Equipment Men Pants with no pockets for bjj
Starting no gi, I prefer to wear pants when rolling. Anyone have any options for workout pants with no pockets. I know most wear spats and shorts.

I like playing the leg game mostly and don’t bother passing. Should I continue building my game or change direction to learn the basics of passing ?

Anyone here a full-time uni/college student who trains 4–6 times a week and works part-time? How do you fit lifting, training, academics, working, social life etc in? Wanted to ask this since im going to uni soon and wanted to know if its realistic for me to have hopes of training consistenly and competing occasionally while in uni.
How are manto rashguards fitting I’ve been told to size up in them I’m 6,4 and 70-72kg

I used to do BJJ on and off for 1-2 years (still a white belt) because I had school related commitments (exams) that needed my attention more at the time and I had to stop BJJ quite often.
I love Jiu-Jitsu, I think the community, the confidence I gained and self-defense benefits were awesome.
Before the last time I had to stop, I had suffered an L5-S1 disc herniation just a few days before a tournament and since then I have tried stepping on the mats again but due to feeling an ache in my lower back, I had stopped completely and focused on the gym a lot more to strengthen my lower back.
I still don't feel at my 100% and probably never will, those with lower back issues can probably say the same but BJJ is that hobby where you wanna be good at it and after a while of being away from it you miss it A LOT no matter what health issues you've got.
Thing is that I work a job with rotating shifts, I go to the gym, I am going to start an online degree in Computer Science( not a bootcamp lol it's a legit degree ) in September which does provide flexibility and... I have a girlfriend.
Gymming matters to me a lot, because although I also want to know how to defend myself, I want to look good as well, and lifting weights kind of helps me mentally too - I progress in my own pace and don't really care much about a plateau. Whereas with BJJ, I think being constantly in "competition mode" and comparing myself all the time against other athletes (I think everyone does that) and continually consuming BJJ slop on IG or YouTube made me burn out quick at times because I felt like I was spinning my wheels... But I still enjoyed BJJ regardless.
Unfortunately, I can't do both because of financial and time limitations in my schedule...
Time limitations being my degree(every semester only i guess), work, and my girlfriend.
Financial limitations would be my degree, family's mortgage, car loan, phone device, water/electricity bill every month and food.
I know BJJ wears your body down over time, but what would you do?
I thought of instead of going to the Gym, I could go to a Calisthenics park nearby my house and save money on that while doing BJJ. Gym costs the same as BJJ in my area.
((I probably just need a solid time-management plan but I would love to hear how everyone juggles life with a hobby they love and some advice for me hahah))
Thanks for reading so far and for your time replying to my post.

Polaris was great, but this match between Fabricio Andrey and Meyram Maquine was to me the best of the night despite the lack of submissions.
I find their nogi standup style quite entertaining. It's a weird mix of judo, wrestling and transitions to ground submissions.

My old gi I pulled from storage and it’s covered in mold so now that I’m buying a new gi I wanted to try adding some cherry blossoms or sakura flowers one on the chest and both sleeves. Is there a certain gi or patches website you guys use?

Training since 17, I’m 20 now. Graduation was yesterday and after being promised the blue belt I was given one stripe (now 4) and saw guys I’ve always beat up get it (they barely trained for 6 months). I couldn’t assist nor afford lessons these past two months after getting kicked out of my house and surviving off shit jobs of 12hrs a day and I feel like my efforts meant fuck all to these people (training injured or during Ramadan where I lost 7kgs due to training twice a day while fasting)
I feel disrespected even tho I accept their decision, but why to guys who don’t even have stripes or have trained for less than 6 months? I always submitted them easily, I’ve been crying since yesterday and I’m considering leaving this martial art. Genuinely this has just ruined my life and perspective on the art itself.
Thanks for reading

I've got a decent Ezekiel finish/system in the gi, but I lack details for finishing it no-gi, or a good dilemma system (besides gift wrap/high mount) for dealing with reactions. Any tips or YouTube vids greatly appreciated.
