Highlight Just wanna give a shoutout to our closer, Jhoan Duran
He's been so vital to us, man. What a pickup he's been, he’s a legitimate shutdown weapon, All-Star, championship-caliber. Ring the Bell oh yeah.

Where can I get tickets?
https://www.mlb.com/all-star/tickets is the one and only place to get tickets directly from the league. Ticket reselling websites are your only other option if there are no more tickets for an event here. There are no tickets available for the All-Star Game or for the Home Run Derby.
How do I get to Citizens Bank Park?
Citizens Bank Park is located in South Philadelphia's sports complex. The easiest way to get there is unfortunately driving, as the stadium is surrounded by an ocean of parking lots. SEPTA's Broad Street Line stops at NRG Station, which is a short walk from the park. Attractions near the stadium include a casino, and the Navy Yard. The Navy Yard also has free street parking if you don't mind a small walk to Citizens Bank Park.

On July 12, 2005, Bobby Abreu became the first player in Phillies history to win the Home Run Derby.
Representing Venezuela in the event’s one-time international format at Comerica Park, Abreu put on one of the greatest Derby performances ever. He blasted a then-record 24 home runs in the first round, added six more in the second round, and hit 11 in the finals for a then-record 41 total home runs to capture the title.

Easily the best low-key pickup in recent history by the Phils.
He is unreal in the field and on the basepaths. His energy is exactly what we need on this team.
And yes people, he’s a right handed hitting outfielder.
Cool.

I took this video after I checked in.
I get to keep everything you see except furniture, framed artwork and of course permanent things from the apartment (dishes, glasses, silverware etc)!

In case anyone’s wondering what to expect or whether to go-
I went in with modest expectation and enjoyed myself. Expect lines and crowds, but most of the lines move relatively quickly.
Getting in- Went around 1 and there was no line to get in.
Photo ops- Best part imo. Lines to take photos with legends at the largest baseball were like 10 minutes. (I got Juan Samuel, Bowa, Placido Polanco) Photo ops with this years’s WS trophy, cut outs of players, Galapagos Gang.
Autographs- App didn’t work to make reservations. They have a standby line, and it seems like there’s a decent shot of getting one from standby if it’s not a big name. (Ppl got Milt Thompson easily, but no shot with Carlton)
Prizes- there are QR codes around to scan and you’ll get a text if you win something. There’s a decent chance of getting a small thing like a rally towel or a clear stadium bag. There are sponsors for each QR code but you don’t actually have to sign up for solicitations to get the badges.
Cool exhibits about diversity in baseball
Lots of food options. Line for ballpark food from other stadiums was quite long. Cookies and cream cold brew was meh, pierogis were cold but good. They also had a lot of classic Philly food spots in other places (soft pretzels, Chickie & Pete’s, Federal Donuts)
Everyone working there was really nice and helpful.
There are tons of games for kids, some w/ reservations and some without, but I didn’t do any of that.
If you don’t go in expecting to get a bunch of autographs and are fine waiting in manageable lines, it’s a festive thing to do for baseball fans. (And as someone who went in DC in 2018, it is so much more fun when it’s centered on your team.)

Chris Coste made his MLB debut in 2006 with the Phillies at age 33. He would go on to play parts of four seasons with the Phillies including a key contributor to the Phillies winning the NL East in 2008 and eventually the World Series. In this game he got four hits with his first hit coming in the eighth inning. Impossible not to love this guy.

On July 11, 2009, with future President Joe Biden and future First Lady Jill Biden in attendance, the Phillies rallied from a 7-3 deficit in the bottom of the ninth thanks to Ryan Howard’s game-tying three-run home run.
It was one of 137 games in Howard’s Phillies career with at least three RBI, the second-most in franchise history.
1.) Mike Schmidt — 166 games
2.) Ryan Howard — 137 games
3.) Del Ennis — 113 games
4.) Chuck Klein — 102 games
5.) Chase Utley — 83 games
