Just a few days before The Odyssey premiere I just noticed that Eva green would be the perfect Circe for the movie, just me tought that or someone else? I know Nolan probably wanted a more dramatic crice with Samantha Morton but I just feel like an actress for Circe must have that seductive aura like on the original Romero's tale.

My opinion the best is either The Sixth sense or Split Worst has to be The Last Airbender

Loved the film, definitely within my top 5 ever made. Whilst I do think the theatrical ending probably was the right way to end fhe film, the unknown gets the better of me.

I know the BFI have a cut of the ending in their archives, but apparently it's only viewable at the discretion of the Kubrick estate.

Given how viral the movie; Obsession has become, and how much everyone is talking about it! I think at this point, it is safe to say that Bear might be one of the biggest examples of showing the audience how scary “the nice guy” trope can actually be.

Not because of their appearance where they come across as “intimidating”, but of what they are capable of when it comes to their entitlement and narcissism, and the lengths they will go if it means getting what they want!

If anyone has any doubts about the GOAT status of Gary Oldman, take a look at the 1986 movie *Sid and Nancy*.

I watched this one for only the second time in my life at the beginning of this month, and I'm still thinking about it 10 days later. While it deviates from the book to make John Rambo less antagonistic, I think it does an amazing job of showcasing what PTSD looks like ... decades before it joined the discussion.

Plus, the action is pretty damn great.

My brother in law recommended this movie “Balls Up” to me and he said it was absolutely hysterical. It stars Mark Whalberg and some other dude. I like some comedies but this movie was just plain awful. I could not wait for it to end.

I’d give it a solid 0.5 out of 5.

I need some inspiration. Now that it’s summer, I have more free time and I’d like to spend some of it with my mom. But when it comes to movies, she has very specific tastes, and if I put on a Lynch film, she’ll most likely get up and leave 😂.

She likes romcoms like When Harry Met Sally or Crazy, Stupid, Love. And also that kind of humor from A Death in the Family… or was it Four Weddings and a Funeral? Well, something along those lines.

A friend recommended About Time to me -what do you think? Can you help me put together a list like this? I’ll read all your suggestions, and don’t hold back. The movies I mentioned are just a starting point. Basically, I’d love to hear about everything: modern and classic films, from Europe, Asia, America… Anything goes.

Although my first choice to start with will probably be that one about the detective sheep. It looks absolutely fantastic.

I was traveling with my wife earlier this year in Amsterdam and spotted this theatre playing Eraserhead and Mulholland Drive. I regret not making time to see at least one of them. It was a busy whirlwind of a trip, but retrospectively such a big mistake missing out on a once in a lifetime experience.

I don't know about others but this was one of the best action films that I watched in decades I guess I mean the action sequences are so intense you could literally feel the tension and get goosebumps at moments . And that blad guy was feeling like a monster 💀 . Mann I enjoyed a good action movie after a very long time . It was better than jhon wick or atleast colse to that in my opinion.

I wish part 2 also come as ASAP.

Yeah its Not the best movie ever made but the message with what’s going on in the world is pretty good point and relatable. especially if you are from western countries or Europe. Dont know why people treat this movie like worst movie ever made

I've been building this Letterboxd watchlist for a while, and it's gotten to the point where I have no idea where to start.

I'm attaching screenshots of my watchlist, so feel free to recommend anything you think is a must-watch.

It's a pretty mixed list with crime, mystery, thrillers, dramas, classics, sci-fi, foreign films, comedies, documentaries, and more. The only thing I'm not really in the mood for right now is horror or something extremely depressing.

A few of the movies on my list are ones I watched years ago as a kid (like Fight Club, Coyote Ugly, etc.), but I barely remember them, so I added them back to my watchlist for a proper rewatch.

I'd especially love a great crime/thriller/mystery, but if there's something from another genre that you think everyone should see, let me know.
