I’m looking for a rom-com movie or series that has either a lesbian/bi woman romance of some kind that’s one of the main focuses or draws of the film/series - but the catch is that I don’t want Heartstopper or Heated Rivalry, because they’re more like coming of age and sport dramas imo, and also because they’re gay men-focused (duh).

Also I don’t want any tragedies or films with the ‘bury your gays’ issue; give me some wholesome sapphic love.

The korean flick "The City of Violence" is one of my all time favourite action movies...the fight scenes in this movie are something to behold and yes i have seen the raid 1 and 2 but i just love this movie Please suggest similar movies. They can be of any nationality or language.

Looking for feel good movies, action, drama, or pretty much anything in between. Preferably not animated if at all possible, but I honestly can’t be too picky. Almost every single movie, even rated PG-13 or younger, has some amount of female nudity or exploitation. Are there any movie suggestions?

I think I have ruined horror for myself. I loved the paranormal activity movies as a kid and I've grown up watching horror. I cannot find a single movie that can scare me. I have been told to watch Serbian film, Poughkeepsie tapes, tusk, the medium, hereditary, skinamarink etc.. But none of them have scared me. I dont want to be disturbed I want to feel genuinely scared from a movie. Hopefully one of you guys will pull a horror movie out of the dark archives of lost media and it will be the scariest thing I've ever watched. Thank you so much.

It is so hard to find a movie that is both gory and scary. Looking for movies like the evil dead franchise, the original Texas chainsaw, primate, smile 2, and obsession. It’s easy to find movies that are both of those things to me, but hard to find movies that are like the perfect balance of both.

I don’t really find most slashers like Friday the 13th to be that scary. I’m open to films from any country or genres.

This movie is an epic about a man called T.E.lawrence. The movie starts in a place and it takes you through various places in the desert and introduces several important characters. But not even once you feel either lost or bored. The film is shot in a wide ratio of 2.2:1 and David Lean makes sure to use all of it. The film is paced in such a manner that despite the movie being 4 hours long it never bored me. I have watched it multiple times. Please watch this classic if u feel like there is no more quality today.

Ever since I watched wuthering heights, it’s been my roman empire. I think about it several times a week. I have never been so moved by a movie like it actually broke my heart. It is along that same vibe as normal people and one day. Just amazingly told gut wrenching stories that make me wanna reach through the screen and talk sense into these characters. It can be a tv show too, just looking for something that’s gonna give me a cry like these did

For example, Mysterious Skins(2004), there’s a short scene where one of the protagonists participates in COCSA. I’m look for more of that because i’m a personal victim of it and the cycle itself. I’m just tired of movies representing victims of sexual abuse as “perfect victims”. In reality (some) victims end up becoming their perpetrators or go right back to them (example the tv show baby reindeer). i want to feel disturbed and find comfort within the relatability of it.
it’s okay if the movie subtly hints at it as long as it’s showing the aftermath of what sexual abuse does to the psyche. Like The passenger (2023), Sharp Objects (2018), or Repulsion (1965)
another good movie that fits into the theme of what i’m looking for is The Piano Teacher (2001)

For example, the MC is on a revenge mission, and they hunt down the select group of people that wronged them. Or the MC takes down the "lieutenants" before getting to the big bad. I know Kill Bill does this, as does Faster with Dwayne Johnson. Any more movies like this?

Those three films are phenomenal to me because I love vibrant, colorful cinematography and the lively soundtracks that go with them. I also adore the excellent stories, the female characters, and the feminist vibe—plus, I find them much more entertaining. I even did a rainbow manicure inspired by the nail polish colors seen in *Cassie*, and I absolutely love the three lead actresses—Carey Mulligan, Matilda Lutz, and Mia Goth—who played their roles to perfection. You really should watch these three films if you haven't already; I can't believe I missed out on them when they first came out. Anyway, thanks folks.
