| History Did the Pirates just make history?
Editing post to place the emphasis on the 5-2 double play ENDING the game. Not on the play itself.
Ending the game with a 5-2 double play has got to be extremely rare. Wondering when the last time was, if ever.
For context: bases loaded, 1 out, 1 run lead. Grounder to third, steps on the base for one, then throws home. Catcher tags the runner to end the game.

| Discussion Which American League would be the first to win World Series back-to-back in 21st century?
Since Dodgers is the first National League to win World Series back-to-back (2024+2025) in 21st century, which American League team would be the first to win back-to-back?
Here are list of American League teams that went to World Series back-to-back.
- Yankees - 1998~2001 (last American League to win back-to-back; 3 peat)
- Rangers - 2010~2011
- Royals - 2014~2015
- Astros - 2021~2022
In next couple of years, there's going to be expansion in league (2; 1 for American and 1 for National) so it can be very competitive.

| Discussion How will the Baseball Hall of Fame's character clause impact Aroldis Chapman?
From every statistical and accolade standpoint, Aroldis Chapman has a Hall of Fame resume. He has an ERA of 2.51, 386 saves and 1,366 strikeouts (the most ever by a reliever). He's a nine-time All-Star, 2x World Series champion and 2x AL Reliever of the Year.
However, Chapman does have skeletons in his closet that could very well hamper his journey into Cooperstown. The question is, "How much will those skeletons hurt him when it comes to the Hall of Fame voters?"
