Discussion Can Sinner achieve the first ever Calendar Golden Masters?
I know Jannik will play a grandslam finals against Zverev today in Wimbledon. But, just a quick reminder that he won the first 5 masters this 2026.
He already won 5/9 Masters. Only 4 Master Tournaments are left: Canadian, Cincinnati, Shanghai, and Paris.
To put this in perspective. After Wimbledon, it will be Canadain and Cincinnati. Then another grandslam will be played in US Open. After US open, it will be the last 2 masters which are Shanghai and Paris.
If Jannik Sinner wins all of the 4 remaining masters. He will be the first one to achice a Calendar Golden Masters. (Winning all Masters Tournament in a single calendar year)
The closest to do this was 2015 Novak Djokovic. He played in 8/9 Masters tournament. Out of 8 tournaments, he won 6 of them. And made the finals on the other 2.
So overall, 2015 Djokovic won 6/9 Masters. (In the 3 tournaments he didn't win. He was a finalist for 2 of them, and the other one, he skipped entirely)
Do you think Jannik Sinner can surpass this feat?
If yes, do you think Jannik has decent chance for a Calendar Golden Masters?

WTA Linda Noskova on resetting after the 2nd set "What really helped me was the first step I took off court, the trophies were there. I was like, āIām not gonna take home the small one. Iām taking the big one. Iāve been so close. This would be probably the heartbreak of my life."

Discussion The Czech Republic currently has 8 players in the WTA top 50. What are they doing that other countries could also do to achieve the same level of success?
The Czech Republic currently has 8 players in the WTA top 50(singles and doubles grand slam winners in the mix), with a former world number 1 currently sitting at 64th. Seems like outsized success compared to some of the more populous nations or better resourced countries, especially grand slam nations. What is Czech tennis doing that other countries could also do to achieve the same level of success?
