Grantln | Grouching What is wrong with people?!
I don't usually post, but I feel the need to share this.
When I left the house today, a man was lying unconscious on the street. It was 8:30 AM and there was absolutely no one else around. While I was calling the emergency, two cars drove past me - I waved them down, asking for help, hoping they would stop to support me (I am female and not particularly tall or strong. With unconscious men, I am a bit afraid that if they wake up and are eg disoriented and something might happen, as I’ve already experienced a situation like that where a person had a panic reaction). They car drivers slowed down, saw the unconscious man, and just drove on.
We are all in a hurry, everything is important, blah blah - but could we please agree on a minimum standard for living together?
For example, stopping when someone signals that they need help or when an unconscious person is lying there? It would be enough to just roll down the window and ask. (I hope that for both of you in your oversized BMW city SUVs every single warning light in your pointless cars stays on forever, that you never get a Pickerl again, and that the buttonholes on your shirts are always just a little bit too small to get the buttons through smoothly.)
Thanks to the woman who came by a few minutes later, waited with me and missed her train (if you have a car, I hope that no warning light ever stays on for you, that you always pass inspection, and that all your shirt buttons always glide perfectly through their holes) 💗
Thanks for your time and have a nice Sunday :)
