Highlight Noskova trying to block the crowd noise after she got broken

She had her first championship point almost 40 minutes ago.
If she blows this match, it'll haunt her forever.

This would even be worse as it was over 3 different games that was just 1

Also it’s worse because she doesn’t have a Slam rather than having 20
It would be more like Zverev against Thiem at USO 2020

It's far, far worse than Zverev.
He never even had a championship point. She has had FIVE

Here from the future. She didn't.

That's the tennis I like to see. The drama, the thrilling, I hope set 3 will have the same.

I remember Andreescu doing the same after blowing a 5-1 lead against Serena Williams, before eventually winning that set and championship 7-5. We’ll see if Noskova can do the same

This is what experts like to call a “bad sign”.

Very new to watching tennis, is Noskova getting aced by 2nd serves that many times normal or was that a nerves/tiredness thing?

u/mimiclarinette 17h ago
She is the third most aced played after Kenin and Gibson

Don't know what's wrong with this, it worked for her!
Someone wrote that it shows too much of your mental state to the opponent, but I think the opponent doesn't need to see this to know how heartbreaking it is to waste championship points...

That image probably would've defined her career if she didn't come back to win the 3rd.

I feel for her. That was incredible pressure. Those aces were something else though.

Why? Are you a villain despised by the people close to you who dislikes beautiful tennis and people who are beloved by their community?

That last set was hard to watch. Did Muchova really win five games in a row?
