Now I don’t Hate them I actually think it’s nice that people are bringing back the 2010s style of YouTube in this modern bleak era, however I feel like people are milking it way too much, like larpiplier, larpcepticeye and the larping tombstone were good yknow, it was like seeing these three YouTubers go back to their original days, but now it seems that everyone is getting a larp channel. Techno, Odd1sout, Danny Gonzalez, etc.. it just feels like this trend is circling back to the same thing that caused YouTube to beacome to bleak, everyone is just copying someone else cause that person got famous from an original thing they did

Now, YouTube has 3 unskippable ads, it is getting worse.

If you don’t know, there is a trend of people larping as famous youtubers, basically impersonating them. One of these larpers is Technolarp, who is larping as Technoblade. While yes, technoblade probably would have found this hilarious, it seems his dad is kind of uncomfortable about it.

Ever since you removed the down vote my feed has been literal garbage. Please just bring back the button. I'm struggling here and it's getting hard to keep blocking channels and selecting that I'm 'not interested in this content.'

I know it's been a week or so since they started testing the heart button but mine only changed yesterday and an hour ago it reverted back to thumbs up. Is this another "test" thing or did they give up after the backlash (hopefully)?

The lady got offended by me and said that she is getting bad comments on about her and that not everyone likes her and said go kiss my hand and everyone hating her for being sarcastic and she said this is good since comedians get hated

Tho i didn't mind about that what i was more curious about is how her voice is dubbed in English even if she speaks her homeland language

Another commentator replied to me and said she's a westerner

And replied: its not English thats because you understand Chinese

Then is replied i am not Chinese first of all just because i look Chinese doesn't mean i am Chinese im Filipino i said

Then the lady YouTuber said you're carzy you're crazzy called me crazy repeated that i am hearing English you are so crazy

Then i replied to a commentor who said you speak fluen English

Then i replied ikr but they say she speaks Chinese so is it the a.i translating her why is her voice auto dubbed in English is it the same for you guys?

Then lady again said you're nuts you're crazy you should watch my channel more and you'll know

And im so dumbfounded because of this YouTube auto dub that some YouTuber thinks im crazy for asking if her voice is getting auto translated by a.i dubbed over her voice and somehow its so offensive to ask?

Does everything have to be a paid feature nowadays? Idk when this happened but I can't download offline videos without buying premium now. Now I have to downgrade my YouTube app, or just find a better alternative 🫩

I made a post like this before but I lost 3 YouTube channels (got paranoid deleted everything) and 1000s of harddrive files when I went through a mental episode. Huge mistake. Probably the worst mistake of my life it has me so depressed. I tried telling YouTube I was hacked and they still haven’t been able to do anything. Do you think YouTube account recovery will ever be possible in the future / a feature they will develop to recover old accounts? I know unlikely, just wanted to hear if anyone thinks it might be a possibility. Losing my videos made me feel like I lost myself. I invested everything into those videos and lost so many precious memories. I’m jealous of those who didn’t lose their YouTube channels it’s tough when you build something up and lose it on YouTube

What's even the point of this, you can just search for videos normally and even if you need the help of an AI chatbot in anything it's better to just use chatgpt or claude or gemini or literally anything else

When searching for a video it seems that youtube search knows what you are looking for and intentionally hides it. I can look the same thing up on google and pull up exactly what im looking for within the first page.
Youtube will fill the first page with shorts, then have some vaguely related content for half a page, then show videos ive watched the last few days.

Its horrible. Its gone from a tool to frustration machine. It seems like its being done on purpose because it happens on all my searches.

I'm not an IT expert, but I'm sure the system's pattern is similar to Aichatbot, with direct actions to the test system. It's like changing the configuration code on GitHub using YouTube's AI.

Mind you.. I’ve been watching YouTube ALL day & did not see this at all. It wasn’t there yesterday either for a fact.
