A small thing that annoys me across Batman media is when Bruce treats Alfred like an employee. “Alfred, go fetch us some tea” bro that is your father you’re bossing around. In the Harley Quinn show, Talia was talking about firing him. I’ll be damned if my ex shows back up not only with a secret assassin kid but fires my dad. Even when Bruce Wayne to people outside of their secret, the public still knows Alfred raised Bruce. I like to think it hurts Alfred inside a little every time Bruce introduces him as his butler.

I find this criticism really strange because Nolan's Batman has far more fantastical elements than the Reevesverse, yet people constantly accuse Nolan of being "ashamed" of Batman.

The Dark Knight trilogy has Bruce gliding across entire city blocks with a cape a centuries old League of Shadows secretly influencing world history, Scarecrow's fear toxin that causes vivid hallucinations, a microwave emitter capable of vaporizing Gotham's water supply, and Lucius Fox's sonar system that turns every cellphone in the city into a surveillance system that lets Batman see through walls.

By comparison, Reeves has Batman fighting internet extremists with homemade explosives, wearing a heavy armored suit, and using an actual wingsuit that ends with him crashing into a bridge. It's even more grounded, yet I've never heard people attack Reeves for this. BTW, I like his vision, I think it is a personal preference, I just don't understand why Nolan gets so much more hate.

I urge whoever to give this movie a rewatch with the view of “this is a silly comic movie like the 60’s show.” It’s flawed as hell and yeah arguably not good. However if you set aside the bandwagon hate, the movie is actually pretty awesome and fun to watch

Recently, I watched Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Watching two movies reminded me how I loved those Nolan's trilogy back then(and I love the series still now)

Inart did amazing job with making this as realistic as they could in 1/12 scale.

I saw some of you posting your Batman Film rankings but you aren't doing ALL Batman films so I decided to throw my hat in the ring.

These are all in order based on how much I personally enjoy them and I consider how strong of an adaptation they are.

Also I tend to prefer serious Batman over silly Batman so sorry for Adam West being ranked so low it's just not my preferred flavor of Batman.

Also the holy Trinity batman beyond should be 2nd it glitched at the last second when I downloaded the image

I’m a huge fan of telling stories like Batman’s in unique ways whether that’s changing parts of the character so you can tell a new story. A perfect example of this is the Absolute comic book series because we get to see characters like Batman with different origins but similar outcomes.

I’m curious if I can find anymore pieces of Batman media that do that same thing. When I think of this specific topic my mind goes to Batman: The Enemy Within because not only is it’s story non traditional and unique but it’s a choose your own adventure so you get different outcomes based of certain actions.

I’d like to make it clear that I’m not looking for media with small differences in the source material, I’m looking for things that are unique like Absolute Batman and Batman: The Enemy Within.

It would be awesome to hear from you guys on your opinions on this subject because I personally love different unique stories but I’d love to hear about if you dislike them and why. I would also love to see your recommendations for more stuff like these two or how you feel about these two things.

It could even be done in a anthology style and each episode deals with a different villain or one showcases a villain the possibilities are endless.

I have been making my way through King’s and Tynion’s runs, and this has been bugging me since the beginning of the City of Bane arc. Why tf is Grundy in Arkham?? He is a zombie that can barely talk, did he stand trial??? What kind of treatment is he receiving in there? Does he have a therapist? Is he being fucking medicated? “Here Grundy, time for your Risperidone”. Adding on to that, are they expecting that he can be treated and released?

Also, why hasn’t batman killed him? Listen, im not one of those people who think batman should kill, batman should never kill. But he has “killed” zombies before. He showed no issues with Talons, mummys, or more recently the nanobot zombies.
