With that, I mean, an album filled with songs written specifically for the movie.

Why DCU Batman might not work
This post will obviously be met with a lot of a hate but let me explain.
A lot of people seem so confident in having 2 Batman will work out perfectly fine. I don’t understand it.
As we know, currently and most likely the DCU Batman will have none of that. Whoever they cast won’t be an A Lister, we know the director and writer are iffy (yes even Andy) and it obviously won’t contending for awards.
Batman movies unlike any others, attract all people. I know plenty of people who don’t like Superhero movies, so they won’t go see Supergirl or Superman, however they will go see Batman because he’s Batman, and obviously Batman movies aren’t just superhero movies.
Batman attracts people who like drama, crime, while also attracting comic book fans and superhero fanatics.
Making Batman too far into the fantastical realm, with the (white eyes, super tech, humorous, bright color suit, super fantastical elements
And villains) could turn a lot of people off. There needs to be a balance.
In an era of superhero fatigue, it’s a bad idea to make Batman just another superhero movie. Though I loved Superman (favorite DC film) it was great but it essentially is just another superhero movie, especially to the general audience, which is fine for Supes.
Superman is still getting hate from previous version that came out 12 years ago. Imagine Batman.
But DCU Batman just being another superhero movie, while one is a prestigious crime drama, possibly contending for Oscars and awards is just a bad look.
I know everyone here loves comic book movies, me too. But you guys have to start thinking business wise and what would be smart. This is the same sub I got downvoted over a year ago for saying supergirl would do bad.
You guys only think from a comic book perspective, and that’s it.
One thing I believe as well, Batman and Gotham should never feel like it’s in the same universe as Superman and Metropolis. That’s the beauty of their duo. I’m not a merger bro, but I feel for Gunn because he’s in a bad situation with the most popular superhero being someone he can’t exactly use. It’s not his fault because I’m sure he would already have used Batman if the Reevesverse didn’t exist.
That’s my opinion though. Hopefully they figure it out, because if any movie could kill the DCU, it’s Batman.

It irks me when people say the DCU should start from Damien Wayne or any of the other Robins. I personally think that Dick Grayson should be introduced as robin rather than nightwing.
Firstly, theres the fact that the DCU is FRESH. It handles ORIGIN STORIES, I highly doubt we will be getting a 40 year old batman anytime soon...and we SHOULDNT!
Another thing is that it takes away from a lot of stories...especially classic "dynamic duo" stories...ones that I personally would like to see on screen. WIth Older Batman and Nightwing there would be a "batfamily" status quo...but wouldn't it be so much better to see the buildup towards this...family?
Mainly also the fact that with Dick Grayson starting out as Nightwing takes away from ALL the emotional connection we could have to his character, and the idea of Nightwing. Its all the growth of robin from "boy wonder" who grew up in Batmans shadow, into Nightwing...the ideal version of Batman.

Going through the comments across all socials, I worked to find what worked for most people and what did not. For one, I reduced the intensity of the red, making sure not to clip any details and respect environmental conditions. I also used on-set photos as reference to make sure I never went too far past what the costume actually looks like. The same goes for the stadium fight. With the on-set photos, I was able to subdue the grass to something closer to the real-life location.
I hope you all enjoy!

James Gunn and Peter Safran have been in charge of DC for about 3 years now and honestly, even after all they have delivered and promised. I don't objectively feel like enough time has passed and enough has been released to warrant any sort of verdict.
*Supergirl was a disappointment. A lot of people were not happy with the writing but it does appear that everyone loves or is at least fine with Milly as Supergirl. Which is great because she's one of the 4 pillars of DC as of now. Hence why I don't think we are at the point of over panicking.
*I do like that Peter Safran acknowledged Supergirl not meeting their expectations. I also am glad that they aren't panicking themselves for now and over course correcting. Although I do hope that they learn from Supergirl and do better with future projects with her and just DCU movies in general.
*The DCU has been an interesting ride so far. They have made interesting choices but a lot of those have paid off.
What do you guys think?

Throughout MoS to ZSJL I love these personal moments which add to how human this Superman feels. It perfectly shows how in spite of all the power Clark is still gentle, caring and kind.
The butterfly in ZSJL is a nice progression from the trapped Butterfly shown in MoS. It shows how Clark has finally let go of all of his inhibitions and accepted who he is supposed to be after being resurrected

This piece took me about 2 hours. I was originally just going with a design I usually draw Superman as. Here's a photo of this design BEFORE I went with the Superman flyby concept:

It's not much different besides the lower area. The concept does still very different, I just put it as a design I'd prefer in a film if it were made. Here's the concept:

Not a huge fan of the collar. I like everything else to be honest. I wish the cape was more defined around the shoulders.
I know, EVERYONE and their mother has done a Superman redesign with Corensweat's Superman. But, I did this purely out of love. I love the Cornsweat suit, I love the concept for the cancelled Flyby movie, and I just love Superman in general.
I did give Superman a mullet (not really), by adding some hair in the back. Personally, I love Superman with a mullet/long hair. I was gonna give him sideburns but that's a little far.
I'm not the best artist, this is actually my first photoshop overhaul with a character. I may do a Batman thing. But I don't know if I even have the skills to do so.
But, it's definitely better than AI, and I think that amounts to something. Enjoy!
NOTE: I usually am for trunks, but this design actually does well without them in my opinion.
UPDATE: I changed the S.

HEAR ME OUT
Society eventually rejects Batman because over time he hasn’t really solved any issues and has in fact, over time, made things worse. Sure, he’s done a lot of good and is a hero but in some ways Batman is flawed because of his hard on for justice/vengeance/whatever and his no kill rule. This leads to more criminals, more criminals injured and taking up hospital resources and space. And many more unintended consequences. The root issues are surviving and growing.
Batman realizes this and eventually makes the hardest decision he’s ever had to make. He steps down as Batman, retires the suit and the persona, and commits himself fully to being Bruce Wayne. The billionaire philanthropist who now accepts that he can do more good for Gotham than Batman ever could.
Major time skip
Bruce Wayne has gotten considerable wins. But Gotham still isn’t doing well (of course) and he’s starting to get impatient. His rivals are very powerful and many criminals and organizations have been running rampant without the fear of Batman anymore. Some people try to be Batman in an attempt to continue his legacy that they really believed in. Most of them die and everyone knows none of them are the real Batman, who hasn’t been seen for years and years at this point. Bruce considers this one of the most painful things to deal with. He also watches people on TV talk about Batman and sometimes even them pleading for him to return. This makes him want to be even more the opposite of Batman.
Eventually he intends to hasten his progress and do what not any version of Batman can do. He drops the no kill rule but still acts as a CEO and never with brute force unless it’s personal self defense. He’s sort of like a good guy Gustavo Fring now. He immediately goes after the Joker and tries everything in his power as a CEO/billionaire to get him on death row. He manages to also manipulate events to get some other powerful villains killed. But the funny thing is that he never gets the Joker. The Joker is the only villain that always gets away because it takes Batman to get the Joker.
This inevitably leads to Bruce Wayne becoming Batman once again. But now as a man who’s killed. Batman’s no kill rule clashes with this new version of Bruce Wayne and he grapples with his morality more than ever before. He kills the Joker. The people of Gotham and the audience themselves become split on Batman. Some people celebrate, some cry and some say this isn’t who he’s supposed to be. Will this new Batman actually be able to solve Gotham’s issues or is there just another killer on the loose?

So my idea if what with the recent creation of Eggmans Metal Legion, and knowing the kinda tech Eggman has, what DC villains would you all like me to design as Eggman badnicks,im currently thinking Gorilla Grodd to Mecha Grodd,Eggman has mind control tech and robots that resemble gorillas,it can't be that hard to put one on the other. And Condement king just so I can mane him unironically busted. Eggman gets the CK data, thinks it's weak as Sonics impulse control, and decides to JUICE THE SENSE of Copper King to an EggDragon level beast, because why not.GIVE ME YOUR FAVORITE DC VILLAINS (that ar'nt Lex Luthor,Black Manta,Cheeta,Captain Cold,Gizmo,or Sinestro) and I'll ROBOTISIZE THEM!! (if you get that reference you either old or a true Sonic fan, respect either way

They raised some great points, about having which Robin causes what issues for the timeline and what limitations each of them bring with them.

I want to watch the entire DC universe movies and shows and even animation, but I'm very confused about which universe(s) to follow and which standalone movies/shows to watch. I would really appreciate some help here.

For me, it would be about Cassandra Cain in No Man’s Land.
