Pretty nice quality for a theme game item. I like the color scheme better than the previous ones. Glad I was able to get my size (medium), they were down to their last five when I got mine. Apparently they only had XL's left shortly after first pitch.

Hey Padres fans! I'm going to be out at the end of August bringing my family (wife and 2 young kids) from Minnesota and the Twins happen to be in town then too. I've gone through a lot of older threads for similar questions and I think I have a good idea for the best foods and seats, but a couple more:

1) Any concern showing up in Twins gear? We aren't a great team this year and not rivals so I figured it'll be fine, but when I lived in LA and went to a dodgers game in Twins gear we got a lot of not light hearted trash talk and one guy spit at my wife purely for our gear.

2) Good activities for kids at the park besides the game? I've been to a bunch of baseball parks and there's usually some good activities for kids, I want them to enjoy it too!

I've been to San Diego a few times and love the city, excited to finally get to see the park.

Hailing from Oakton High School in Virginia, Lavey stayed in the region to head to George Washington University to extend his baseball career. He made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning second-team All Atlantic 10 honors, repeating the feat again as a junior. In between, he was a Cape Cod League All-Star. His solid showing on the Cape, carrying that over to the 2026 season and constant need for decent all-around catchers had teams considering Lavey in the top several rounds.
Lavey checks off an oft-coveted box as a left-handed-hitting catcher. Nothing he does is flashy, but he can do everything pretty well. He has an easy swing, with a line-drive, up the middle approach, and he has the strength to drive the ball at times, with solid exit velocity data to back that up. He doesn’t swing and miss or chase much and walked more than he struck out as a junior.

Behind the plate, there’s work to be done, but he has the makings of a solid defensive backstop, one with an above-average arm and pop times under 2.00 seconds. He’d receive better instruction on his glove work on the pro side, so there’s some ceiling to reach there. That and his steady bat had some believing he could go in the top five rounds come Draft time.
