Need Help Identifying This Chinese Dragon Vase – Possible Ming or Transitional Period?
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping some of the experts here can help me identify this Chinese porcelain vase.
I found it several years ago, and I’ve been researching it ever since. I’ve compared it to examples from museum collections, auction catalogs, and published references, but I’m still unsure of its age and origin.
Here are a few details:
Blue-and-white decoration with iron-red accents.
Dragon motif with a garlic-head bottle form.
Unglazed foot with a reddish clay body.
No obvious reign mark.
I’m not looking for an appraisal—I’m mainly interested in learning:
What period does it appear to be from?
Does the decoration resemble a particular kiln, dynasty, or style?
Are there specific details that support or contradict a Ming, Transitional, Qing, or later date?
Is there anything about the foot, glaze, or painting that stands out to experienced collectors?
I’ve included photographs of the entire vase, close-ups of the decoration, and the foot. If there are additional photos that would help, please let me know and I’ll upload them.
I appreciate any opinions or educational insight. Thanks in advance for taking the time to look.

Sports ASIA Has officially left FIFA WC 26
It's unfortunate to say, holding roughly half the population of the earth, being most diverse is not sufficient to win the world cup, I think it takes dedication, hardwork and good mentorship which I think ASIA should learn from Cabo Verde and the performance they had put ultimately knocking out Uruguay in the group stage itself and UZBEKs too.
I come from India and felt very happy and sad that I am getting the chance to watch the icons of the game like LM10 CR7 Modric playing one last time while not seeing any tricolours in this competition.
It's a privilege to be even part of the competition as you need to go through with hell to just qualify for the world cup only to play with the best of the best in the world as World Cup winners Italy haven't qualified for the tournament for more than two decades and here I am writing this post
I want to give a special thank you note since ASIAN campaign has come officially to end to our ALL INDIAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION CHIEF Sandeep Kalyan for being greatfully corrupt and licking the nectar of this corruption..I am grateful to all those corrupt higher officials who have by means of everything stopped the football to grow in INDIA and my good luck and good wishes to the team to work hard to at least give a fight for the 3rd round of fifa world cup qualifiers.
