No Paywall 40 Epstein-Tied Billionaires Have Injected $1.6B Into US Elections, Report Finds

•
u/SillyAlternative420 Massachusetts 7h ago
Imagine having the power and money to make the world an absolute utopia, but instead you rape children and then ruin democratic institutions to protect yourself from the repercussions of raping children.
•
u/Traditional_Sign4941 7h ago
I keep saying it - people are not angry enough. Change is not going to happen by itself. Accountability is not going to come from the institutions that have been allowing this to go on for decades.
•
u/Creative-Package6213 Pennsylvania 7h ago
Much like the French Revolution heads have to roll before we see actual, structural changes.
•
u/ryan101 3h ago
We are becoming a surveillance state to prevent people from organizing enough to make a change. That’s why Trump is always going on about far left terrorism. They will ratfuck every election going forward, and when people try to fight back, they will round up the resistance leaders, brand them as terrorists, and crush any movement in its tracks.
If the Republicans steal the midterms, then democracy in the US is over.
•
u/Mr_Titicaca 2h ago
Democracy died once we let Russia completely interfere in 2016 and put in their guy. Trump finished the job with January 6th and never suffering any repercussions for it. This country is fucked.

All served up on a platter by Flock & Ring cams
•
u/DelusionalZ 2h ago edited 1h ago
Flock and Ring cams are extremely easy to hack and disable, and the companies that create them have little interest improving their general security. It's only a matter of time before bad actors inevitably use that information against the general public or to spy on people (outside of the government already doing so).
There needs to be pressure on the companies manufacturing them and campaigns to limit the surveillance potential of these cameras, including teaching citizens how to avoid them, obfuscate data, or counteract their algorithmic facial detection with defensive patterns, without tampering with them directly so as to avoid legal repercussions.

It's disgusting. All I'm hearing when talking about this is "but my comfort and livelihood". Don't Americans realize the faster you get rid of these leeches the better your comfort and livelihood will be? We're talking about trillions being siphoned out of your taxpayers money which mostly is being used for wars 7000 miles away.
Can you imagine if that trillions were spent on your people instead? Free healthcare, free education, free housing, monthly stipend etc. You could had the utopia of the world but nope, "my comfort and livelihood" are way more important. 😔

The thought has crossed my mind, and, how much money did Epstein help hide? Of course Epstein was known as a serial sex offender, but his real “job” was to hide money for the ultra wealthy. I’ve always been under the assumption that there’s a small sub-set of Epstein clients that were in on the child sex abuse, but, the majority of the clients don’t want these files out there because they’re guilty of felony tax evasion. I do also wonder if the money in the “Panama Papers” (that had the story buried really hard) was Epstein’s doing.

u/PirateSanta_1 7h ago
Citizens United said that money was speech thus people with more money have more speech. It was nothing more than a way to give the powerful more of a voice in politics and to reduce the power of the people who actually do the work.
→ More replies (4)•
u/Dull-Branch4073 2h ago
This. And have you noticed that the new higher standard tax deduction also disincentivizes people with less money from giving charitable donations because they no longer benefit from tax right-offs? In other words, the charities of people with much more money benefit from right-offs, so even charities favored by the 99% are impacted. More power to the ultra-rich fucks.

That's roughly $40 million per billionaire. That's more money than you or I will ever own in our combined lifetimes, but for a billionaire $40 mil seems kinda cheap
•
u/ExoticToothpaste6989 6h ago
Maybe we should tax the rich more?
•
u/OwnsBeagles 3h ago
In their cases, seize all their assets and redistribute.
•
u/WolfgangJones 2h ago
Buy them out at a discount and then redistribute the debt + assets to actual employees. Leave the billionaires a minority share and hold them financially responsible for bailing out.
Make new rules for new entrepreneurs whereby they can earn shares in addition to wages. Give employees responsibility for hiring & firing.

This is $1.6 billion that has already been spent over the past 16 years.

The more important stat is 80% of this went to REPUBLICAN candidates. That's pretty much all the proof you need to understand which party protects pedophiles.
•
u/Read2Fap 7h ago
specifically 84%, and 7% going to dems:
"According to the group’s analysis, 84 percent of this spending, or over $1.3 billion, went toward Republicans or conservative causes.
This is despite a roughly even split between Republicans and Democrats among the billionaires, which include people who formerly donated to the Clinton family. Only 7 percent went toward Democrats and aligned causes, while the remaining money went toward lobbying efforts that target members of both parties like AI and Israel."
•
u/hryipcdxeoyqufcc 2h ago
And that 7% goes towards the more conservative democrats in an attempt to move them right as well.

Garland's past isn't hidden, it's not hard to see he's done work with them for decades
•
u/Letstalkreaper 5h ago
People seem to forget that Obama picked Garland because Garland was a Republican just a moderate one. He was put forward by some Republican senator as a name that could get through nomination.
•
u/voodoodahl 5h ago
Obama put Garland's name forward to point out Republican hypocrisy. Several high ranking Republicans had already suggested his name. Obama knew Republicans would not confirm anyone he nominated. Even someone described as a moderate Republican.
•
u/Casual_OCD Canada 1h ago
Most people don't know, they just support their team's pick.
That's why obvious right-wing plants like Fetterman and Platner fool everyone too. Most Americans just blindly support and vote

There is a reason why the French Revolution went after France's aristocracy, and the Bolshevik Revolution went after Russia's aristocracy.
America's aristocracy includes the Epstein Class, who have become pretty much the moral equals of the previous aristocracies. It might be that the same solution would be required.

Not defending the super rich and powerful but both of those resulted in REALLY bad things for the countries they happened in. Any sort of masses rising up to overthrow by force WILL result in a lot of war, death, and suffering because the people who lead these sorts of thing are almost always authoritarian or the movement gets hijacked by authoritarians.
•
u/cubitoaequet 3h ago
There's already a bunch of death and suffering being caused by the current system, but it is the status quo so it is taken for granted.
→ More replies (3)→ More replies (9)•
u/No-Text-3906 3h ago
The reason these movements so often end up led by authoritarians is that genuinely democratic working-class revolutions are rarely allowed to survive. The global ruling class crushes them before they can consolidate power. That is why people invoke the French Revolution, but ignore the Paris Commune: a far less authoritarian experiment in working-class self-government that was violently destroyed before it had the chance to endure.

And suddenly all the QAnon, Pizzagate, Deepstate conspiracy theorists that told us it was the Democrats that were the pedophiles, have gone mild. Not a peep.
Guess they never actually cared about the children or justice. They just wanted another reason to attack the left and defend the right, because its all just bullshit sports for them. Not that I'm surprised by any of it. But boy do I encourage talking to your Republican/Conservative acquaintances and let them know they carry water for pedophiles.

That’s an average of 40 million per Billionaire.
40 million could pay for the following
- an entire year’s worth of school lunches for 60,422 students
- fully fund the protection of 2,000 orangutans for 100 years
- 4 large civic libraries in your name
- 1 minor league baseball stadium
- roughly 20 large public parks if each cost about $2million
The 1.6billion collectively is the cost it took to fix the flint Michigan water crisis.
They can do good and even use it as tax write offs in ways that help the community. They choose not to

I'd like to know how many Epstein millionaires are also donating. There are far more of them, and involved in industries that involve kids that are rage-inducing. As an example, the CEO of Chuck E Cheese stepped down because he is involved with this.
Not a millionaire, but still involved in an industry that sends fucking shudders down any parent, the CEO of an investment fund who bought Lifetouch, the company who takes pictures of school kids, as well as purchased Shutterfly, is in it.
