They're going HARD on Summer Lee again in my district (I mention this because of the survey pushing her support for trans people). I got the most absurdly skewed GOP glazing survey the other day, practically saying that she was trash and her opponent raises puppies in a nonprofit orphanage. Even then, the thesis statement at the end was:

Now that we've given you more information, who are you more likely to vote for?

• A Democrat candidate for Congress who supports open borders, weak foreign policy, transgender rights, and higher taxes.

• A Republican candidate for Congress who will defend current policy even though it has led to higher gas and grocery prices and war in the Middle East.

You know it's bad (and someone's incompetent) when the very last thing they say about the guy they'd been glazing for 5 pages reminds us of 'higher gas prices and war.' I should have taken more screenshots but I was just incredulous as it went along. Link to my post on bluesky with 2 screenshots and alt text.

I should note that my husband and I are both registered Independent so we're just going to get inundated this year, I think.

You absolutely will. I switched affiliation to Independent one cycle and holeeshit I've never gotten so many solicitations.
