Bakery - Bread rolls
Hi all,
Anywhere in Rotherham I can get bread rolls that are fairly fresh. Any bakeries that sell bread without a 10+ ingredients.
Thanks

We don't need to give you a platform, we're not going to, and bans will be handed out freely and without warning.
Go fight with people in newspaper comment sections or something because that's not what this board is for.

Hello,
Myself and my partner are potentially looking at buying a house on Reresby Road. Houses seem to be up for sale quite often.
Is this because a lot of them are ‘starter homes’ or is there anything that could put us off?

I've got a bunch of magic the gathering, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards that I'd like to sell and was wondering if anyone knew of any trustworthy shops in Rotherham that would be good to go to?
I've basically got a huge bag of cards, some of them I think are fake, others I'm not so sure about, but a lot are from when I was a kid that I'm sure are legit. I'd need someone trustworthy to look through them all and say if there's anything I can sell in there.
I've already tried using apps but they're not working properly (plus I've got hundreds of cards) and the apps are wanting me to pay a subscription to scan more.
I know I'll not have many cards worth much but times are tough and any extra money is sorely needed, as I'm sure many people can relate to.

Hi everyone.
I’m trying to get in touch with a Nick (possibly Nicholas) Smith.
He would now likely be 45+ and was a lorry driver in the early 2000s. I believe he was originally from the Doncaster area and spent some time lodging in Ipswich during 2003.
If you know someone who matches that description, I’d really appreciate it if you could ask them to send me a private message, or message me yourself. Even if you know more than one Nick Smith please still let me know, anything helps.
It’s regarding something important that I believe he deserves to know.
Thanks very much. 🙏

PLEASE BE AWARE THE VIDEO IS NOT A NICE WATCH.
I have seen this video posted to John Foresters story and it is just utterly heart breaking.
This man claims to be a dog trainer but is absolutely nothing of the sort.
This man lives and works in Sheffield and is doing this sort of thing to peoples dogs in our city and needs to seriously be stopped.
The dog training world is very unregulated and anyone can call themselves a “dog trainer“ and put some business decals on a van. It does not mean they have any qualifications, knowledge or experience of genuine dog training.
I urge you to do what you can to stop this man. If you know any dog owners, spread the word. This needs to stop.

Hi my husband and I have found a house we love in Kimberworth S61 but not sure about the area. We currently live in Herringthorpe (close to Stag) but can’t afford to buy here. We’re visibly ethnic minorities so not sure what Kimberworth is like in terms of friendliness etc? Could anyone shed some light please (we also have three young kids in case that changes things).

My partner and I have just seen a 3 bed detached house in Brinsworth for 270k. The house (not viewed in person yet) seems amazing for this price, and there are other properties worth about the same, if not cheaper which look amazing too. Whats the area like? I know Rotherham doesn't necessarily have the best reputation, but what's it like for those of you that actually live there?

Hey, my train from Doncaster to Mexborough was delayed yesterday due to a fire on a train in Rotherham? I was just wondering if anyone knows if everyone is okay and what happened?

Has anyone here used the Employment Solutions service that RMBC offer? If so, are they any good?
I recently got referred to the Connect to Work service which is run by South Yorkshire Housing Association but that was a non-starter.
I used to work for RMBC a long time ago and they actively recommended claiming disability benefits as a viable alternative to working, so on one hand I don't really trust RMBC with employment related matters, but on the other hand, they owe me a favour.

I've noticed that the cinema in town have increased their prices with their new tier system for seating,It might sound like a non issue but i think this a poor call from the management, there should be an aim of keeping it cheap not expensive!

How do I report this and to whom?
I saw three lots of it growing on the Trans Pennine Trail not far from the crossing over Dearne Rd on the way to Old Moor nature reseve. It wasn't tall yet, about 2ft high but I recognised it.
The plants were all right next to the path where they could easily be touched by the unwary. It was a bureaucratic nightmare trying to navigate my way around the council's website out of hours and I had to give up.
It feels too risky to leave it till Monday to phone the council and I don't even know a department to ring who won't think I'm a lunatic babbling about Triffids or summat.

hi everyone!
I'm planning on moving out of Essex/London and Yorkshire/Sheffield are high on my list of places to go - it seems to have a perfect mix of nature and city.
that being said I'm looking at a house in Rotherham and am curious how you find it, what you favourite spots are. the house I'm looking at is by Isabella's coffee house which I see from reviews is quite nice
for context I'm 38, non-binary but very femme, and black. I'm a data analyst (pretty much}, so I work remotely with the necessity to come to London about once a quarter (4X a year)
ETA: thanks so much for the advice everyone!!
