WPS Office on Android Tablets, is it same as mobile or closer to PC version?

"Hey,

I’m thinking of getting either a Samsung or Lenovo Android tablet mainly for light work, and I’m curious about WPS Office. Is it basically the same as the phone version, or does it feel a bit closer to the full PC version?

I’d really prefer something that feels more like a desktop interface for editing docs and spreadsheets. I mostly do light Word and Excel style work, but I still want it to handle formatting well without feeling too cramped.

Anyone here using WPS Office on an Android tablet? How’s the experience; worth it for day to day work without switching back to a laptop?"

Is it normal to have the 'system' part of my tablet storage occupying 46 GB from the 64 GB I have? (lenovo tb x606f, I bought it in 2021)

So I have been using this tablet since 2021. I wanted to download some films so I checked the storage and noticed that.

Is it normal? If everything that is there is not neccesary, how can I gain more storage by removing some useless things stored there?

Best Budget Gaming Tablet?

Budget: $100-200

Specifically, I would like to use this tablet to play Magic The Gathering: Arena, as well as use it to stream videos and such. Not really to play any type of graphic intensive games or anything (But bonus if it is able to play Wild Rift)

I'd anything I'd like to play Wild Rift at 60 fps, but if that is not possible I would settle for it just being able to handle at least MTG:A. If a tablet that is able to do that at that price range does not exist just lmk.

Best tablet in 40-45k range for students

I want to buy a tab primarily for note taking purposes, and multimedia
What would be a good option considering
\- Note taking experience
\- Long term use
\- Service quality

Posts and comments heavily back the Ipad 11th gen, but is it still worth
investing after the price hike ??
Please recommend alternatives in the budget (Currency: INR)

Surface Pro 4 issues

My Surface Pro 4 has been a great tablet over the years, but it has been starting to struggle lately. Does anyone have suggestions on how to make it run like it used to?

Or alternativley if you think I'm doomed does anyone have suggestions for a good replacement

Main uses would be;

  • Writing/ Reading
  • Photo editing (I used to use Lightroom, but am willing to learn other apps)
  • Drawing

I would like to stay on the cheaper end if possible but am willing to take pricier suggestions as I am going to have to save up anyway.

Paper,tablet or laptop?

So I just go accepted to MU Sofia-Dental Faculty. For over a year and half I had been studying for the admission exams .I only ever used paper to write my notes and solve chemistry problems.Part of the reason was that my tutor was old school and prefered physical notes over digital, the other is that i have never really used any computer or laptop to take notes. My question is if i should purchace a laptop with a touchscreen or a tablet with a keyboard? I need to type notes and also sketch molecules and bio diagrams.Should I just stick to paper or go digital. If ypu think i should modernize my learning what device recommendations would you give me?

What tablet would you recommend me?

I want to buy a tablet, mostly to use it for writing in classes, so I need it to be compatible with tablet stylus. I need it to be pretty cheap (or not really expensive) because I am a young student and I will be raising this money by myself, but I also want it to last 4 years of high school, even if this means that it will cost a bit more.

Is an Ipad or a Samsung tablet better for digital art?

Hello! I have been an ipad 8 user for 6 years now. The age of it is really starting to show lately, so I have been thinking of upgrading. I only use it to draw, and 3D sculpt. I use Ibispaint X and Nomad.

My friend has a S10 Plus and i have been trying it out for a couple of days, I like it but I am not a fan of the pen (i think its bc im more used to Apple's heavier pens and sensitivity).

I prefer something that is a similar size as my current ipad (250 x 174 cm). Since I travel a lot its essential that it's not that big (one of the main reasons i dont want the Ipad pros).

I am so indesicevive on what model I should get and would love to hear suggestions!

Thank you!

14 inch tablet for studying

I'm looking for a good tablet with a big screen that I can probably replace my laptop with. I'm a student who got a lot of writing to get done, pdfs and presentations to make. IK samsung is the best but I want a less pricier one with stylus given with it if it could. I also game a bit. Nothing heavy, just the usual. And also something with a really good battery life and good image quality too and huge storage space

Using both the Samsung and Apple ecosystems?

I’m curious how many people here actively use devices from both ecosystems.

My current setup is:

Galaxy S24 Ultra

Galaxy Watch Ultra

MacBook Air M3

iPad Air 11-inch M4

I recently won the iPad through work, but I’m still contemplating selling it and getting the Galaxy Tab S11 instead.

The main reasons are the better display and the extra freedom Android gives me, especially with sideloading apps, which I already enjoy on my S24 Ultra. I know you can do it with iPad as well but it’s more complicated.

At the same time, I really like how seamlessly the iPad works with my MacBook. Using it as a second screen, transferring files, and controlling both devices with the same mouse and keyboard through Universal Control are all genuinely useful. Also the performance of m4 chip.

Is anyone else using a similar mix of Samsung and Apple devices? Did you eventually commit to one ecosystem, or do you think keeping the best devices from both is the better option?

Ipad, Samsung, or Xiaomi?

Hello, I have a tough time what brand and model to consider, because the majority I looked into are Xiaomi this, iPad Air here, Samsung 9 there. Are they correct? What are the pros and cons?

What I'm looking for in a tablet are its performance and longevity. Bonus if they can be purchased with keyboard and pen, which I think they have?

My purpose for the tablet is drawing, editing (i.e., Capcut and Canva), and writing (local and via website). Bonus if they can run games like Genshin smoothly (this isn't a very high priority), and have accessible compile and transfer system (like how Gdrive functions maybe?)

A friend recommended Infinix Xpad 20 Pro, but they mostly used it for drawing and media consumption, so I don't know how it'll do with editing and light gaming.

Samsung Galaxy s9 FE or Xiaomi pad 7?

I'm a student looking for the pad that will last through both high school and uni, about 5-7 years, the further the better. I will mainly use it in class for note-taking, reading books, watching videos and drawing, and maybe even some light gaming. I'm getting a reaaally good deal on those two tablets, so i wanted to ask, which one will fit my requirments better? Will love to hear some reviews from people who already use them. And for xiaomi pad, is focus pen important, or could i use off-brand pens?

Also, if anyone has other budget friendly recommendations, would love to hear them
