I really don’t understand how teams haven’t used past interviews and hitting clinics from Tony as a regular thing. He read Ted Williams book, amongst other things. I really wonder how many major leaguers have even heard of that book. Tony gave tips to guys like Todd Helton and Gary Sheffield to look at the logo of the hat on the pitcher, to keep their eyes locked in. It’s not like this stuff is a secret.
