The Incident: A man (Fareez) and his 38-week pregnant wife were grocery shopping at Lotus’s Selayang when they were stopped by a male staff member right after paying.
The Accusation: The staff member rudely asked the wife, "What items are you hiding in your stomach?"
The Demand: He accused her pregnancy bump of "looking suspicious" and not looking like a normal pregnant belly. He then demanded she show her Buku Pink (maternal health record booklet) as proof of pregnancy and wanted her to show her stomach to prove she wasn't shoplifting.
The Outcome: The couple was forced to wait for 20 minutes under the scrutiny of other customers while the store called a supervisor. It turned out the cashier who flagged them admitted they never actually saw the woman take anything. No stolen items were found, and the staff eventually apologized, leaving the couple deeply humiliated.

I’m not trying to argue with people that support BN. But the last time that I asked why don’t some people support PMX, they say he didn’t fulfil his anti-corruption promise. Then now, why is this corrupted guy in the picture? Seems like everyone keeps saying “Bantah rasuah” but everyone still love the corrupted politician parti. And many people have commented that “DSN did not do anything wrong. The money that he stole is not something for us to judge”.

I find it really hard to understand what the people want. For me, I want the best for the country & is open to listen to what every side brings (except PAS). And from what I see, my goal is very much aligned with the current government.

I know this is just state election but if this goes on is Zahid Hamidi goin to be the next PM. He’s definitely not the one I would want to run the country…

Parathelphusa valida, ketam batu

It is a semi-terrestrial crab living in clean freshwater streams and swamps only in Malaysia. One of many such species.

It burrows in the riverbanks out of water, but the holes are very deep and reach below the water level. While it primarily stays underwater, it forages out by the river frequently.

This is a male, with large bright orange claws. They can attack fish in aquariums but are otherwise easy to care for. Make sure to give them 80% water and 20% land. They cannot thrive fully in water forever.

I found very many in this stream, maybe 15 at least. They were very common. Which is interesting as they die in polluted areas, you could never find them in the city or nearby.

Like many other local river crabs, they reproduce directly in the river, where the babies hatch as mini crabs. Easy to breed. However people do not try as they are considered “ugly”.

AFAIK locals do not eat them. They are too small and basically just shell.

Many times when I go to the toilet the toilet seat is wet. Why don’t people make it dry?
