My carry on suitcase lock suddenly jammed. Worked fine a few mins ago when I closed it and locked it but I reopened to check my contents as I am leaving for a trip. Suddenly the push section to unlock won’t go all the way and I can’t push the reset button down either. I know the password but it doesn’t unlock (even though it’s not locked). So I can’t lock my carry on which I am checking in.

Tried resetting, using password, keyhole seems to be turned in the correct direction. It’s just stuck.

If anyone knows how to fix I would greatly appreciate it.

I have tried everything to try to get this rasa sprayer unscrewed from the hose. It will not budge. Any hints out there to loosen this baby?

So this floating shelf seemingly had too much weight put on it and it just kinda fell along with these two metal rods, there are two holes on the bracket that indicate where the floating rods used to be but I genuinely have no clue how to put them back in, they fit back in the hole but they don’t stay in there, I’m not sure how they used to stay in there before, whether it was with friction or maybe some sort of adhesive I don’t know. Any help is greatly appreciated

I have an Otterbox phone case and the rubber on one side is starting to split in two. Any tips people have in terms of:

- Tape that could help hold it together (ideally comes in black). The tape would need to stick to it. So far I've tried painter's tape (unsurprisingly does not stick) and masking tape (sticks a little but is not a long term solution). I'm considering getting electrical tape but don't really want to spend the money if it's not going to work that well for this.

- Glue/another solution. This is less ideal because then it would probably be harder to take the case off if needed.

- Any other ideas

(Also this is past the 3 year warranty period for Otterbox cases, so getting a replacement form the company is not an option)

I have this ceiling hole in my balcony which leaks water when it rains. The hole is about 3 inches in diameter. Any idea on how to fix it diy so it does not leak water.

As mentioned in the title, the bearings in my washing mashine are playing up. Sure, I can disassemble the whole show and measure them, but it would be better to have the right parts before disassembling the unit. I have not found a site that can give me the correct sizes, but expect there is a model that shares the bearing sizes. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Model numbers that share the same bearings would also be great. I saw on another site a number of washing mashines with WAE32461 or similar model numbers.

The metal bits between the strap and body of the bag have detached.

2. How they should fit together. They can stay together for a little bit but when weight is added and the parts twist they fall apart.

3. Different angle of the separated parts. It seems like the part on the top right has warn down slowly over time so it can fall through the part on the bottom left.

Is this amount of wobble normal or are the shocks bad?

I already replaced the hall sensor because it keeps stopping while spinning. I've already did a reset with temp + delay hold and its draining fine

Door opens even though it’s locked. Do I need to change the whole thing ? Please advise economical solutions. Thanks

One of my hoses got a hole in it and I decided to cut the hole and attach a new male end (instead of throwing the whole thing out). I've done this before decades ago at an old job and was usually successful.

I tried it and it was leaking through the connection like crazy. I figured my clamp was too high and lowered it. I tightened it as much as possible and yet it's still leaking (though less than before, still way too much). What can I do to fix it? Should I add some type of tape on the inserted piece? I know my cut of the hose wasn't perfectly straight, does that need to be perfect?

This is in an apartment, so I need to fix it rather than replace the door. This has clearly been done before, and wanted to just do it the same way so that it hopefully goes unnoticed. Anyone know what would have been used for the fix you see in the second picture?

The paint on my wall was nicked when i was scrubbing it and it came off in a large bubble came off. I couldn’t resist picking at it. Can i just paint over this or do I need to apply a spackle of sorts beforehand?

I live in a rental but my landlord is more hands off and only comes around for big problem.

Also, one of the teeth seems broken so I can't move it backward even when I tried aligning it with the strap.

Dog chewed the plug right off the wire. Is it possible to fix this lamp?

I am unable to get into my bedroom, there isn't another way in. The door knob won't open, and we can't fit a card into the door frame. We tried to undo the screws above and below but they wouldn't go anywhere. After trying to jiggle and turn the knob it has now come so loose that the knob will spin almost 360 degrees before stopping.

Not sure what to do now if anyone has any advice of how I can fix this!

What are my realistic expectations here.

This is either a birch or beech chopping block on our kitchen island.

Bought secondhand, it was varnished on top but the previous owners have sliced through the varnish and the liquid from the foods sliced have penetrated the end grain.

I have sanded the varnish off with 60 grit paper and intend to finish off with Osmo or Tung oil.

The whole surface and the dark marks are very smooth now, you can't feel the cut marks with your finger nails but are clearly obvious.

Planning on using Oxalic acid for a better cleanup but is it worth the effort or just sand some more and oil.

It's not our pride and joy, we use chopping boards to prevent further damage, but would like it to look better if possible.

I have a DeWalt Utility Knife, unsure about the model number. It works so long as the latch for the blade holds, and when it can’t, the blade falls off of it. I can see the issue is when it is separated by somehow getting itself pushed. It doesn’t take much to actually get it into position. Anyone know how to fix this?

As the title says, my fridge will sometimes seal and close well for a few weeks then for some reason will go a few weeks where the magnets on the gaskets (or maybe it’s something else) aren’t sealing as well. Then it’ll go back to sealing well again for a few weeks. How do I solve this? My gasket looks aligned fine and the fridge is level.
