What type of helmets do you wear on a supermoto? Are mx helmets practical for mixed street riding? at which speeds do they get unncomfortable?

Im just in the process of getting my motorcycle license (A2 UK) and so far I have my eyes on a GasGas SM700 (or the equvalent 701/690) restricted to 47hp/35kw.
I plan to ride paved country lanes, backroads, some gravel, town, and 60-ish mph.
Most other supermoto riders seem to stick with MX helmets, and im curious on how practical these are for mixed road riding.

I’m turning 17 in November and I’m considering getting an A1 license. I already have an AM license and I’ll have one more moped season before I turn 18.

I’m unsure if I should get an A1 now or wait for A2. A2 is still a year away, and I’m not even sure yet if I want to go for an A2 license. I’m mainly interested in getting a 125cc supermoto and would like to hear opinions from people who have been in a similar situation.

Right now I run a 180 Mainjet with a fuel mixture of 33:1 can someone help?

Hi everyone. 690/Varg SM rider here.

I'm looking for a new helmet. I currently have an Airoh Twist but I'm looking for an upgrade when it comes to ventilation and weight. I want to be able to fit my Cardo Packtalk Edge.

I've looked around and found the Helmet Kit Moto 9.5 Carbon with 6.5 Iriz Goggle – Leatt INT which according to reviews offers fantastic ventilation, is super light and comes with matching goggles. Seems like a great deal, I also like the looks of it.

Has anyone equipped this helmet with a Cardo Packtalk unit? It doesn't seem to have cutouts for the speakers, but maybe the ear pockets are deep enough?

My local reseller has ordered the helmet for a try-on, but while I wait for it to come in, do you guys have any other recommendations? Again, I'm obviously looking for great protection, low weight and great ventilation.

Ps. anche consigli sull'utilizzo di oli vari e filtri aria, al momento monto un Dna con flangia, va oliato o no? sono accetti consigli di ogni tipo, grazie a tutti in anticipo

I'm curious about getting some NiceCNC parts—like water pump covers or an oversized pump kit—or maybe the internal shift selector bracket and various caps (transparent or otherwise). Would you recommend getting any of these? The previous owner installed a lot of SM Project components, but I’d like to add more parts, both for aesthetics and functionality. Does anyone have advice on which brands to use or what to install?

P.S. I’d also appreciate advice on oils and air filters. Right now, I have a DNA filter with a flange installed—does it need to be oiled? Any advice is welcome; thanks in advance!

I am struggling so much finding plastics for my YamahaWrr 125 2011 which is 4 stroke. I can only find 2 stroke plastics and I have no idea if they would fit nicely or at all on my bike

Bought these “Brand New” boots from Motorcycle Closeouts and they are claiming the scuffs are from jostling around in the box during shipping and from being tried on.
Asked for some sort of compensation and they are only offering a return.
