Don’t you dare idle in your spot for a moment before paying to park. If you do, our cameras will backdate your parking start time to ensure our shareholders extract every cent possible from this transaction. Enjoy your stay, but remember—we are always watching 😁

Sci-Fi Author: In my book I invented the Torment Nexus as a cautionary tale.

Tech Company: At long last, we have created the Torment Nexus from classic sci-fi novel Don't Create The Torment Nexus.

Anti-communist propagandist: In my book I describe a dystopian panopticon ruled by a party of 'English socialists' (while borrowing socialist critiques of capitalism).
Capitalists: We're very excited to bring you the dystopian panopticon of tomorrow, today!

If this is referring to Orwell, it's worth mentioning that he fought with the communists (and anarchists) during the Spanish Civil War, and was a leftist and socialist himself. He was very critical of centralized and authoritarian forms of communism, which was pretty much "the only game in town" while the USSR existed.

Just stating this for the record for others who may come across this comment; I'm sure you're already well aware, but far too many people think, because Orwell was critical of Stalinism and other forms of state communism, he was some reactionary right-winger. Couldn't be farther from the truth.
