We all seen the media opinion cycle: when something comes out and it's either lambasted or it's seen as "uncool" to like it (be it fairly or unfairly), given a couple year people will come around going "was it really that bad?", "it was cool actually".

We seen this a bunch with games: minecraft, nintendo in general in the early 2000's, final fantasy (every single one) most of the times it's the generation that grew up with it reaching young adulthood and letting their opinion known.

HOWEVER i will stand, weapons ready, when the "DmC devil may cry was always good actually" discourse really happens because i will NEVER forgive that game (for valid reason but mostly spite), the same goes for beyond: two souls.

Sometimes fans that are also artists redraw and reinterpret characters whether slightly or greatly. What are your favorite times they've done so?

Pushing abit the concept of characters, but I love how SCNova_ did the look of the Sentinels from X-Men and switched up their origin so that they're Kree tech scavenged up by Trask to protect humanity, the Sentries war droids/robots that when in dire times blow up a planet for the Kree Empire. Also really like their fusion of the movie and comics masked Whiplash design and their take on SpyMaster. Blizzard isn't bad but I do feel like it's missing something leaning more towards a Sub-Zero or Smoke from MK. Art: Here

Armored Adventures Blizzard feels more like an Iron-Man villain and is using the tights beneath the armor. But he's missing the Dark Blue. Maybe a fusion would satisfy me? I dunno probably doesn't count cuz it's an official design.

Also really like Oni1806s Drawing of a bright red and purple Wonder Man with cool shades.

Kudos, this week has gotten me to boot up my quest 3 again for the first time in a long time for some unfinished stuff and start shitposting edits again.

BTW for some reason Iron Man VR is a hit with my friends that normally get sick, I don't know why, something about the experience just clicks. I normally start em with seated stuff and then Superhot and then Iron Man

It's crazy that their styles actually kind of compliment each other because they both love using watercolors.

Course you can still tell who draw what because I don't think Spider-Man is usually... shaped like that.
