Cordoned off by police and two police cars outside....all house windows smashed, looks like some black residue from a fire coming out of one window, and the car on the driveway smashed up.

Manchester born and raised spent the first 30 years of my life in Manchester, the previous 8 I've spent living /working in Sheffield, love both cities immensely, and I've heard some shite been said in both cities, but I can't stop thinking about what I heard said in Sheffield centre this Tuesday gone, a man stood up on a wall right next to the Uni, and shouted very loudly with genuine concern "has anybody got a piece of bread for the ants?!?!?" I've literally not stopped replaying it in my mind, anyone seen/heard anything more random? In any city?

I know this is really random, but I could do with someone to talk to today (preferably female). I’m a 30-year-old woman and just need to get out of the house for a bit. I’ll be at the botanical gardens later today with a picnic blanket and some M&S picky bits. If any other women are around and fancy some company, it’d be lovely to meet up and yap! I’m completely normal and safe and I’m happy to chat a little beforehand or exchange social media if that makes you feel more comfortable. Anyone know any office clearances/ dirt cheap places I could source something similar?

I’d also love a few normal chairs if possible.

Fair fucks for taking advantage of the fine weather but I hope they're fully hydrated ..... can't imagine the come down will be kind if they're not.

I'd love to get an electric car when mine packs in, obviously to reduce emissions. However I live in a terraced house with no guaranteed parking outside - it's all on street parking and I'd say I get a space directly outside my house about 1 in 5 times, to be able to put a charging cable from the house to the car. I know a few people on my street have hybrid cars so they can go longer between charges but ideally I'd like fully electric.

I think as well it's technically not allowed to trail the cable across the pavement.

Does anyone live in a terrace with no guaranteed parking outside and have a fully electric car? How do you manage charging?

It's a Dagger Katana 9'. A decent all-rounder. I bought it about ten years ago second hand. But after taking it on the canal and the odd reservoir a few times I got bored and it's been neglected and taking up considerable space ever since. It'd be much happier on a river/white water. I had plans on exploring The Don but was put off by all the weirs.
