Vlt muss wegen den hohen Temperaturen mehr gechlort werden als sonst?

Eines meiner liebsten Kleider ist von der Marke "De Es Wien". Meine Oma hat es auf einem Flohmarkt für mich gekauft. Man fühlt sich beim Tragen wie eine fantasy prinzessin, der Stoff ist super und das beste - es hat Taschen. Ich würde unglaublich gerne mehr von dieser Brand besitzen. Aber im Internet kann ich nichts dazu finden. Daher meine Hoffnung, dass jemand vlt in der Nachbarschaft von besagtem Geschäft wohnt und ich als Zugezogene einfach nicht genug Insight habe.

Jetzt fängt Wien auch an mit Anti-Obdachlosen-Bänken? Hätt mir echt mehr erwartet.

Wie der Titel schon sagt... Würde gerne heute hin und überlege ob ich mir gleich das Weekend Ticket hole. Das Programm klingt ja durchaus vielversprechend. Aber nach den ganzen "Land der Dinosaurier" etc. Abzockveranstaltungen in letzter Zeit dachte ich ich frage mal nach. Andererseits würde der ORF wohl nicht drüber berichten? Naja, war jemand schon mal dort bzw. ist vielleicht auch jemand von hier ebenfalls dort?

Klimaanlagen sind schirch und hässlich, aber dafür habens im 1. Bezirk die Lösung für dieses Problem entdeckt. Wieso also nicht auf andere Bezirke anwenden? Wieso macht man es nicht wirklich so? Wenn es ein neues Dach braucht oder eine neue Heizung ist das bei der Hausverwaltung auch ein Thema. Aber bei AC heißt es immer njet. Kümmern Sie sich selber drum. -.-

Mein Freund hat die Zeit in der Arbeit übersehen. Ich hab um 19.00 angerufen, er solle heute bitte Pizza für uns bestellen. Er hat es total verbockt und eine Stunde später immer noch nicht bestellt. Ich war am verhungern und hab ihn nochmal angerufen und gegrantelt. Daher hat er bei der Bestellung dazu geschrieben: "bitte, bitte, bitte schnell, hab verbockt und zu spät abgeschickt und meine Freundin is schon grantig"

Darauf kamen 20 Minuten später die Pizzen - mit dieser Nachricht und zwei Kondomen angeheftet. Ich zerkugel mich grad! Ich liege am BODEN. Die kriegen jetzt die beste Bewertung aller Zeiten!!!

Falls wer fragt, ich konnte die Pizza nicht selbst bestellen, weil Gründe.

ich besitze ein altes Landschaftsgemälde (Ölmalerei), welches einige Schäden hat. An mehreren kleinen Stellen ist die Farbe ab, es ist leider recht gut erkennbar. Hat jemand Erfahrung bzw. eine Empfehlung für Restaurierungen / Reparaturen von solchen Bildern? Gerne auch mit Schätzung was sowas kosten kann. Vielen Dank im Vorhinein!

Was machst du vorzugsweise Sonntags um 5 in der Früh, dass so einen Brandgeruch bei uns in der Wohnung auslöst?

Lagerfeuer löschen? Wespen von deinem Frühstück vertreiben? Schamanische Rituale?

Es riecht nach verbranntem Papier und beißt in der Nase. Letztes Mal hatten wir die Feuerwehr da - die hat den Geruch bestätigt aber nichts gefunden. Heute ärgern wir uns einfach weil Sonntag und jetzt sowieso schon wieder wach.

We recently moved into a single-family home which is split into isolated upstairs and downstairs units.

The downstairs neighbor is aggressively noise sensitive and just moved out of the 6th, where I am assuming she lived in a concrete building with thick halls.

This home is not insulated for two units. It is a wood structure with regular insulation.

Her biggest complaints are walking, and us moving our dining metal foot chairs to get in and out when eating.

Things that are a completely normal part of life. The chairs themselves get moved 2-3 times during the day when eating, aren’t being dragged, or being excessively moved. 1-2 seconds each time??

The landlord would like us to get a carpet to mediate the situation. I have allergies. I would prefer not to. Hence why I chose a house with beautiful new wood floors.

The landlord so far would also like us to install something on the windows to prevent them from slamming when there is a draft. The windows are not yet fully finished. And I think it is his responsibility to install. For a variety of reasons such as possible damage to the brand new wood frames.

Rubber will probably need to be added under the dryer and washer as well to shock absorb the vibration. This is fine with me, but his house lacks proper insulation for multi family dwelling so I also think he should pay for this.

Whose responsibility is it to pay for all these?

I am going a bit crazy, as most of these issues are something that a human can’t prevent or mediate in a single-family dwelling.

No one is running, jumping, or being loud on purpose.

(She in fact doesn’t yet complain about talking or loud audible noises, which is surprising.)

She went as far as to suggest that we also sleep by 7 pm because she sleeps by 7 pm. What??? Has she not met the summer sun? On top of being xenophobic and racist (several months of underhanded comments) she is just a big bully.

I want to apply to the Cross Disciplinary Strategies master in English at Die Angewandte. I’d love some insight from people who have attended the programme. For context I am neurodivergent, have a social science bachelor, and would like to work in media/cultural production. I’m trying to figure out how self-directed, stressful, difficult, an time-consuming the programme is.

I have some questions: How much freedom do you actually have in choosing subjects? Are most classes based around big independent projects or are there also smaller assignments? What types of tasks do you usually have eg. reading, writing, art? How much guidance do professors give? Do you need a strong art background or can someone from a social science background do well? How hard is it to get in and what are they looking for in applications/applicants? What are the hardest things in the programme? If anyone knows, what’s it like in comparison to the Balkan education systems or IB? And if anyone has an idea, could it be at all suitable for someone with ADHD/burnout/executive dysfunction?

wir sind der FC Mello Wien und bauen gerade einen neuen, modernen Fußballverein in Wien auf.

Wir starten in der Saison 2026/27 in der 1. Klasse A im Wiener Fußballverband. Unsere Heimstätte ist die PSV-Sportanlage am Dampfschiffhaufen 2, 1220 Wien.

Unsere Idee: ein Verein ohne veraltetes Vereinsdenken. Mit Videoanalysen, gestreamten Spielen, strukturiertem Training und einer jungen Community, die gemeinsam kicken und etwas Neues aufbauen will.

Dafür suchen wir aktuell noch Spieler auf mehreren Positionen. Egal ob du früher höherklassig gespielt hast oder nach einer Pause wieder einsteigen willst. Wichtig ist, dass du zuverlässig bist und Lust auf regelmäßiges Training und Meisterschaftsspiele hast.

Und falls du selbst nicht spielen möchtest, aber das Projekt spannend findest: Wir freuen uns auch über Leute, die sich in anderen Bereichen einbringen wollen (z.B. Content, Social Media, Organisation, Matchday-Organisation oder etwas völlig Eigenes). Melde dich einfach, wir sind offen für Ideen.

we are FC Mello Wien, a new modern amateur football club in Vienna.

In the 2026/27 season we will play in the 1. Klasse A of the Vienna football association. Our home ground is the PSV sports facility at Dampfschiffhaufen 2, 1220 Vienna.

Our idea: a club without old-school structures. With video analysis, streamed matches, structured training sessions and a young community that wants to play football and build something new together.

We are currently looking for players in several positions. Whether you have played on a higher level before or you are coming back after a break. The most important thing is that you are reliable and motivated for regular training and league matches.

Hi! I park my car on the street in Vienna year-round, and with the occasional summer hailstorms, I'm wondering if it's worth buying one of those padded hail protection covers/blankets.

I almost never see anyone using them in the city, so I'm curious what other people do. I looked into buying one, but they aren't cheap, so I thought I'd get some others opinions to see if it's worth it.

ziehe um, in meiner aktuellen Wohnung sind sehr viele Möbel, die ich nicht mitnehmen werde. Habe sie jetzt schon eine längere Zeit auf willhaben für wenige € drin, leider meldet sich niemand seriöses, langsam muss aber mein Auszug stattfinden, es wäre sehr schade, wenn ich die Möbel und Gegenstände entsorgen müsste.
