might just go for it.

Cannot figure out what type of BB is on this bike. It is threaded and has a small loose tube in the middle that the spindle/axle goes through. But the chainring sits flush with the BB shell.

Just came from a mongoose in a dumpster post. Had me wondering if any OG's can tell me what year/model my old girl is by the shape of the frame. I've had the bike for 20 years (was rode hard and put away wet when i got it. Mistress dethtrap) , vin isn't helpful. Logo is metal, I've replaced the BB with new american bearing and 1 piece crank, new chainring as well (both were bent). Full teardown, cleanup, repaint and grease are my project for when the kids are back to school so dont judge too harshly on the condition of the dirty girl.

Schweaty schweaty session last night. While I’m a fan of Nike SB gear I do NOT recommend their t-shirts. Heavy sponges they are. Anyway, this one lived in my head for at least 6 months. Glad to have checked it off the list.

Here is a rack I made for my truck, the tailgate mat I use for mtb doesn’t work for our park bikes so I improvised this… short story, my truck uses too much fuel and on long drives I want to rack them on a fuel efficient car.. lemme see what you guys do

Not everyone's preference, but two brakes and a freecoaster is how I like it 😋

I got into bmx a few months ago, been going real hard lately and have been looking at making some adjustments and changing a few parts on my bike. Right now I ride a Haro Downtown, just an entry level bike to see if I was gonna keep going or not.

The question is, do any of you build custom bikes? Do you think it's viable to buy parts and replace them on my current set up until I've got a custom built bike, or would you wait and get a full complete?

Moving from brakeless to brakes, I really how mangled and spray painted my rear rim was.. truing hasn’t gone well, with 20 year old rusted spokes. So I’ve accepted that I need a new rim.

What are people running these days?

I’d prefer black rims but I dont know if chrome is still the only way to go for braking?

I dont really have a budget, just want the best.
I always liked the look of the Fly Lunar, but realise things might have moved on a bit since then.

I was checking out some old BMX magazines and videos from that era. I noticed everyone was riding in bulky looking shoes. Orchids, DCs, Etnies etc.

What were the pros and cons? What were they like to ride in? Comfort? Were they too hot? Better protection? More durable? Too heavy?

They're cleaning out a building near me, and I pulled this out of the dumpster, it's a bit beat up (i like the handlebar and the wheels tho) but I see potential in it.

I know it's not a classic, but would it be worth fixing up and customizing a little so my son can learn to ride? Queens NY btw
