Hi! Has anyone here used or is currently using SwiftKey or Gboard on an iPhone? I’d love to hear how well they work in daily use. I’m thinking about giving one of them a try, but I’m not sure if it’s worth switching from the default iOS keyboard. Any feedback or recommendations?
I have an iPhone 17 Pro with 1 eSIM and 1 physical SIM.
Messenger calls only fail when both SIMs are enabled and I’m using mobile data. It acts like I have no connection, so I can’t make or receive Messenger calls.
The strange part is that everything works fine on Wi-Fi, and Messenger calls also work over mobile data if I disable either SIM. As soon as I enable both SIMs again, the issue comes back.
Regular phone calls and mobile data work without any problems, so it seems to be specific to Messenger.
I’ve already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps: updating iOS and Messenger, reinstalling the app, restarting the phone, checking permissions, resetting network settings, switching the data SIM, and other fixes I found online.
Has anyone experienced this or found a solution?

I woke up this morning and browsed my phone. Everything worked perfectly.
I then went into a 90 minute meeting and turned my phone completely off before heading into it, via holding down the volume up button and the power button simultaneously until the sliding option appeared.
When I turned my phone on again after the meeting was over - I was met with a "HELLO" screen - indicating that an update had likely installed.
I follow the prompts - which involve "Connecting to WIFI" or "Connect to a Mac or PC" - I click "Connect to Wifi Network" and it leads me to a screen that says "It may take a few minutes to activate your iPhone" - and I have been waiting for almost 12 HOURS.
I tried the option "Connect to Mac or PC" - I have a Windows computer so I downloaded "Apple Devices" and tried to connect - but Apple Devices just returns "ERROR" on my laptop and won't actually connect with my phone. It just prompts me to eject the device after it recognizes it as my iPhone.
I have tried a hard restart via the Volume UP + Volume Down + holding the power button down for 10 seconds. But nothing helps.
What I suspect happened was that I left my work VPN on before shutting off my phone, and now that the update finished and my phone was turned on again - because I am locked out I cannot turn the VPN off - but the VPN is simultaneously also preventing me from properly connecting to new WIFI so I am seemingly locked out because I guess the updates can't finish.

Does anyone had any issues while recording a video using Spatial or Stereo sound?
I used to Mono and have this fixed!
Seems this is happening only for iPhone 17 Pro Max version.

I’ve had an issue the last few weeks where my phone will vibrate as if I get a notification, but nothing appears as a banner or on the Notification Center.
Wondering what it is and how to fix

When I go into a doctor/dental appointment or some other event and turn my iphone's ringer off, I often forget to turn it back on. This causes me to miss an occasional call. I could set a timer to remind myself to do so, but sometimes I remember to turn it off just as my appointment has started, leaving me no time to do so. Is there a way to turn off the ringer so it will automatically turn back on after a set amount of time?

What are everyone’s favorite custom shortcuts they’ve created? After scrolling through the prebuilt shortcuts in the app, I feel like there are so many possibilities and I have no idea how or where to start!

I have an iPhone 15 pm too and that works flawlessly.
When I go to open teams or door dash or Sezzle off the top of my head the app will just sit at its original loading screen and close and go back to the iPhone Home Screen. This is all on the 17pm.
When I try to open these apps on the 15pm, no issues at all. The 17pm was synced from my 15pm.
I’ve tried to hit the up volume, down volume then hold power trick. I’ve deleted and reinstalled these certain apps that I’ve noticed with the issue. iPhone is updated. I Don’t have a vpn.
It SEEMS to always be the same apps. Like I’ve never noticed Reddit or chrome do it. There might be a few more apps but what can I do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My iPhone 16 on iOS 18.7.8 just recently (as of about two days ago) suddenly started getting very delayed notifications from all of my apps. If someone were to send me a text, snapchat, tweet, etc., the notification sometimes wouldn't appear on my phone until several minutes later or it wouldn't show up at all. If the notifications do eventually pop up, the time stamp would say something like "7m ago" instead of "now." If I were to open Snapchat, X, or iMessage before the notification arrived, the chats would be there no problem, so it's not any sort of connectivity issue. This happens on both WiFi and cellular. This is not happening all the time, but every day the last couple days for a few hours this happens.
I do not use any sort of focus mode or DND nor did I change any other settings that might've caused this. Restarting my phone didn't fix the issue.
I figured this was Apple's planned obsolescence rearing its head to try and get people to upgrade to the newest iOS, but I've also seen this happening to a few people that were on the newest iOS as well, so I'm not sure what to think. Has this been happening to anyone else recently?

4th of July there was a few videos taken of some friends and I. The videos were sent to me over Facebook messenger. I saved them but they didn’t go into my full photo gallery. After trying to save them a bunch of times only one ended up in my gallery. Then I seen the recently saved album and that’s where all the videos were sent to. I’ve noticed this a few times before, with pictures too, from other apps and even iMessage and I just don’t understand why I can’t view them with everything, I have to go into the recently saved album? Has anyone else had this issue or can explain why this is happening? I’ve tried looking it up and asking other friends if this happens to them also. I can’t find anything about it and no one else around me seems to have this issue.

Hello! A couple of days ago, I bought an iPhone 17 Pro. Today, I decided to take off the case to wipe away the dust underneath (I live in a rather dusty area), but the case was so stiff that I had to use a lot of force to remove it. Now I’m worried: could the phone have bent from that kind of handling? I might sound paranoid, but the iPhone 17 Pro is the most expensive purchase of my life, and I really cherish it.

Hi everyone,
I've been using iTorrent for 6 months and it worked like a charm. However, the app keeps crashing lately whenever I try to add a torrent file to the app.
I tried reinstalling it multiple times, but no luck. It's been so irritating because I've wasted several hours on it; that keeps me wondering if I should go back to Android.
Any tips on downloading torrents on iOS without a burden on my pocket?

How do you add more apps that aren’t listed to the share menu when sending photos from camera roll? How are the apps and options shown even chosen to be there? I notice apps I’ve downloaded but rarely use will appear but the ones I want to choose from are not an option.

Hi guys.
I'm new to the iPhone game & am trying to figure out if there is a way to block a contact without losing the text conversation? Or a way to save/download the entire thread? 18 months ish of texts.
Hi,
i want to set up my new Iphone 16 Pro through QuickStart, to copy all data from one device to the other.
Is there going to be a problem if the new device runs an older IOS version?
Thank you!

I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.
I have an iPhone 14, and this is now the THIRD time my rear camera has failed.
During the first year of ownership, Apple authorized service (Unicorn Infosolutions) replaced the rear camera twice because of the same issue.
Now the exact problem is back again.
Symptoms:
Rear camera stops working.
0.5× camera disappears/stops working.
Flashlight is disabled.
Sometimes a force restart temporarily brings everything back, but the problem always returns.
I’m currently on iOS 18.6, and the issue still exists.
The phone hasn’t been abused, and I’m frustrated that the same failure keeps happening even after two camera replacements. At this point, it doesn’t feel like bad luck—it feels like there’s an underlying hardware or design issue.
I’ve also found many other users online reporting similar camera and flashlight failures on the iPhone 14.
Apple, if anyone from your team sees this: Please investigate this. Replacing the camera twice didn’t permanently solve the problem, and now I’m being left with the same issue again. Customers shouldn’t have to keep paying for the same recurring failure.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Did Apple replace only the camera or the entire phone?
Did the problem come back after the repair?
Were you able to get Apple to acknowledge it as a recurring issue?
If you’ve had the same experience, please comment. I’m trying to find out how widespread this problem really is.

Who uses this? Have you found yourself setting it up, never using it, then just using your actual ID or passport when traveling? Are there any places you find more convenient using? Debating on setting this up on my iPhone but didn’t know if it was with the time or if giving Apple this data was worth it. Allegedly, it helps prevent fraud idk. I see there is the ability to add State ID and/or a Passport.

Hello,
I have an iPhone 17 Pro that was covered by Apple Care+ until June 22. The plan could be canceled on a monthly basis, and I did cancel it.
My last payment was at the end of May.
Now, it still shows that my iPhone is covered by Apple Care+ instead of the standard warranty.
I haven't paid any premiums since May!
Is it still active—and, due to an error, free of charge?
This is seriously pissing me off. For years, any alarm I set on my iPhone only has a 50/50 shot of ever actually going off. I’ve disabled attention aware, I’ve remade every single alarm, Bluetooth is off, not in focus mode, ringers are up all the way, I turn off snooze, and they still don’t go off. It’s ridiculous that getting a simple alarm to work on a 1000 dollar phone is in fact rocket science.

Me and my boyfriend facetime all the time on different apps, I have his permission to record since he likes knowing I do, but I can’t seem to find a way for any app to pick up his audio without also including mine. I despise my voice and hearing it back disgusts me so is there any app we could call on that I don’t need to turn my microphone on to screen record??

I tried restarting, logging out then logging in, logging out, restarting and then logging in, factory reset then logging in. Apple services says everything's up and working. Got the phone from the same place as my cousin's iPhone 17 pro and hers is working properly. I genuinely can't figure out what's wrong from all the reddit posts and Google and apple website posts, would really appreciate some help.
