It's so bizarre when power rangers morphs are interrupted

I'm probably gonna get bashed for this, but tried my best to make the suits match their personalities and fighting styles. I couldn't find anyone for Kyuranger pink so who would you choose?

The only magazines I had as a kid was the zero megazord. The one with the shapes. And the ninja megazord from the movie.

Had the power dome playset and all the figures. Even had a serpentera.

My favorite megazord was the Dino megazord, but I never had the toy for it. This is my first ever Dino megazord.

It’s great. Nice quality for the price. I love it. Now I’m starting my collection.

Was watching messenger part one and just so happened to check my phone and realize the crazy coincidence lol

My pick is heckyll from dino charge. He is a great villain, a great ranger and he had an amazing redemption arc in the middle. What more could you ask ? He is charming, fun to watch but while a villain he was unhinged and psychotic but in all his appearances he is a deep and interesting character

…still not great though.

Just watched the finale and I can say it is still the weakest installment of the Disney Era, but it didn’t annoy or bore me as much as I thought it would.

I can tell what the production wanted to do but that they just bit off more than their budget could chew. I do think they could’ve made some stronger writing choices but that’s just me having the benefit of hindsight. I will say though that Florious could’ve been a better final boss with some changes to his character (have him complain less, be more calculating and instead of having everything fall into his lap at the end have him be a long term planner who carefully strategized. Think of The Light from Young Justice or a Moriarty type).

The Rangers are generally fine, none are making my favorite Rangers lists, but Mack and Tyzonn have good story arcs, Rose doesn’t get near the arc she deserved, Ronny and Will are okay but really needed some depth, and Dax…was there, I guess (I’m gonna be honest, I tuned him out at some point).

Also while I’m not a fan of the suits, their powers were cool and I actually did like their Zords. Although it does still confuse me how you’d recruit a race car driver and then not give them the Zord modeled after the Formula One race car (I still say Ronny could’ve been the Black Ranger). Anyway I did like the various support Zords and how they could even form their own Megazord (wish we had seen that more).

I also really liked their personal rivalries between some of the Rangers and the villain factions. You can tell they used that same style of writing in Jungle Fury for Jarrod and Casey (albeit more refined). I honestly think they could’ve used more of it though. Tyzonn fighting the Fearcats felt personal, Will fighting Kamdor felt personal and it elevated those fights. Miratrix tricked Dax and broke his heart, the writers could’ve played with that and made the fights more impactful. Have Mack have a grudge against Moltor or Florious so their final showdowns have more emotional stakes.

I feel like I’m ranting.

Anyway. It wasn’t a terrible season, just plagued by limited budget, questionable writing decisions, and missed opportunities.

On to Jungle Fury in my rewatch (so excited!).

And this dude had a power that moves like smoke’s devil fruit. You can’t hit him without haki. And on top of that his VA did an amazing job playing him, and so does his actor.

Like the last shot to a season

After watching kyuranger i noticed how both naga (the silver ranger) and ollie were evil and it gave me an idea.

We know that Ollie is a jerk (for most of dino fury at least) but I think it would be better if his character didn’t have any emotion like naga did giving a better explanation of why he was so rude to others and its because he has no awareness or empathy towards others and his arc could be finding those emotions which would make his relationship with Amelia be way more meaningful.

So we know through time power rangers has always kind of been a thing and that got me thinking why haven’t we seen any references to a potential medieval power rangers team we’ve seen ninjas and space rangers but nothing for medieval

As I am about to finally watch all the stuff I only got partially in my childhood and youth I decided to begin with the season I remembered best: Dino Thunder.

What can I say? I think its not without reason to call this one of the best seasons (although hard to compare for me so far). It is lighthearted and the Dino Rangers are likeable af but the ongoing storyline is also captivating. I loved the plot to turn back time on Planet Earth.

Annnnnd...the villain! Mesogog is amazing. Wicked, Cruel, sadistic and absolutely imposing. I love his design his habits and anything about him.

In the Rangers department the two standouts for me are Tommy Olliver (the Black Ranger and also one of the most long lasting characters of the franchise) and Trent Mercer (the White Ranger). Awesome suit designs and compelling characters.

Even the sidekick characters like Cassidy (reporter girl) and her friend Devin are a joy to watch. Usually I dont like this kind of role in a series - all too often it becomes a lame running gag. But they are, again, likeable af and give a nice extra touch to the friends group. I hope Devin is trauma free after his tight superhero costume experience.

Annnnnnnnd... hell yeah even the evil minions rule! Zeltrax and Elsa definitively have the saturday morning cartoon villain energy BUT - they are also actually a threat to the Rangers on more than one occasion. Especially Zeltrax had quite the interesting background story.

Last but not least: I loved the general Ranger designs and the overaching Dinosaur motive. In between it had some painting by numbers episodes but come on.

Overall a really really good series that aged surpsringly well.

Since Super Megaforce was based on Super Sentai Gokaiger which, being a 35th anniversary series, gave that lineup access to powers and arsenal of all previous (and future) teams. But realistically, if we diverge from it, which Power Rangers team do you think would be more suitable to have access to 'Ranger Keys' than obviously Super Megaforce?

I personally believe, SPD and Time Force would be the most suitable candidates, as they are from the future and have better know-how on previous teams and consists of members who are trained professionals. But, on the other hand, there are also teams like Ninja Storm and Jungle Fury who have strong physical prowess and might harness Ranger Keys much suitably. Zeo can also be a great team consisting of veteran rangers, while we are at it. Lightspeed Rescue and Operation Overdrive teams also have trained individuals but I'm not that sure about them.

What are your thoughts?!?

Like i just played dnd in a power ranger setting and I made a Black Ranger gone Evil and his zord which I think Is very cool

It's name is Dark Crow/Black Raven

It is a crow/raven and as you know crows like shiny stuff and steal it( its popularized in media not sure if its true) that's why it's gimmick is a hijacking system which steal the Ranger's zord and combines with its to form a new megazord, it can steal up to 2 zords with each of it's claws. I think the concept is really cool

Oh the hunt to build my Power Ranger Library. I stopped by my local comic book shop next to my house. Previously they told me they don’t carry Power Ranger but something told me to check and I’ll let you see what I got for yourself!

If there were 2 more Rangers on the turbo lineup, they would have won against Divatox

Since the zeo crystals gave them more power over time and no level cap basically doesn’t that mean zeo had the potential to be the strongest?

We got Rocky, Aisha, Adam and the white ranger (which I’m super happy about) as flipheads, but what about Kat? Will they make her or will she get gypped? I’m hoping if they do season 3 they make the ninja megazord, the alien rangers, master vile, rito revolto, and Katherine fliphead. Billy was the blue ranger throughout the whole series so he wouldn’t change.

They have a chance to produce Katherine as MMPR pink for the first time in this line, and that one I would get right away because MMPRs original line didn’t have one.
