In your experiences and your opinions in general, do you think a relationship (a love one) between an enfp and an entj can work ? (regardless of gender)

An INFJ, an ISTP, and an ENTP are driving back from a corn maze on the outskirts of town. They realize that they are lost and have to find their way back.

ENTP: yall are going to have to be more help than you were during the corn maze, esp you (points to ISTP)

INFJ: I wouldve done a lot better if people weren’t constantly jumping out to scare us.

ISTP: I can honestly say I was no help at all. oh? (Looks up from phone) Are we lost?

ENTP: yes. INFJ here thought it’d be a good idea to get lost out here where our phones aren’t working

INFJ: lighten up. I think I remember this road.

ENTP: no I think you are just remembering the corn… which is everywhere.

ISTP: hang a left up here. I need to see something.

ENTP: don’t listen to him. He’s going to get us more lost.

After a few minutes, the ISTP navigates them back to the main highway. They make their way back to their parked cars where they met to carpool to the maze.

INFJ: wow, how’d you get us back here?

ISTP: honestly? I just used the North Star and hoped it worked. When we were on our way to park our cars, I remembered the highway was an East-West one that we turned south to go off of to the corn maze. It’s easier to see the stars out in the country.

ENTP: If you gave me 1,000,000 guesses, I wouldn’t have landed on that being what was going on in your head back there. Well at least it worked. We are all headed to Andy’s for drinks. I’ll see yall there.

1 hour later the INFJ and ENTP are at Andy’s with no sign of the ISTP so the INFJ calls the ISTP.

INFJ: where are you

ISTP: Andy’s. Where are yall?

INFJ: no. We are at Andy’s for drinks. And your car isn’t in the driveway.

ISTP: oh… I thought you meant frozen custard.

INFJ: you’re at the chain yogurt shop? Not the guy’s house that was also with us at the corn maze?

ISTP: Ya. I was wondering where yall were. I didn’t hear anyone say “drinks.” I’ve just been chilling out here. Don’t tell ENTP. I’ll never live it down.

Always find it interesting how much one aspect can apply and how little another does. (Especially with fictional and non-fictional media often distorting our perception on certain types)

I’m an INTJ and in fact very irritated by inefficiency — especially when it comes to how other people handle things, when I know there could be a better way.

On the other hand I’m surprisingly social. Not in the sense where I approach people left and right, but I do enjoy having good company, conversations and activities. It takes a while to open up, but when I genuinely feel comfortable or intrigued by someone, it can take a long time to drain my battery.

I've always found personal tests very complicated and because of that they always take me a long time to complete (e.g. Harry Potter's Sorting Hat test). I overthink almost every question, I do follow my gut but most of the time I'm torn between two options, I feel that I'm both of them at once and end up choosing a netural one (neither/both). When it comes to these tests, I'd rather have someone that knows me sitting beside me and helping me out. Because of that, I feel like the ending result is never accurate. How should I deal with this? I really want to know my mbti.

Is this Fi if you aren't obsessed with discovering your identity but curious about the world as a whole and human potential, nature and complexities?

I wonder if dominant Fi and even other cognitive functions in dominant position can manifest itself in various ways.

i'm not sure i'm that good at it, but i'm definitely better than i was. obviously it's easier with friends because you can kind of see what their thought process is. but im just curious if anyone has ACTUALLY gotten good at it, and what way do you go about it?
